Steve was very thoughtful in working with myself and my partner. We enjoyed our experience with him and found his insight helpful in improving our relationship and communication. Id recommend him highly.

I went through EAP, a benefit offered from my work to find a counselor to assist me through difficult work situations involving my manager. After my first session with Regner I was not impressed. When I explained what I was going through at my job his response was Dont you think you are overreacting? vs. my current counselor who is considerate and understanding educating me about different parts of the brain while also understanding my work culture (she has worked with before) telling me not to take my managers behavior personal because he seems to have issues with everyone on the floor. My current counselor took time to understand background information that Stephen failed to ask me in our initial meeting. Stephen was not a good fit for me personally. He did not validate my emotions, made me feel like I was overreacting and I didnt find him pleasant. I went through providence and found a way better counselor who is empathetic, informational, considerate and understanding.

I went through EAP at the end of my 6 visits he left me a voicemail threatening me that I needed to continue and start paying for my visits and that I could not stop after my free visits. This was summer 2018 it has taken years and other therapy for me to get to the point to share this review. He should have his license taken away.
