Our salesman Craig was great, very professional and brought plenty of samples to choose from. A couple of scheduling changes and an unfortunate and unnecessary heated conversation that could have easily been avoided with a phone call. When you receive a call on a Sunday evening from an unknown number and person and theyve been told to start work one day prior to the scheduled date, thats a problem. Ultimately the plumbers, Matt and Michael, were on time, performed the disconnect and sink removal very quickly and did a great job the day after the counters were installed with installing the new faucets and drains. Zack and his partner did an excellent job installing the new sinks and counters. Beautiful fit and finish without damaging any drywall. We couldnt have been more pleased with the finished product! Overall, it was a great choice! In less than a day and a half both bathrooms done and beautiful. They cleaned up after the installation and, except for a little dust from the cutting, you wouldnt know they were there. We had bids for over four times the cost we paid. I dont see how anyone could be disappointed. Thanks to Granite Transformations for an awesome job!

The expert installer (Joe) provide solid surface to our bathtub decking, new cabinetry counter top (and installed new under counter sinks), and our tile shower with bench seat complete with new new corner shelves for shampoo bottles.This is the 3rd job we have had done by Granite Transformations and not once have we been disappointed. The scope of this last job was immense and it was met with the appropriate expertise and attention to detail by a true professional.Call them for your project - you won’t be disappointed!

Update: Dan has requested that I update or take down my negative review at least 5 times. I did tell him I would write an update when the job was finished.In September 2021, this job was finally finished. Over the course of the 3 months since my original review, I do think that Dan improved his tone when speaking with customers, and I think he finally started to understand that no customer wants to hear excuses, they want to hear solutions. This will go a long way in improving his customer service.Does the kitchen look good? Yes, they came out and made all necessary corrections that could be made. The one thing that couldnt be fixed (the bottom cabinet they built is too large so the counter doesnt have any overhang) is something my inlaws can live with.Would I use them again? No. The selling point of using Granite Transformations was that it was only supposed to take a week. It took from Feb. 2021 to Sept. 2021 to finish the job. Its not cheaper than new cabinets, its just more Eco-friendly and supposedly faster. I would consider having cabinets resurfaced again, but not by this company.I stand by my original review, with the update that, eventually, Dan did make it as right as possible, and that I do believe his customer service skills improved.Original review: If you just need counters, this might be an ok place. However, if you want to resurface cabinets and do counters, avoid this business.I contacted them in Dec. 2020 to refresh the kitchen of a home my inlaws purchased in Vancouver (before they had moved here). Work began in Feb. 2021. There were issues with nearly every step of the process. Some were acts of God (snowstorm), but there was never timely communication about when/if they would be showing up. Others were issues with materials--the countertop cracked and we had to wait for a replacement. Others were communication (despite changing the main contact to my father-in-law multiple times, everyone continues to call me, which just delays the process).The people doing the work were often told different information/instructions than what we agreed would be happening. This resulted in wasted materials (counter material put up the walls when we had tile to be installed as the backsplash, previous backsplash not removed before cabinet resurfacing resulting in an area of cabinet that didnt get resurfaced) and more frustration. Every step of the way, Dan was sure to tell us why he, as the business owner, was not responsible for the error.Keli (office manager) would work toward a solution and then Dan (owner) would step in and mess it up by changing the process, interfering with communication, or insulting me by telling me that what I saw happen did not happen. If I say a person didnt show up, they didnt show up (probably because he told them the wrong day/time). If I say a job was not done according to the order, it wasnt. As the business owner, Dan should know how to work with his customers, and he clearly does not. The best thing he could do for this business is NEVER speak to a customer.The work was mostly finished in mid-March, except that there were a few things that needed to be addressed. We made the company aware of all of this in March in an email with detailed notes and pictures, and we were told wed have to wait for the glass doors to come in.We didnt hear from anyone again until late June when they of course called me. Dan wanted pictures of the problem areas (which I had sent in March). Because of summer travel we couldnt get those to him right away. Today, July 8, Dan left me a very rude message saying that if we didnt want him to finish the job then hed consider it done and we should probably pay the invoice, as if WE are the reason this job still is not done and the invoice (which he hasnt even SENT us) has not been paid.For this cost, we could have had a new kitchen installed. I was trying to be eco-friendly, and I am so disappointed I cant leave a good review so others are encouraged to try it.

The install date had to be postponed but the company more than made up for it. The salesman was great but not pushy. The office manager was personable and professional. The template appointment was efficient as was the install. The guys were prossional and friendly. I will recommend Granite Transformations without hesitation.

Granite Transformations helped us with a successful remodel of our master bath. It was a huge effort involving the replacement of tile on our counters around the jacuzzi and updating the cabinets. They were very professional and did a marvelous job coordinating all of the workers in just a few days to full completion. Kate gave us great designing advice which helped us make good decisions. The results are absolutely stunning! All of the staff including Dan made certain that we were completely satisfied. It was economical since we did not have to pay for a huge tear out of the old counters and cabinets. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

We replaced 2 bathroom countertops. They did a great job and were very friendly. They did get a little glue on one of counteracts. I did not care for the plumbers that they used. They were not friendly and were kind of condescending.

We recently replaced our kitchen appliances and had a minor issue with the installation of our new slide in range fit that required a modification of the existing counter top at the back of the range and base of the back splash. Our counter top was installed by Granite Transformation about 14 yrs ago and I called them to see if they could assist with the removal of about 2-1/2 inches of the counter top. I spoke with Kelly and she had a couple of their installation guys (Zach & Ryan) come out and address this issue. They did an outstanding job making the modification and were courteous, professional and timely. High praise for the customer service and thankful for the service that Granite Transformations extended to us.and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

This is the 2nd time Ive used Granite Transformations to replace my kitchen countertops. I highly recommend them if you want minimal downtime in using the kitchen and hardly any clean up after installation.

The best!! Very professional, very reasonably priced and the finished work is BEAUTIFUL!!! Its been almost a year and we still LOVE every aspect of it. The workers that came to the house were so nice & polite and cleaned up everything, we really appreciated it. We had an open kitchen and invited everyone in the condo to see the work, and everyone thought it was amazing- it looked so totally granite! The only thing we dont understand about this company (and they are nationwide) is why they dont advertise on HGTV!!! Every time someone walks into a kitchen and complains about the countertops my husband and I scream GRANITE RESTORATIONS to the TV. Same for bathrooms that the house hunters dont like! This would be a no-brainer for the company!!

I had GT do my kitchen counters years ago. When I decided to gut my master bathroom, I went GT. Kelly helped me a ton throughout the whole process. She is the glue of the organization. Dan, the owner was very involved from start to finish. Joe, the head installer, is very conscientious and does good work. I was very please with all the subcontractors that Dan works with. I chose a curbless shower and specific cabinets to be built, all turned out beautifully.

Just like another review I read on this site, I was generally happy with the basic product and look of my kitchen, but there was a problem they created on my floor where the wood finish was stripped and I have had over six weeks of run-around and non-responsiveness by the owner, Dan. The person in the office, Kelly, says she is trying to get them organized to fix the issue, but it has been unbelievable frustrating. Constant promises to contact me, take care of it, but then no follow through. I may have to take them to court, which makes me very sad. I would like to recommend this company, but sadly, unless they step up and do whats right to repair their mistakes, I cannot.

In addition to stellar work and transforming dated into modern, it was great to have a plumbing company provided.

Experience with installer was outstanding. He and his helper were so polite and caring and careful in our home. The plumber that unhooked and hooked up the plumbing and gas range was very, very good. All in all it was an enjoyable experience and we will definitely recommend Granite Transformations.

They did a nice job on our countertops and I would recommend for that but had them come in for refacing our kitchen cabinets (medium size kitchen) and got a quote for about 14 grand. So the average pricing on their website is way understated.

I love my counter tops they turned out beautiful is exactly what I was looking for. The installers were on time, polite and very friendly and did a great job. When my sink came in it was broken so they had to do the install in 2 days but they went out of the way to get me the earliest possible date to finish the kitchen what I thought was was great. I like that they did everything from the beginning to the end I didnt have to worry about a plumber or removing the old countertops which made this a very easy project for me would definitely recommend them.

We had a Quartz counter top installed over our old laminate top. The installers did a good job with minimal mess though the adhesive they used was quite toxic smelling. Comparing to solid Granite tops the cost is about the same but the convenience of getting the Granite Transformations top installed in one day is really what sold us on this product. All in all looks good, far better than the old chipped and scratched laminate top we had. One thing I thought should have been as part of the installation was a follow up call or survey which wasnt done until months later with this email review. Kind of felt like a hit and run with the installation but other than that my Wife and I are satisfied.

We are very pleased. The craftsman that installed our countertops was truly an artist. We did a remodel on an 1955 home and the countertops were not perfectly square. By the time Granite Transformations finished the installation of our new stone, it looked perfect. We are very pleased and love the product and the workmanship.

The price was the lowest of 4 bids and the entire project (kitchen counters including a buffet and bathroom counter) was done in one day. Everything was taken care of (with the exception of purchasing 2 faucets) including contracting with a plumber for both spaces. We love the selection of patterns and found one that was better than any wed spent a lot of time visiting several wholesalers to try to find. My wife was upset with me that I had asked for a bid from Granite Transformations because she thought it would be cheap and unacceptable...but quickly changed her mind when she saw what GF had to offer. Great experience overall... Enjoyed the sales process and found the installation fascinating, efficient and to exceed expectations. I am not very thrilled with the seams. When I called to understand what options we have, we received a very quick referral to the agreement and a basic shut down to the concern. We love the look and quality..though we are surprised that the materials do stain!!! We are very mindful of any wine, or colorful spices that may make contact with the surface--the materials are not completely stainproof. So..basically pleased... but realize that it isnt particularly better than solid materials and the staff isnt open to questioning concerns.

Granite Transformations helped us select a great granite counter top for our office cabinets. We found that their installed product was superior to the samples. We are very pleased with the result.

The job took very little time and there virtually wasnt any mess. The installers verified times they would be at our home and they were prompt. We have only had the countertops for about 3 weeks so havent had the opportunity to abuse them. Although preparing a large Thanksgiving meal could have been a good test.

Had countertops and backsplash done in kitchen and 3 baths, fireplace resurfaced and 900sf. Of tile installed by original owner and the services were great. Now we have a repair issue and the new owner is unwilling to make repair, he has come up with every excuse he can think of including saying that his tile expert thinks it’s a structural issue even though no one has looked at the floor. So I filed a complaint and he responded in writing that sense he purchased the business they have not done flooring yet he says he has a tile expert that has awards. Excuses and lies from the owner is all I have gotten. I guess a lifetime warranty does not amount to anything and definitely does not cover there installation work. Had another company actually come look at the flooring and he was shocked that they would not fix a very obvious installation defect. Don’t use this company

These guys did a great job. While things started a bit slowly, it was a cost-effective and well managed project that got just the results we wanted - along with key advice and learnings along the way. Thanks to Dan, Janice and the crew!

I would recommend this company, very trust worthy, I love my kitchen and utility granite tops. They are very professional, if they would be late 5 minutes they were on the phone telling you so. It took one day after the measuring and it was done. Want to do bathrooms next.

The product, process, and finished look was not as it was described to me in the sales pitch. The installation was sloppy. I wasted hours following up to fix mistakes, and STILL have to months later (tons of spots with caulk smudges left behind? Come on. Its very easy to wipe this off while the caulking is wet but after it dries it will be hard to remove without damaging the surface). The product is cheap – Ive already had to schedule additional repairs for chips despite being very careful with these countertops. I should expect to be able to use my kitchen functionally, not be afraid of damaging it so easily. I did not get what I paid for, or what I was promised, and am very unhappy. Frankly I should have asked for a discount/refund on at least part of it. Now that Ive seen the poor quality and craftsmanship, Im concerned about the longevity of these countertops and having to re-do them within the next couple years, therefore also affecting the brand new tile and paint job on the walls/cabinets (which were done very well by other contractors). Ill have to settle for leaving a negative public review to warn others from using this service. Id have been better off demo-ing the countertops and replacing it with a quality piece of quartz instead of wasting my time and money and compromising the other work Im doing to the rest of the kitchen. The saying goes – fast, cheap, and good, choose two. Well, I dont think I got any of those three things in the end. Save yourself some stress and do it the hard way by replacing your countertops altogether with a solid material. You will be much happier.

Absolutely love my new countertops. From the first initial contact to the finished countertops everything was great. Your installers were courteous and conscientious of the area they were working on. They even wiped down the outside of the cupboards when they were finished.

Installed new quartz countertops and backsplash in kitchen. Great experience from beginning to end. Craig did a good job on the estimate and Juan and Rudy completed the detailed measurements and did the final install. A couple of minor wrinkles with materials and weather delays but GT handled it all well. The result is amazing and far exceeds my expectations - and I am picky. Juan is a true perfectionist and I cant find one flaw in the job or anything he could have done better. Highly recommend.

They forgot to order our tile & made no effort to follow the contracted timeline! No one knew who was doing what & the owner couldnt have been more awkward! A temp was left to install a shower pan & screwed up the drain ruining my kitchen ceiling!! One small shower 2 counter tops = 1 Month & almost 10,000 dollars?!Matt with Aquifer Plumber was an expert and saved my house from disaster & I will say that the individuals that worked the installation were professional. The new owner is incompetent... consider yourself warned.

My new granite countertops are beautiful and the process is so much easier than conventional remodeling (tearing out existing counters to replace with granite). Office staff and sales staff are very friendly and helpful. It took only an hour or two to create a template. About 3 weeks later, Juan and Ben installed the new granite countertops and backsplashes in one day. They did an outstanding job and are excellent craftsmen. They are also friendly and very professional. I am really happy with my new countertops and highly recommend this company.

We had a great experience with Granite Transformations! We had our kitchen countertop done by them on April 10, 2017 in Vancouver. Juan and Sabin were our installers and they were EXCELLENT! Both of them were friendly, professional and did a fantastic job installing our granite countertop and cleaning up afterwards. We couldnt be more pleased and I would recommend them any day.We also had Matt and Michael (plumbers) to disconnect and reconnect our stove and sink/dishwasher/disposal. They also were both EXCELLENT! We had them install a new sink, faucet and disposal and we couldnt be more happy with the work they did for us.We would have all four of these guys back any day to do work for us in a heartbeat. I wish all contractors were as great as these four were for us.

In 2011, we visited some friends who just had a kitchen remodel. it was stunning, and I complemented them on the beautiful granite countertops, and asked if they had to reinforce their floors to bear the weight of the granite slabs. No, they said, because it wasnt slab granite so weight was not an issue. It was, they said, a far superior product made from granite. I was amazed and had to be convinced. They told us about Granite Transformations, and we were so impressed we followed up, did our own due diligence and had GT do new countertops in our kitchen. That was over six years ago, and we are still as happy with our kitchen as we were when it was first installed. One of the best features is that GT countertops are not porous because they arent slab granite. All it takes to keep them looking good is wiping off. We havent found anything that stains these countertops, not coffee, not marinara sauce, not taco sauce. It always comes off! Also, the installation was perfect. One thing we like is that the crew that handles the countertops are employees who really know their product and are experienced. They were able to handle the unanticipated things that always occur on projects like this. In our case, our backsplash didnt cooperate as expected, but no problem, they went to plan B and all was well. So, this past year we decided to have GT do our bath--new countertops, fixtures and a new shower stall. Just like the first time, everything went smoothly. They finished the installation, cleaned up and we have never had to have them back for anything, (which was also true for our kitchen project). We really like the relative absence of seams and especially grout in our shower because they use the same sheet materials as they do for counter tops, just much larger sheets. The corners are joined and sealed with a modern sealant that is scarcely visible. It looks great and we love it. I would hire them again without any reservations whatever. One of the best consumer product investments ever and we are well into senior citizenship so weve had a lot of experience with several homes weve had.

On time and did what they said they would do. Things look beautiful now.

My wife, JoAnn and I had an excellent experience with Granite Transformations. Our first meeting with Craig Allen was informative and very helpful. He explained the prosess and the time frame. Aiden then came and constructed the template.Excellent work. Approx. 2 weeks later the plumber arrived to remove the sink and an hour later Aiden and Orlando arrived to do the install... They install the new granite sink...then the countertop...seal the seams...clean the area...and are finished... Aiden and Orlando were very professional and easy to work with and provided much information about the care of our new counters. We are so pleased...( Just in time for thanksgiving day with the children)!
