I ordered some custom glass shelves and mirrors to turn 2 IKEA cabinets that came with wood shelves and a cardboard backing into display cabinets. Not only did A-1 give me several great price options, they were super nice and easy to work with. The glass and mirrors were completely flawless and now I can finally display my great grandmother’s crystal. I’ve used A-1 several times and have always been extremely satisfied so I thought it was about time I write a review. I love the family feel of the business. I highly recommend them!

I had a window seal break which let moisture penetrate between glass panes which then started to mold. A-1 was able to repair to good as new for a reasonable price. Now my outlook on life is much better literally.Thank you A-1

In a freakish incident, and right after we were sitting next to it, our patio table’s glass top suddenly shattered with a loud boom. Even our neighbors heard it and checked if we were ok!So I found A-1 in Beaverton. Since we wanted a local place with a good reputation, they filled the bill.I contacted them online and got a prompt email reply. After a few quick exchanges with Emily and measurements, the order was placed and made to order. And the price was reasonable.After good communication, I picked it up early this morning after about 10 days. It looks and fits great, maybe better than the original from Hampton Bay. We are glad we got the polished edge. And, with a staff member’s help, it fit in the back of our vehicle but just barely as expected. Needed a simple part to hang a mirror, the person who answered the phone put me on hold for 5 min, when she came back on had to look for part, make excuses about size, went to pick up part, had to get her off the computer where she was surfing the web, bad attitude and wouldnt even provide simple nails for the part paid $60 for some J rail and cant provide .30 cents worth of nails attitude was who cares about your needs just go elsewhere if you dont like itAs a general contractor I will never us this company again

Great service and very professional. I had a huge retail front window that was cracked. I got 3 other estimates and they all came in around $700-$800....A-1 estimated $465!! I figured they might up it after they came out to finish the job since they were so much cheaper than everyone else, nope I paid $465, very pleased with the experience.They were in and out quick and I didnt even have to close the store. Thanks so much A-1. Highly recommend this local company.

I needed a simple glass shelf cut. They quoted several prices for different options, and they took my payment over the phone, and placed where I could pick it up after hours. Their customer service was top notch, and they were very friendly and courteous. Mine was a small purchase, but they treated me like I was spending hundreds. Kudos to a great company. After 20 years or so, several windows in our home had sprung seal leaks and turn smoky. If you ever run into this issue I strongly recommend you call A-1. They are professional, courteous, friendly, honest, clean, careful, prompt and fairly priced (in my opinion). They know their business and they do it well. They are a great local business that do things right. If only EVERY business was this good!

I had a great experience with this company. I spoke to Alvina and Emily to coordinate my estimate and floor to ceiling bay windows in a sunroom. My estimator came out and immediately recognized the size and type of window I would need and was very professional.The same day I had a quote emailed to me. I had three other estimates and A-1 had the most reasonable price and professional service. I was told the glass would be ordered and ready within about a week and thats exactly what happened.The installers were kind, courteous, and professional. I was so happy the windows looked great I bought them both lunch. They hauled my old windows away, I wont use another window installer.

Very helpful staff for glass and mirrors

I brought in my own mirror to have a hole cut out. Dropped it off and called a couple of days later hoping to pick it up, but got a bad news instead. They broke the mirror while cutting it. What is my compensation? Nothing. They told me it was at my own risk!!! It would be nice to know that ahead of time, I might have gone different route and bought the mirror from them. It was very disappointing indeed. They didnt even try to offer me anything... just oops moment! I feel cheated, and just a warning to others. When you bring your own mirror, youre at your OWN RISK!!! I thought I was saving some money, but bringing my own mirror from Home Depot. Just SOL. Lesson learned.

I recently ordered replacement windows for our home. Most home improvement stores sell windows but I have to say it can make a big difference who you buy from. Charlie took the time to ask some good questions and then provided insight into design features I would not have thought of. What we ended up with were designer windows at the same price of regular replacements. Had it not ben for his help I would not have the beautiful windows with the 3/5 feature and top grid. Both design ideas did not change the price from what I was going to order but the end result is a look and function which is awesome. Thank you for taking the time to help us pick out the perfect replacement widows!

One of our windows started getting foggy. I am really glad I bought the replacement windows from A1 glass. Not only were they competitively priced but they also came with a lifetime warranty against defects. The manufacturer is coming out to replace the glass panel at no charge. Emily was very helpful and made sure I had all of the information I needed to submit a warranty request. Once again it was a pleasure working with someone who took their business serious and stood behind their product with excellent customer service. Thank you!

Customer service is absolutely outrageous and oh so considerate! The only problem was, the apartment complex that hired A-1 Glass & Mirror did not know they were going to be given the wrong measurements, then expected the glass to fit!Amc/Andover Park Apartments figured if they put a little bit money into these falling down apartments is pretty sad!

Horrid shop

Originally, I was getting a hole drilled in a wall tile for my shower surround. After visiting their showroom and seeing their quality shower doors, I opted to purchase from them as their product was equal to or better than the big box store. Also, there quote included installation and was done by professional craftsman from their own company so no hastles on warrenty issues. The craftsmen made 2 visits, first to measure and then for final install. I was impressed by their courteous, neat, and professional demeanor. I highly recommend them. Job well done! P Miller
