Had some water damaged pergo laminate floors, used Active Restoration to pull up the pergo laminate floors and put down new Luxury Waterproof Vinyl flooring - glued down style, not click.They did an absolutely AMAZING job! The guys that did the removal of the old flooring and install of the new flooring were ridiculously good. The quality of the work was top notch. They made sure every single aspect was right. Very detailed oriented, even the little things I never noticed or thought about.Both of the installers seemed to know exactly what they were doing. Especially the lead installer guy. They answered any questions I had as well. Ive hired a lot of contractors to do misc. work on my house over the years, but these guys are the real deal. Couldnt have asked for more. Whatever you guys pay the installers, they deserve at least 50% more! Theyre the best Ive EVER worked with.Attached pics to show their work. I called thinking that the company could identify leaks and then repair the drywall. The evaluator, James, arrived on time. However, he explained to me that the company repairs areas where leaks may have occurred. His job was not to fix water problems. He was very courteous and professional. I was not charged a fee for his visit. This company is obviously very honest. I will use them when I need the drywalls replaced.

We have recently used Active for major renovation including matching ceiling patterns, wall and ceiling repairs, large scale painting and floor replacement with vinyl planks and carpet. Exceptional quality, affordable prices, professional, knowledgeable and very friendly employees. Moved furniture around with care, ensured min dust impact, including cutting boards outside. With Covid /after Covid isolation overload, we ran into schedule delays but final product was worth waiting.

Showed up late every day, turned off equipment but left it for days when it was still needed. Said they would remove laminate flooring, didn’t show up with the tools to do so, assured it would dry out. It did not, now there is black mold. Left baseboards wrapped up in my bath mat inside my shower. DNR.

Active came in and replaced all the flooring and much of the walls following a flood in the house. I thought they were the best group of contractors that I have worked with in all of the time I have owned a house. They took great care in the quality of their work and were totally honest in every aspect of the project - not deviating a cent from their original estimate. In addition, all of the people who were in the house working were great to have around. They will definitely be my company of choice from now on.

This Julian Moore, my wife and I had Active Restoration do the major construction for our kitchen remodel. They were excellent at the demolition and cleaned up everyday after completing their work. Their foreman, Gary was easy to work with and properly addressed any issues we had. Our kitchen is wonderful and Active was a major reason for the result. After several days of being at hospital with Grandma and her resulting death, came home to 13 inches of water in the basement at midnight. Gary responded that night when called. He made an evaluation and had a team at my house at 9am the next day. They did a great job getting things off the floor and starting drying process as well as immediately removing items that could not be salvaged. Follow up appointment was scheduled after my work hours. Very professional and detailed. Would recommend this company to anyone needing their services.

After making a ton of calls to warranty and homeowner insurance companies I decided to just take the matter into my own hands and boy am I glad I called them. Not only did they take the time to come out at no charge, they inspected everything. After inspecting the guy asked if I wanted his advice on what to do. He explained to me what to do and about how much it would cost to do it. I highly recommend this company and if I ever have an issue in the future I will be calling them first.

Excellent service! Our dining room flooded due to some exterior wall damage during a storm. The team at Active Restoration took care of the flood damage quickly and got our home back in shape. After a flood from a failed sump pump I needed help with the restoration. I got a quote from a popular water mitigation company and was quoted $6K. I decided to take on the project myself. However, after going to Home Depot and Lowes I quickly figured out everyone else was having the same problem. I was told to call this company and they would be able to help. Mr. Griffin came by, dropped off four fans and gave me lots of advice! He took some moisture measurements and was able to point me in the right direction. This customer service from this company was outstanding!! I would highly recommend this company and if I ever need this service again (fingers crossed I dont!) I will!

From the first call i was impressed with this company. Cheyenne was very helpful in getting james out to look at the scope of work to be completed. Within hours he had a crew out that works on water mitigation, to protect from further damage. They removed water logged insulation and tile also sealed up a hole for a temporary fix. And working with the insurance company the other vendor who was supposed to come out for an estimate never even showed so I went with this company; every time I had a question they were quick to answer them they did great work and I would recommend to anyone

I was thoroughly impressed with the integrity and honesty of this company. After being told we had a major mold problem in our basement by another company (who wanted to charge us a lot), I wanted a second opinion and was given a referral to Active Restoration from a friend. James came to my home, took time to show me what he found, explained in great detail how mold grows and spreads, etc. With his input, it became quite clear the previous company was using scare tactics to try to earn our business. Not only did James explain that our mold issue was in fact a minor one, he gave me step by step instructions how to handle it on my own. Its hard to find a company that will actually be so truthful that it will even talk you out of hiring them, but thats exactly what James did. Its my hope that I never need to hire a restoration company but, should that need ever arise, I know exactly who Im going to call.

Although I did not have any damage to my apartment floor, it was very old and needed new carpet badly. Active Restoration removed and disposed of the old carpet (nasty) and replaced it with great high quality carpet they had left over from another job. I got a deal on the carpet and the installation and it has improved the apartment remarkably. They were able to take care of the whole job without me even being involved and I loved that. I highly recommend Active Restoration, they really know how to take great care of their customers!

I met with James upon the recommendation of a friend. James was very professional and honest. He has outstanding customer service skills and didnt try to sell me on something I didnt need to do in my home. I will definitely recommend this company and/or use them if the need ever arises.

My house was struck by lightning and busted a pipe under my sink. It flooded my whole house. Active restoration came in and dried out my house and tore up the flooring and the baseboards (that part they were really good at), the restoration part not so much. They damaged my end table and had to fix it, ruined a rug and had to replace it. They were planning on leaving my bathroom torn up with no baseboards. The professional painter that came out got paint all over my newly replaced flooring (why they put the flooring down before painting, Im not really sure). They also left my floor to ceiling window open while I was at work and someone could have broken in. The one owner called me a liar and was very rude. It took way longer than it shouldve for the repairs (well over 6 months, because of additional issues they caused). Most of them are friendly, but their work is not good. I would NOT recommend them.

I have not used active restoration for my homes but I have seen their work on other jobs and Im very impressed. When something bad happens to someones home it can be a stressful time and there are a lot of people who might want to take advantage of a person in that situation for their benefit. The people at Active Restoration truly care about the people they work with and work hard to make sure that they are doing the right thing for their customers. If something happened to my home they would be the first people that I called.

Needed an estimate on mold remediation for a property that sat vacant for over a year. Insurance was a pain, so I only figured that getting this done would be a chore as well. Met with James G. on the 8th of November, prompt and professional upon meeting. After inspecting the premises he suggested that I could save a hefty amount of money if I attacked the project myself. He proceeded to give me directions on how to remedy the mold as well as the materials I would need. After doing some research into what I would need I can safely and honestly say that James is saving me thousands of dollars on this project by being truthful with me. The guys at Active Restoration are amazing! I recommend their service to everyone. My husband is currently deployed with the Air Force and my job requires me travel. I went out of town during one of the biggest freezes Ohio has seen and of course disaster hit. A pipe burst in our main level living area and flooded the floor. I called multiple companies but was put on a 1 to 2 week waiting listing to even come and look at the damage more or less start cleaning. I then called Active Restoration and they were on site the next day even when they were swamped with appointments! They worked with my neighbors to coordinate times to come in and dry out the the water, and they also repaired all the damage. When I walked back into my house it looked as if nothing ever happened! I am truly blessed to have come into contact with these guys, they are like I said earlier, but I will say it again...amazing!!

I had a lot of water damage in the basement of one of my rental properties due to a faulty relief valve on the hot water heater. The water was about a foot deep at one point. Active restoration of Beavercreek, Ohio came in and cleaned everything up and dried out the basement. There was a large amount of laundry in the basement that was damaged and they made a list of all the damaged clothes and put it on a flash drive for the tennant so that they could go over it to file a claim with their insurance companyThe tennant and I, the owner, were both very pleased with the speed and thoroughness of the clean-up. They never showed for our scheduled appointment. After calling them to ask if they would be showing at all they said wed have to reschedule for another day.
