All I can say is, WOW! I was a bit skeptical at first because it looked like a smaller shop, but there were great reviews on google, angies list, and yelp so I figured it couldnt hurt to at least write an email inquiry. I sent my first email at 9pm at night, and I received a response from Jon before 10pm that very same night! The email was very thoughtful, detailed, and answered my questions completely. After bouncing back and forth a few more email questions, I decided to take my truck to Jon in person to have him give me a detailed quote on the work. Jon was great to work with, and his business partner Kenny was top notch as well! They gave me a very fair price for the work so we went ahead and committed. Jon really knocked it out of the park, the work included even more features than we originally talked about, and he came in UNDER budget! When was the last time someone ever gave you more than you asked for and charged you less than you expected? It just doesnt happen these days, but that is what I received from Sparks Garage. I just picked up my truck this week, and I have ALREADY recommended Jon and Sparks Garage to 3 different friends and family members. If you are in the market for something they can do here, you would be silly not to STRONGLY consider Jon and Sparks Garage. Jon undertook a difficult job on the electrical system of my unusual car. He listened to what I already knew of the problem and persisted until the issue was corrected. We communicated via email and he provided me with status updates and even pictures of the repairs as things progressed. I couldnt be happier with the quality of the work and the value. I will certainly use his services again in the future.
Called my dealership to get something fixed on my car so I could get it through DEQ (Had the codes from DEQ) Dealership couldnt get me in for over a week and a half, found Sparks near me and gave them a call. Super friendly over the phone and he told me he could get me in 2 days later. Took the car over, popped the hood and spotted the issue within about 30 seconds. Mentioned I was having problems with my stereo as well (Saw on the website that he also dealt with audio) He fixed both problems and had my car for about 4 hours. Super friendly, good price. Will def give them a call if I need anything else done.
Let me start by saying I know nothing about cars. Its always intimidating for me to reach out to people who do know about cars, because I have no way of knowing whether or not Im getting jerked around, upsold, or being given bad information.However, I could tell, right away, that that was not the case with John. I left a message figuring Id get a call back in a few days but was called back within the hour. He talked me through the problem and then told me what he thought the issue might be over the phone. He said he had time the next day if I wanted to come by and have him take a look. I stopped by, he looked around for the problem with my autostart, found the issue and fixed it immediately. He explained how he did it (in terms I understood) and he made me feel very comfortable the entire time.It was such an unusual experience to have someone looking at my car treat me like I wasnt an idiot while still explaining things in terms I understood. He wasnt annoyed or impatient, but instead helpful and understanding. I would go to him with any sort of car issue because I know that if he couldnt fix it, he would recommend someone who would treat me the same way he did - and Ive only known him for half an hour.If I could give more than 5 stars I would - highly recommend giving them a call.
Echoing everything written in previous reviews. Jon worked with me for a week to source the right gear then completed the installation in one evening. He started at 5:30pm to accommodate my busy schedule. Professional, curious, calm, with a genuine aptitude for customer service.
Well that was a very pleasant and painless experience. My wife gave me a Sony car stereo unit for Christmas (Sony XAV-AX100). It was released in Dec 2016 and she bought it online at Crutchfield, I bought a backup camera and then I went to Best Buy and asked for an estimate what it would cost to install the car stereo and the backup camera . They gave me an estimate of between 310 and 350,. To get some comparisons I called around and when looking up installers I found Sparks Garage where all reviews had 5 stars. I called the place and Jon answered. I asked if he sold speakers because I wanted to replace the original speakers as well. 400 for everything. Everything has been installed and it works very well. Jon even installed a toggle switch since I use headlights 24/7 and the auto dimmer that will show either daylight map mode or night time map mode after I said I didnt like to drive without the lights on but if I did it would always show night mode navigation. So now I have a switch where I can set the type of navigation I want (I use Android Auto with Google Maps). Jon even gave me a ride to work which is 4.5-5 miles one way. So I could not choose anything but 5 stars.
