I have been patronizing this location for years and I must say within the last year, the customer service experience at the store has not been well due to a sales representative, Diana. Diana targets my mother and I every time we come into the store and she is been rude. Whenever we need a task performed, she appears to be very perplexed and rushes our shopping experience. Today, I asked her why she was so unkind to me and she stared at me with disdain and said “I don’t know what upkeep talking about”. It is so bad, that I have previously vocalized my unhappiness with the stores supervisor. I try my hardest not to have contact with her when I come into the store, but today she was the only one who performed the service I needed done today. As much as I patronize this store and love working with the other employees there, I must say that she makes me never want to enter the store again. She is not a good sales representative nor do I believes she upholds and values the core values of Office Depot.
I bought some H.P. ink refills branded Office Depot. I installed them in the printer but they would not work. Took them back and because they were over 30 days old and I did not bring the receipt with me they would not issue a credit even though the cartridges were Office Depot branded tough luck for me. I will buy the printer ink from Staples from now on, they are cheaper and they deliver. See ya Office Depot.Herb Murray
I have to be honest - my last two experiences at the print center with Diana have been the worst retail encounters Ive had in 20 years. After she matter-of-factly told me that she got rid of the old staff, and curtly told me that I didnt qualify for a discount that Id received for over 18 months, I was pretty put off. As an aside, the corporate office verified Dianas statements were in fact not true. However, my second interaction with her was far worse than the first. Since Diana will no longer allow me to email files to the store with instruction on how Id like them printed, Im relegated to using a clunky online ordering system where I can put in truncated notes. Both my print jobs were incorrectly printed and Diana informed me it was my error. She begrudgingly reprinted my one order correctly in silence, with not even the slightest iota of an apology for the error, or having me wait for the order to be completed. Instead, so once again informed me that I didnt put any notes in my order. By the time she reprinted my second order, it was still not correct, however I was so appalled at her overall affect, I just took the wrong order and left, promptly throwing the print job in the waste basket outside the store as it couldnt be used.Diana is so off-putting, I quite literally dont feel comfortable coming into this Office Depot location anymore. I dont know what happened to the previous staff that have all been let go by Diana, however do yourselves a favor and PLEASE find them and rehire them. They were kind, knowledgeable, friendly and very prompt. Not to mention they knew how to effectively do their jobs. Im very disappointed in my latest experiences to say the least.
We came in tonight to get some items printed. Another person was in front of us with a fairly complex request. The person helping her was great. Diana was doing something in the back of the printing area and just left us standing there. She then came back and took over for the person helping the other lady and sent the other employee back to the back. At this point, we had been standing there waiting for 15 minutes at least. When I asked her for help, she acted like we were disturbing her and grudgingly took care of us. I have never had service as bad as this in an Office Depot. You dropped the ball on this one, folks!
Online order, notified it was ready to pick up. Order could not be found by the two men in the copy/print department. They were looking and I stepped out to go to another store for 15 minutes. Returned - they stopped looking for the order and left the area. Asked for a refund - or why they just didnt reprint the order - only 12 pages - easy stuff. They decided they could reprint - the young lady (she gets the five stars, the men get 0 stars) found the order tucked under the print order counter. No apologies from them at all - just the excuse of a short staff - well, I could have waited on the order - dont tell me it is done then not have it on the shelf for pick up. We are all short staffed, we are all going through a lot right now. At least treat the customer like they mean something to you.I have had good experience with the print/copy center and in the past they have received five stars.
The girls at the copy&print desk are not qualified. They need more training on how to interact with costumers. Also, they charge two dollars to print one black &white page.
Donna is such a beautiful person. She has taken care of me, with patience, both times I visited the store. I needed multiple printouts! Donna assistws me and made sure everything was printed satisfactory to me.Thank you Donna.
We have shipped packages twice from this store one took 7 weeks to deliver through the post office the other package has not arrived yet and that was sent through FedEx . I was given the wrong recipe so no way to track it . They cant find their copy of my receipt. Im sure that I will not use this office to ship anything else!!
Office Depot offers some great sale prices online. The staff is extremely helpful at picking up my items. I love their coupons.
There staff were kind enough to price match an item for me without any fuzz. This store in particular is up to date with new products also and run sales from time to time. I appreciate there do not push sales on you after already making a final decision.
When I arrived at about 2:00 I was the only customer at the Copy Center and the sales associate assured me that she could indeed complete my project. Unfortunately, almost immediately another customer arrived and she helped her/him. My ignored project sat there for awhile so I decided to shop for a few items that I needed at this store (see first receipt time).Fast forward: when after two hours I noticed “my” associate whispering to one of the other associate about some type of professional concern I decided it was finally time to inquire about the progress of my project. When I walked up the associate stopped talking and I asked, adding that it had been two hours. “Oh? Is there somewhere you need to go?” Then the associate simply “explained” that, “It takes more time for over-sized items to scan.” Finally, she asked the other “associate” if she could step in and finish up the project. I confirmed that I’d appreciate that and the other associate got started.Long story short: the other sales associate turned out to be Donna, the General Manager. When it was finally printing I asked if I could ring up my sale—which included the items I’d picked up when I first entered the store. The GM had no idea how to price the scan or the print, so had to ask the associate. After obtaining that information she told me that the associate had given me “the very best price she could.” Was I supposed to be grateful for that, I wondered?!?Silently, I accepted the price of $17.67 for the print out even though no one had offered me a price (or time!!!) estimate up front. I even paid $4.99 for the scan that they had to do anyway just to complete the project. However, while completing the project in a very quiet voice that no one else could overhear I expressed some my concerns and questions:Me: I understand that over-sized items take longer to scan, but she wasn’t working on it the entire two hours. Why was she diverted to other customers? Why didn’t I receive some dedicated time?GM Donna: I asked her several times if she needed help!Me: As the GM, why didn’t you check on me and ask me why I’d been sitting in that seat for over two hours?GM Donna: I didn’t need to ask you, I asked her.Me: Did I know that? Did you reach out to me to say that you were sorry for the wait? Or to thank me for my patience like you did the customer that waited a total of five minutes? The bottom line is that the problem isn’t about the overworked sales associate who did her best to meet every customer’s needs. The problem is with a GM who doesn’t understand how to do her job. Am I concerned that she didn’t know how to use the Point of Sale to complete my bill? No. My concern is much great than that. My concern is that the GM shouldn’t have knowingly ignored me….for TWO HOURS!!! The GM shouldn’t have asked the sales associate ‘”if” she needed help. Rather, she should have independently assessed the situation and assigned the associate some dedicated time to the completion of my project.Additionally, when GM Donna handed me my receipt she added coupons for a discount on my return visit. I simply handed them back and said that I wouldn’t need them as I wouldn’t be returning. Rather than apologizing about my disappointing experience, she simply walked away, dropping the coupons in the trashcan as she did so. However, four minutes later as she brought my print out to me (told you it didn’t take long in actual time!) she did offer and apology and refunded me for the services they’d rendered (see third receipt).Should it take that long for a GM to realize that a customer has been mistreated, is unhappy and deserves a refund? I think not. I think that corporate needs to think about what’s going on – and more importantly, what’s not going on – in the Beavercreek location. Everything trickles down from management, and what’s trickling down this managers leg has a very bad smell indeed.
Was helped by two lovely ladies gathering a few things before leaving for home again.
This office depot store is clean and well stocked. The staff is always very helpful. Prices are reasonable and when compared to other office stores the prices are right in line
I shop a lot at Office Depot for printer ink, school supplies, printer paper. I have also purchased USB drives and headphones, wireless mice, and a computer desk there. I have consulted them on the purchase of printers and the two men I spoke to seemed very knowledgeable. Their prices I think are competitive and they often have coupons and sales. I also always walk by their clearance area. I have a rewards card there so I get extra deals.
This is my favorite location. The staff is always attentive to their customers. They have a vast selection of supplies, organizers, office equipment, office furniture. They also have school supplies and workbooks. This is a good place for art and office supplies!
Bryan helped me out at the Tech Services kiosk. He was definitely knowledgable and friendly every step of the way. Im glad I got my laptop from here in the first place!
Simply the best print and copy center.
Store was compact. Had all the usual office stuff plus more and staff was helpful
The mature guy was so rude. I dont know if hes the manager, he looked and acted like one. Hopefully, there was a nice young girl witj exeptional custumer service that help me with the selection of my items.
This store has a wall of printer ink for almost any kind of printer. Fantastic!
Super Friendly staff, always clean, fully stocked!
Always have the products I need. They recycle toner cartridges and give you store credit/rewards.
Printing department is too notch. Very knowledgeable and good at what they do!
I found everything i was looking for and the staff was very helpful.
Sales staff is not knowledgeable on their products. I unfortunately took their word on a product and was sold the wrong thing and I missed the 14 day window to return. Now I am stuck with an unusable product!
For school shopping deals some are pretty good. The staff was helpful.
I work here and i love the atmosphere and people all very friendly
Paid for the extended warranty on a Lenovo Tablet. When a problem developed the first thing I heard was that may be due to regular wear and tear its probably a USER CAUSED problem and wont be covered. WELL YOU GOT ME THERE....I DO USE IT.All I had to do was to find the original receipt and they finally (this took weeks) gave me my money back. They could no have been less helpful.Clark Howard is right, extended warrantys are not worth a dime.
The only local office supply store. They normally have what I need and prices are reasonable.
Great store with super helpful employees
The staff is great!
Friendly staff and competitive prices!
Third trip back for a defective Office Depot ink refill that was defective, and it was a total hassle, with receipts. I am a forever customer with no options. After the third visit, I had to convince them it was their crappy product. No apology, no offer to make it right.
Can get everything I need online ar Amazon for 1/2 price.
Good prices on specials.
Sold me a PC with a warranty they said would only be serviced at the store, but when it had an issue, they claimed to never had said that.Avoid this business.
