My sister inherited my brothers 1994 Trans Am and he hadnt driven it much at all over the years. It was having a lot of problems so we took it to bassitts to have them check it out. Multiple small problems but also had cracked heads.They took care of everything and it runs great now. So glad to still have it in the family. Jamie and Bill were wonderful to work with. I totally recommend them.

The staff are always professional, informative and friendly. Special shot out to Jamie who is always willing to try and schedule me into their already tight schedule. Despite living closer to Gresham, I have used Bassitt for last three years; they are a company I trust and therefore worth the time & travel distance. In an occupation that seems to attract sharks and piranhas, Bassitt is a refreshing business that is trustworthy and professional.

Jamie mad the crew were very responsive. They made a repair that was sensible. I feel very good about dealing with them. I will go back next time I need help. I do my own repairs mostly but they have significantly more experience and know-how.

First of all these guys got me in as quick as possible and when I walked in the place looked like a 50s dinner! I love that! It was super clean which says a lot and they were attentive and super nice and very efficient. I took it in to trouble shoot the air-conditioning problems I was having and they checked everything for me and cleaned my battery too. Prices were super fair as well. I will definitely keep coming here

My wife and I took her RX8 to Herzog-Meier Mazda in Beaverton. I told the customer service rep I put a new battery in the vehicle, but there still seemed to be an electrical issue with the car. I asked if they would do a draw test to see if the alternator or starter was the problem. The rep didnt know what a draw test was. After he spoke with a technician, the customer service rep advised they could do a draw test for $150.We left, drove to Bassitt Auto on 18115 Baseline, and advised them of our problems with the car. That day we received two calls from Bassitt customer service to make sure they understood the exact symptoms my wife had experienced. When we picked the car up, we discovered it was not the alternator or the starter; instead, it was a loose battery cable causing the problem. Charge, $60.00.

Bassitt did a great job. They called in the morning, explained what they did and what they found. Then reviewed the planned fix and next steps, as well as associated costs. When they called again, my car was done. No upselling, no pressure. Quick and easy. I appreciate their friendliness and the inside of the waiting area is so inviting.

My mustang was throwing Check Engine Light and making a low pitch whining noised. Took it into Bassett Auto Repair and they called me the next morning and had scanned the computer codes and told me what the problem was, how much, and it would be ready the next day. Picked it up and car ran perfect. Everyone in the front office was extremely professional and friendly. Their Mechanical Technicians are the best. I will trust Basset to all my vehicles, especially my restored 1974 Ford Truck. Yes, they do work on the older vehicles, hard to find a place that will nowadays. Five stars! Very professional from start to finish.Toyota dealership says timing cover has a oil leak and it would cost $5500 after they replaced Oil coil line and alternator $1600. I wanted a 2nd opinion and Bassitt was recommended by a friend. Jamie and the team verified and He assured me that there was no leak from the timing cover or other area. Did a full inspection before my appointment and they did found a small leak on the radiator but its not a urgent need. I did not feel any pressure at all so I decided to pursue the radiator repair before it become a big issue.Jamie and the team just earn my trust and I highly recommend to anyone that are searching for honest and trustworthy mechanics!

They replaced brakes on my old ‘68 pickup. They also made a free adjustment to the choke so it now starts up right away every time. Great service and communication. This will easily be my go to for repairs in the future.

Work was satisfactory, team was able to accommodate my appointment request earlier then I anticipated, solutions were cost effective and work was finished in time,i got regular calls to check on things which need my attention.One area of improvement is cleaning after work, i can feel oil smell inside my cabin and steering was also not cleaned after work as my hands were blacked with oil and dirt, work and cost wise no complaint and i also got good discount on my overall cost.

They were extremely professional. They had our suburban in the day after I spoke with them. Within 24hrs of getting the truck they had it looked at as promised and gave us a diagnosis. Jamie was incredible! I don’t know diddly-squat about cars and Jamie had no problem explaining to me what was needing repaired. He did so in a timely fashion and I felt complete trust in what he was charging me for. It’s safe to say if my car ever needs work done, I will be turning to Jamie.

Absolutely Fantastic experience! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Craig while Jamie was out last week. (Craig came out of semi-retirment to fill in and support some time off for his staff during this time of limited staffing.)My car was having an electrical issue and despite the heavy work load they got me in the queue, and the lead mechanic Jack quickly diagnosed and addressed the issue. Craig called me up and patiently explained what they did with as much detail as I desired.The evening I went to pick it up there were a couple minor issues...A point of sale system error and one of my minor electrical peripherals wasnt working (which I myself didnt even notice till I got home) And while I could have been annoyed by them...when I returned, Craig was so quick, polite, and insistent to correct them beyond my satisfaction that I was instead impressed.I dont think I have had a better customer service experience. Bassit Auto will have my business for any future car repair/service needs.

I have been to Bassit Auto 3 times. The first time they were communicative and pleasant and changed my faulty sensor promptly. Within days the same problem occurred due to that sensor being a lemon. They replaced the sensor the next day at no charge. 22 months later my truck had a similar issue. I took my truck in and they found the same sensor failed again and they replaced it that same day as part of the warranty at no charge. They have definitely earned my trust. I am impressed with and appreciate how they do business and will be returning in the future.

I took my car in on Monday afternoon and received my car back the next day. I was having trouble starting my manual and Jaime kept me updated and took the time to explain what was wrong and what he needed to do, not starting unless I approved. I was referred here from my parents. All they did was a diagnostic for my car. They definitely were able to determine a lot more about my car than I thought they could. They even checked things I didnt even ask them to. They actually didnt recommend I have them do any work on my car, which doesnt make them anymore money. They did this because my car is too worn out and old to be worth the money. I appreciated the honesty. They did exactly what they promised, for the price they quoted. I recommend them if you need mechanical work.

I have taken my wifes vehicle to them prior and yesterday my Toyota Avalon had an issue they found the issue and fixed it in a few hours. Wouldnt take my vehicles anywhere else.Update 8/16/2021 - wont take my vehicles anywhere else. My wifes mother passed and at the same time her SUV had a sprk plug go bad, they brought her in and quickly did the tune up so she could get on her way safely and without additional worries. I recently dropped off my Camaro for service due to some serious lagging and interesting sounds coming from the engine at Bassitt. First of all, the staff is very friendly and easy to work with. The cost to give the car a full eval was very reasonable as well. Turns out the engine reached its life and repairs were much more expensive than the car was worth. So sad. With the bad news and the larger burden of trying to figure out a new car, Bassitt waived all fees and offered to help in anyway they could. Great people, great business, check it out if you are looking for a trust worthy mechanic!!

Had to have my car towed to the shop over the weekend while they were closed, and early Monday morning they told me they’d try to check it out by the end of the day but they weren’t sure they’d have time because of other work that came before mine. By 1pm same day they called me to let me know what was wrong with my car and by 4pm they had it fixed! Absolutely wonderful. Thank y’all so much.

Not the cheapest shop but one of the easiest and friendliest to work with. Location is very convenient as its close to the Max line and they will call you an Uber if you need to get to somewhere.Schedule appointment, drop car off, they call with their diagnosis. Approve whatever work you want them to do. Pick up and pay.The only odd thing about the shop is that they have AAA Approve signage hanging off their sign, but inside the shop there is a note that they are no longer a AAA Approved shop and will not give AAA discount.

He gave Bassitt thumbs up on being clean, organized and ALL the guys we saw as we passed thru to look at my car on the rack, were nice. Never heard any F bombs (my pet peeve) coming out of their mouths as they talked. Good job, and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Bassitt Auto to anyone.

I had a check engine light come on after having extensive repairs done, Jammie got it all sorted for me in just a few hours... One of my plug wires they replaced for me almost 2 years ago had fried out, but he told me it was still under warranty and sent me home no charge. I will never NOT recommend Bassitt to anyone that needs a shop.
