Do not apply for this place I’m so happy after reading the reviews I decided to go elsewhere these people happily took my application fee twice the first time they did not take my self-employment unless I received a cosigner which was fine I had an agreement with Jenna I got a job check stubs and also the offer letter now prior to that I already felt that they were discriminating against me because of my skin color or the fact that I am self-employed which is very legal here after I got check stubs and everything they looked for something else to try to deny me for. they told me that I had a balance of $1800 out of different apartment which was Complete false information I called Experian which is who they run their credit through and asked about the account and I was told there was no account that existed in my name which I have legal documentation stating that is true I also called the apartment complex that they said I had a balance through and the apartment was never in my name and the person who live there did not live there on the dates that they stated on the paper ! it was a address I used for my school loans when I was a kid ! I do not wish to rent here anymore but I will be reporting them for discrimination, false information and taking my application fee knowing that they were going to deny me. I will make sure that something is done about this situation. I have never had any issues applying for apartments or being approved they were the most difficult people I have ever dealt with and they were only this way because I am self-employed and I am black
The management, even throughout the changes has been pretty good and fairly understanding throughout the pandemic. Maintenance knows what theyre doing, has laundry facilities and a gym, and office that arent bad. For the location and how well they operate the property its not a bad place at all.
This place is a nightmare. Over 3 months ago I notified the landlord that we had squirrels in the walls and ceilings of our apartment that were getting in through a hole they had chewed in the chimney. The hole is clearly visible from our balcony.3 months have passed and I still have squirrels in my walls and ceilings. Every time we talk to the people in the office, they tell us Well try to send someone out when we can.I have had to get an attorney and begin involving the courts to get this issue resolved. Even without the rodents in the walls, its like pulling teeth trying to get maintenance to do their jobs. If you dont live here yet, dont start. Find another place.
They pulled the old bate and switch. They showed us one apartment (not the one wee would be moving into) and said our apartment cabinets and fixtures were all new just like the one they showed us, but when we moved in, the cabinets and bathroom fixtures and shower were all old and rundown along with dozens of small things that needed to be either fixed or replaced. They also moved our move in date back which cost us more money with our movers. When we did the walk through (which they were late to) we showed all of the broken down problems to their attention (the manager Alexis) told us that they will not fix or replace 99% of what we brought up. When we asked for a price revision Alexis lied and said newly remodeled apartments are charged $200 to $300 more but could show no proof. We were recording her and when she realized she was caught in the LIE, she told us either get out or we are stuck with the lease. She gave us one day. They also didnt tell us that the building that we were moving into had previously been half torn down because of a fire due to someone trying to make meth. When I brought this to their attention they said that they werent here when that happened so they dont have to tell us that it happened. I recommend that you fully investigate the exact apartment youll be moving into so you are fully aware of what youre signing up for. Dont let them tell you its exactly the same as the model. You get what you pay for and when you pay for Stonebridge Apartments you pay for a slumlord.
I currently pay almost a 1000 dollars(2 bed bath and a half) to live in an apartment that is falling apart. Need maitenance on a weekend?? Good luck get in contact with them. Management is a joke theyll put a eviction notice on your door if u are a day late for rent. They have attempted to fix my sliding porch door and have failed. They are too cheap to replace it if you have thoughts of living here please have a second thought before leasing. THIS PLACE IS TRASH
We just finished a year lease. Stonebridge provided a home when our family needed it. They were fair on the security deposit as we held to the terms of the contract. Positives: 1. Great location with walking distance to the Greene. 2. There are a lot of kids so our kids were able to make friends. 3. The maintenance staff do a great job. They are responsive and a joy to talk with. Negatives: 1. The place is very dated. 2. You will find that neighbors that dont like kids and will complain if they hear kids playing outside or if someone leaves a toy outside. It is disappointing because many of these people dont clean up after their dogs and have trouble aiming their trash bags in the Waste Management dumps. Frequently, you will find trash all over the ground coming from one of these dumps.
Dont believe the price. You never pay the cheap price they charge. Every month you get extra money. bad management. never come here
STAY AWAY!!!!Maintenance never comes out to fix anything even after calling 100x. Management is rude. They will overcharge you on everything and just when you think you’re good, they hit you with another fee. My fiancé and I have been waiting for our sinks and washer to be fixed for 3 MONTHS NOW.
To begin with the location is nearly ideal, being within walking distance of the Greene complex and right next to Interstate 695 for travel and commuting purposes around the whole greater Dayton area. The covered parking is of particular note for how inexpensive it is.Despite handling a large number of issues for the number of staff they have, and the buildings not being brand new, in my experience they have always addressed and responded to maintenance issues after I’ve placed them. They do routinely refurbish their apartments, grounds, and facilities; they simply haven’t touched all of the apartments yet. They are willing to work with you and create unique solutions for your living needs and unusual challenges. All of the staff behaves professionally, and often plain friendly, and I never had a negative experience with anyone from the office nor maintenance crews.I would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone looking for living needs.
I was going to write a bad review. Because almost 3 months we were waiting for when they would fix our patio door, faucet, blinders. Now everything is done. Result is : fixed patio door, new faucet and new blinders. We are happy 😊. Thank you!
I have lived at Stonebridge not once but twice - Wonderful staff to work with during our stay. Very clean living space! The pool was always a good time as well as a safe atmosphere. VERY animal/family friendly. I would consider moving back if work wasnt so far. 5 Stars =)
WAY TOO MUCH HIDEN FEES...
Dirty, front office not very helpful.
STEER CLEAR. They will nickel and dime you out of everything and will hit you with fees. Poor management, poor communication, overpriced, half of the stuff in the apartment was broken and no one ever came to fix it, and now theyre threatening us with more fees because we decided to leave. Avoid this place at all costs.
I am supposed to move in soon with my boyfriend who has lived here for over a year now. In the last 6 months, his apartment has flooded not once, but TWICE. The first time being the apartment above having their washer overflow and flood his apartment underneath, and all Stonebridge did was give him fans and dehumidifiers. No discount or anything for an issue that he had no control over, yet had water literally falling from his ceiling and leaking from outlets in the wall. I saw the pictures, it was bad. 4 months later his apartment flooded AGAIN. Not only his apartment this time, but 8 apartments total that were in their complexes as both sump pumps had broken after a flash flood. Seeing videos there was literally a layer of water throughout every single room in his unit that he had to walk through. He had to go out and bring someone elses water pump meant FOR A POOL in to the building to start trying to pump water out of his apartment and the lower floor of the complex as it affected other units as well, until that broke too. He had to aggressively fight for his carpets to be replaced as the management here told him they would have to wait and see what it looked like after the dehumidifiers and fans dried it out, even though you could see mold growing in the corners where the wood was and in window sills, and you know- his entire units carpet had been completely soaked and sitting with water in it for between 1 to 2 weeks. After much back and forth and the carpets were finally replaced, they also offered to give a discount on his electric bill since fans and dehumidifiers were running constantly for at least over 10 days but he has not seen that, nor the other promises this management company had made to him about compensation. My boyfriend has been more than patient with this company and given them plenty of opportunities to make things right with him because neither of these circumstances are at fault to him, but as someone who has rented from multiple different rental companies and complexes I find Stonebridge to be irresponsible with promptly taking care of their responsibilities and duties as an apartment complex and they need to stick to their word and treat all of their tenants with respect, as well as prioritize them the way that they expect rent and other bills due to be paid and prioritized by the tenants. This review is entirely of my own and I am writing this because my boyfriend who is the current tenant has been overly patient with Stonebridge in my opinion, but as a renter of companies that actually take care of their tenants this is completely unacceptable behavior that they cant even get back to him about his power bill or the other agreements with compensation that they had made previously.I will be encouraging him to either find a sublease to end his lease early once I am moved in, or if that is not an option we will be moving out after our last months rent.I will also delete this review once Stonebridge follows through on their words with their tenants because I know how bad reviews can affect business, and if there is retaliation towards tenants that have nothing to do with the writing of this review, I will leave it.
Took 200 bucks from my son for administration then completely ghosted out. Didnt respond to emails or calls. I have called the BBB and the general. Dont trust them
They need to fix the dog park, because there are holes and spaces where the gate is loose. The flooring in our kitchen is awful, and curled up around some of the edges, and then theres this random hole between the cabinets and the dishwasher. The pool is nice, and well maintained during the summer. The apartments are pretty quiet.
Bs charges when you move out. During covid they raised the rent and did little to nothing to help those that were effected job wise, all they want $$$ with little to return to its tenants.
I am resident of this apartments. I was renting one BHK and moved to 2BHK few months ago. A/C doesn’t works properly in this newly rented apartment. It’s been a month that I have been complaining on the same and the response I got is, the temperature outside is high and so the house gets warmer. Then what is the use of A/C .?? The temperature inside house reaches above 80F even when it’s set to 65. The maintenance is worst in all areas and they will charge about 120-150 each month for maintenance. I will definitely not recommend anyone to rent apartment here.
One month after moving in, I found bedbugs. Of course there were none there from what I was told by management. I was responsible for the cost of extermination and never got billed. That tells me they were there from the day I moved in. Dont plan on getting the referral bonus. My son moved into an apartment here using me as a referral. Of course they stated they were never told of this. Laundry facility could use a good cleaning. The apartments themselves are very dated. Thin walls. I have spent the last several months listening to dogs barking every time someone enters my building. You are going to pay Greene prices for an East Dayton apartment. This complex should be demolished and turned into a parking lot. Moving out today 5/19, never to return. Renter beware. You definitely do not get what you pay for.
These people are crooks! Run as fast as you can! We moved into an apartment that was so disgusting and dirty that our vacuum bag had to be emptied numerous times! The grease in the cabinets was so thick you could not possibly put anything in there. It took days for us to clean it so that we were comfortable. We paid our rent, which was an exorbitant amount due to a short-term lease, on time. We left the apartment in MUCH better condition than when we moved in. Then about 4 months later, we started getting calls from a collection agency saying that we owed $180 for carpet cleaning and touch up painting. We called the property manager, and was told that they would removed us from collection. Now almost 5 years later, we find out that the collection is still on our credit. The collection agency says they cannot access the file and the present property manager said there was nothing she could do. She said there are additional fees for rent and utilities that we owed as well. Everything is totally made up bogus fees. Protect yourself from these liars and thieves!
Lots of hidden fees. I was 19 when I lived here and they stuck me in a ground floor apartment that smelled like wet mold, assuming it was flooded in the past. The smell stuck to my furniture and clothes. If you live here, make sure you know what apartment you are getting. Living in that hole was miserable. The apartment was not like the one I was shown.. Definitely got taken advantage of by these people. I think the newer ones are probably decent. But they’re still going to get you with hidden fees when you move in and out. The management wasn’t very professional or helpful. They just want your money. All in all, not the ideal place to live.
***Update: my son did receive a full refund of the administrative fees.Beware of excessive Administrative fees that they will charge you with your application. My son submitted an application on May 13th. They charged him $185 in application and administrative fees and then ghosted him and never responded. My husband left a negative review on Facebook on May 29th. They emailed my son within 10 minutes of my husband posting that review to ask for new income information. They then deleted my husbands review and blocked him on FB.My son has contracted them to ask for a refund of the administrative fees (not the application fee) and they are continuing to ignore him.Youve been warned. I would not recommend anyone rent from these people.
Stonebridge has been complete garbage for the whole year of my lease like the idea of spending 750 a month on a one bedroom with appliances that even your grandmother would deem old? Then this is the place for you where putting in a work order for your ac to get fixed in winter because we have an 80 degree day and they tell you to open your windows and you have to tell them to fix the screens so bugs dont get in by opening them and the carpet is that stuff youre uncle has on his back patio really the only upside is that if youre willing to pay an arm and a leg you will live right by the Greene where you will be able to afford nothing because you use all your money on a place to live take my warning if you think these people will care about anything you ask they wont and my rent was agreed and I was told it wouldnt change from 650 for the entirety of my lease a month later it went to 750 dont let these people scam anyone else steer clear of this place my toilet takes 5 flushes to get it to flush and they told me theres nothing they can do its just the water pressure my sinks broken they told me theyll fix it when I move if youve read this and still want to live here go ahead idiot
Ive been living here for about half a month and, though there were some damages and repair needs, the maintenance was very quick to fix all issues. The maintenance guy who helped us, Scott, is a very nice and caring person who is personable and fun to talk to. The rest of the staff here is very nice and caring. Ive had no issues in the apartment that maintenance and the office staff wasnt willing to fix for me promptly. Natassja in the office was my leading agent who has been very helpful in the entire moving transition. Its a great neighborhood with wonderful staff and living conditions. I highly recommend this apartment.
Stonebridge has been a great place to live! All my neighbors have been so nice! The maintenance staff works very hard to make sure your satisfied in your apartment and are good about completing work orders. Toni and the rest of the office staff are always friendly if you need any help. I definitely recommend moving here, and plus some units have fire places which is going to be awesome this winter :)
I have loved living at stonebridge so far, my boyfriend and I have been living here for two months and it has been great. I never hear my neighbors and when I do see them everyone is polite and nice. I love living next to the Greene, it is faster to walk from my apartment than to drive there and find a parking space! Maintenance has been great so far and very helpful when I have needed them, the ice and snow have been taken care of immediately keeping the grounds safe and easy to maneuver. Overall a great place to live so far!
So far my experience at stonebridge has good. Management worked on getting me in quickly with a very short deadline. Everyone was very helpful and patient with the whole process. My apartment is the perfect size for 2 and we enjoy being close to entertainment and dinning options in the area as well as all the amenities they offer at the complex. Special thanks to Amy who was always on top of everything with getting me moved in quickly!
My mother and I just moved in 2 months ago and couldnt be any happier! We have never lived in an apartment complex and this is the perfect thing for us. We constantly feel like we are on vacation with the awesome pool and workout room only feet from our door. Stonebridge is truly an amazing place to live and I would recommend it highly.
*Dont bring your huskies here. Dog park fencing is so loose at the bottom they can just squirm right out from under* Only went here because of the pet policy and location. Thats about where the reasons to stay here end. The conditions of the apartments and complex as a whole are not very good. My standards arent high. Ive dealt with barracks and would much rather those living conditions again than this facility. I had no issues with any of the people. Staff and maintenance were all good to me. But dont expect your deposit back. They had carpet cleaners come in behind every person we saw move out in our building so I figured our place with so many dogs wasnt going to have a chance. I was correct. Just avoid this place. Its not really worth the money. Theres plenty other options
We just moved in and are already so happy here. Not only is the office staff super nice, its super easy to apply. Everything here is so beautiful and its so close to the Greene. Would highly recommended.
Our entire move in process has been made very easy by them. Theyve been extremely kind and helpful along the way. We got to see the actual apartment we were moving into so we knew exactly what we were getting. As a bonus, my pup loves their dog park!
Ive been extremely impressed with the office staff and their responses to any issues. The maintenance team has been great; the head of maintenance is very thorough and knowledgeable. Ive been pleased with my stay thus far.
We have had a great experience since we moved here in May 2016. Seems to me that some people are hard to please, while others are grateful to have what they do. We fall into the latter category. If you go into a situation with an unrealistic expectation, you will always be disappointed. We recommend the complex to all of our friends. The location and amenities are great, rent is reasonable, newer management is flexible and reliable, maintenance staff is great at upkeep, and all the neighbors are very friendly. We plan to stay here for a long time!
Quick move in and an amazing staff. Great amenities with pool and work out center. Extremely friendly and helpful whenever assistance was needed. Highly recommend moving here.
Moved in today, love it.. staff is so friendly and helpful. The apartment is huge and cant believe the affordability. Highly recommend
I just moved in last week and I have had a good experience so far. The move in process was very easy and seamless. When you report to the leasing office to get your key, they walk over to your apartment with you to help you look for things to mark down on the pre-move in sheet. You get a move in packet that gives you basic information and contact information for the leasing office and maintenance staff. If there is something the maintenance staff needs to look at, they are very responsive and friendly.
I put a deposit down to hold an apartment for a family member. He found a more suitable community to rent from and did not rent from StoneBridge. We were told that the deposit would be refunded in full. It has been over 1 month and a two weeks and I still have not received the refund. I have spoke to the community manager Natisha twice. The first time I spoke with her it was three weeks ago. I was told I should receive the refund in a few days. I spoke with Natisha today and she told me it has not been issued . When I ask when can I expect it she said It will Take as long as it takes. ! Do not deal with this community!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would! We have a 2 bedroom 1 bath and first moving it, it smelled like cat piss, our dishwasher is nasty I wanna assume soap build up. Our floor is literally caving in. We have broken up cement under our carpet. We have part of the sink that was supposed to be fixed the day we moved in but it never has. Not to mention all of the hidden fees that they dont tell you about. Say that since we dont use cable we are not aloud to get it taken off our bill. We have a major hornet problem on our balcony, was told that a treatment was done but we still have them like crazy. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE.
Rented a 2 bedroom apartment here recently. Krista in the leasing office was great to work with, super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect and close to entertainment, shopping, etc.
Apartments are pretty old with run down appliances. Yes rent is pretty cheap, but you get what you pay for. This would probably get 3 stars if I lived on the top floor because the ceiling/floor between the apartments is super thin and I can hear any time my neighbor walks. The floors are also crooked so some furniture wont even stand up straight. The only thing this place has going for them is the location since its right off 675 and behind The Greene shopping center. I also havent had any issues with management. If youre searching for an apartment in Beavercreek/Kettering, look for a nicer place with better appliances and ceilings/floors that arent cardboard thin.EDIT: Stonebridge forces you to get Time Warner Cable, and the floorboards are more annoying than I thought. I have my fan on in my room and every night I feel disturbed by my upstairs neighbors. I will not be resigning my lease when it is done. I honestly dont think anybody should live in this unit after me until they redo the floorboards with actual material.
Omg... Has to be the most unprofessional office i have ever worked with. Training issues all over the place. Retraining a must.... If youre a chaos lover...you have found your home!! Dear Jesus bless your heart... 😨😡😮
Location is litterally next to the Greene and exterior looks great. Unfortunately, the interiors dont seem to have been updated recently. At least as far as I was shown in the 1 bedroom I looked at.
Location is prime. Pricing compared to other apartments in the area is far better. No place is perfect, but any problem that I had was taken care of. It was a good year.
Location location location, you are paying to live next to the Greene. The unit is old and not well kept. They make you pay for cable and the gas and electricity bills are high due to the age of the building. Overall when my lease is up I will definitely be moving. If you like the Greene move here because you’ll want to be out of the apartment as much as possible. The laundry facilities are not clean but they do allow for card usage which is convenient. I gave it an average rating because the staff is great but just not satisfied with the overall unit.
Thanks everyone for the reviews, I was considering moving here but after reading all of this I have changed my mind.
This place is actually a joke. The first few months were fine but the last few months have been unreal. Where do I start? First, they incorrectly processed my rent payment one month, charged me $200 for it. Even though I have never had a problem the last 9 months of my lease, so that makes me feel like Im in good hands here! My last apartment would give you a week or two to get the money in or youre out. If Stonebridge does not have your money by the 5th, expect an eviction letter on your door that day! To make it even better, I had went out of the state days after this fiasco happened and they kept blowing up my phone (saying that it was urgent) to see if I was going to resign my lease which ended almost 3 months later? Keep your expectations low with the inside of the apartments. Expect a lot of bugs inside, mold, etc. No matter how much you clean, it will still be gross. Neigbors are rude and creepers, expect people screaming their conversations in the early morning right outside your window. The pool is gross, always needs cleaned. Said in the beginning of summer that you had to go out of your way to the office and get a pool pass (cheap rubber wristband) and they have never checked to see if anyone has them all summer. Recently, the parking lot is the topic of discussion. They ripped it to absolute shreads. All at once. Like there are actually huge holes in the ground that you had to swerve around and drive on the wrong side! My car needed an allignment it was so bad. Now we have realized that wasnt the best idea and now were going to rope off huge sections and now everyone from multiple buildings will have to fight to the death for a parking spot somewhat close to their building for lord knows how long. Or you get your car towed....If someone asked me what it was like to live at stonebridge, I would say that it feels like Im literally living in the twilight zone. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
This place is a complete dump, for lack of better words. There is always trash and garbage everywhere including used diapers, dog poop, rotten produce, mattresses, couches, and spoiled food. I am amazed at the amount of things we have picked up (and the kinds) and how little the staff seem to care about it. For example, I went to say something about how dirty the laundry room was and complain about clothes being everywhere to which the office staff looked at each other and said, Oh yeah hasnt that been there for 2 or 3 days.. Obviously, having a clean property is not a concern. On another occasion, I mentioned the overflowing dumpster and asked if they could put out a note about keeping the property clean, to which they responded that it didnt matter and nothing helps. However, they are quick to put out notes about your lease being up in 4 months and that if you dont renew it rent goes month to month and they charge an extra $100.00 (got that on Christmas Eve). The maintenance is slow (been without a dishwasher for over 3 weeks) and also inconsiderate, failing to notify me that they would be delayed getting the dishwasher fixed because they have to shut the water off for the whole building (but yet I still get a note threatening to charge extra if I dont renew now). Overall, the place is dirty, falling apart, and the office staff is rude and incompetent (they have lost so many of my work orders). Dont move here. And all of this doesnt include that there have been 4 fires in the last 6 years, my truck was broken into, and they tack on extra hidden charges in the rent.
Moving in was a great experience! We were in a hurry to move in and Natassja was SUPER helpful to get us in on our time crunch. The apartment had no issues when we moved in and the fire place is beautiful. The deck has a great view to the courtyard and the dog park is great! The kids play ground is also a big plus. Ive meet multiple neighbors and theyre all very friendly. Also theres definetly no fighting for a parking space since theres tons of spots.
I went to visit my grandchildren and the pot holes were awful it messed the alignment of my car up. You cant even veer to miss them because of the sheer number of holes. It is absolutely ridiculous and needs to be fixed immediately before irrevocable damage is done to the tenants vehicles.
My move in was quick and the people are very nice! They answered all of my questions and worked with me for my quick move in date.
Came in for a walk through of the place and the carpets were stained, smelled like smoke(cigarettes) and piss. That was just before walking inside the apartment. When we walked in to view the apt, there was a maintenance guy taking a dump in the bathroom instead of repairing the place! Im not even sure he really was maintenance. He sounded like some random guy that broke it to take a dump. Immediately after that I was not only completely disgusted but determined to RUN back to my car!
We have only been here about a week, but the apartments are a good size and the staff seem friendly. We love how dog friendly the community is!
This place just sucks full on sucks are window is broken so when it rains water just seeks threw and our fricken oven just broke and we called them and they just saidsorry we cant fix it wait what do you mean also the bathroom John every time we use it we have to flicker the Handel cause its cheaply build also your lucky in you dont see a bug a day and the pool just is no fun with how dirty it is and how it looks like I big pile of mud Thanks for reading stone bridge fix it.
Left this place a while ago. These reviews are paid for (Including my previous one). Management is a mess. Dont update units, takes weeks to get anything fixed. One time they lost our payment, and came home from work with an eviction notice. No call, nothing. Luckily we saved proof of payment and they fixed it. Unprofessional in all sense. Also tack on whatever maintenance fees they want after rent, so the advertised price is not what you pay for. Budget another $100-$150 on top of what they say
If I could give this place less than one star I totally would. I rented for a short-term period (3 months) and it has been the biggest mistake of my life. I paid on time and paid my bills as they came due. No real issue while I was there. (Other than the fact the apartments are pretty gross and the people in the front office can best be described as incompetent). Once I moved out I was given what I was told was a pro-rated bill for the 10 days in April I had been there. I asked repeatedly if this included all utilities and I was told that it did. I should note that all utilities means water and gas; everything else I paid separately. I move out, no issues. I had paid $100 deposit so I was waiting to hear back about that. One month later I still havent heard anything, so I call. I get told that the woman answering the phone wasnt here when I lived here, and that they are under new management so it will be at least 60 days. She verified my new address and hung up. After 60 days I call again, get the same response and she tells me that she will look into it. Two weeks later nothing. So I keep calling and getting told the same thing. Finally about 3 months after I moved out I get a call from a collections company telling me that I owe $147 to Stone Bridge. I NEVER received any sort of statement or bill and I hadnt even received any notice about my deposit.Bottom line, the people in the office dont know their heads from their assholes. They will just make up things on the spot and hope you dont notice later on. I still havent verified what all these charges are about and no one in the office seems to ever know anything.
Excellent location. Well laid out. Awesome staff and maintenance crew!!! Go see Amy Holp!! Outstanding service!
The management staff is excellent and the maintenance is always quick to respond and resolve. Spacious one bedrooms with working utilities and safe living area.
I currently live here and love it. The new company managing is great and prompt to answer and take care of anything you may need!
The office staff works really hard at making sure you have everything you need taken care of. The only reason they dont get 5 stars is because sometimes their hands are tied by the higher ups so it turns into a waiting game. But every concern or comment that Ive made has been addressed as quickly as possible and that includes the issues with the exterior of the building not just in my apartment. All but 1 of the maintainence men are awesome and super friendly and knowledgeable.Just shortly after posting this the climate has gone down. There are potholes every 5 feet throughout the parking lot. They messed up and overcharged rent one month then didnt pull rent on time the next and are trying to charge us late fees because of their screw ups. There are holes in the facade of the building, trash in front of the doors, the lawn though being mowed is still to my ankles with a field of dandelions.
I went to visit my cousin and it was ridiculous, trash in the yards, high grass, potholes literally everywhere and hard to miss!! The hallways smelled like smoke it was just a mess! Hopefully these things can be fixed I was only visiting I cant imagine what it would be like actually living there!
My now Husband lived here when we were only dating, for just a year, and having had been living in a different apartment building myself, I couldn’t believe how terrible this place was. The outside and inside of the apartments are outdated, but you know that going in. The kitchen counters were beat to death, scratches and stains in all kinds of colors. Walls are thin, and his above neighbors would start loud music and partying at 10:30pm that would sometimes go on until 7:00am. The halls around that same neighbor, above and below, smelled terribly of weed. He notified the office as there is a noise curfew and they told him there was nothing they could do, and he should contact the police, which he did, multiple times, and nothing was ever done about it. They messed up billing MULTIPLE times. And, the two things to top this all off, I once got ahold of his key while he was at work, and went to decorate his apartment for his birthday, and got LOCKED IN THE APARTMENT. The door handle jammed and I was completely stuck. I called my boyfriend to let him know I was stuck and he told me where to find the emergency maintenance service number. I called and a guy answered who said he was new, but he thinks that because it was SUNDAY, they couldn’t help unless it was an emergency! I kept asking how me being stuck in an apartment wasn’t an EMERGENCY but he wouldn’t back down and said they would not come out and help me, so I wound up having to crawl out his window, thank God he was ground level! We dealt with going in and out of a window, getting many weird looks and stares, until they came out to fix it days later. Lastly, He didn’t receive his deposit back when he moved out, and I know we left it looking better than when he moved in. When he questioned them about it, they said it was because of the appearance of the kitchen counters, which were that exact way when he MOVED IN! He was later told by a maintence guy who was off the clock that all they did was paint over the kitchen counters after he moved out, lots of good that big old deposit did! Would never recommend anyone live here!!!
I loved living their I would still be their if my apartment wouldnt of burned down... I would definitely move back in a heart beat!!!
Iv never lived in the complex. I do drive by it every day though. It looks like a nice place and its in a nice location if you want to get to a lot of different places quickly.
Ive been in my apartment for a week and a half. There were a couple hiccups with my move-in, but the staff was good at communication. There were a couple maintenance issued that needed to be addressed, but were resolved quickly.
One word....GARBAGE
The staff was very helpful getting me situated and showed genuine interest in making sure I was able to move in and that I was settled
This has to be one of the most dysfunctional complexes in the state. We had one instance where there was in assue with their system accepting a payment so we were charged a late fee. Another where we got charged for double the rent because they switched payment systems. And now here we are 4months moved put, no returned deposit, no invoice of any damages, no communication from office managment, even after countless calls and emails. They sent a bill we have no invoice of to collections and refuse to send an invoice of said charges. I cant wait to be rid of this horrible place for good. Worst mistake Ill make.
The leasing office is great and friendly. The apartments are good and have a lot of space (I have a 2-bedroom).However, their maintenance is less than satisfactory and on a regular basis my requests for maintenance have been ignored or pushed off. For 3 out of 5 maintenance requests about leaking pipes, malfunctioning outlets, and broken heaters, I have been given excuses about why they can’t or won’t fix it right away. For a leaking pipe I had to call three times before they replaced the pipe—they had only been tightening it, hoping for an easy fix. When an outlet had worn out and was sparking when something was plugged in, they told me I needed to buy a new extension cord because they didn’t want to replace the outlet. When my heater went out twice in two days and now works like the furnace from ‘A Christmas Story,’ I’m told by the EMERGENCY line: “I can bring you a space heater and have them come look at it Monday if you want.” What else is the purpose of emergency maintenance if you refuse to come out in your “off-hours”?Stonebridge, from other reviews I know this isn’t the first maintenance review gone sour. Please do something about it.
This place is complete dump. Nothing works and its so dark at night you feel like you are going to get mugged.
My experience so far at Stonebridge has been great! I am a seasoned vet when it comes to apartment living. i have lived in every type, shape and size. . Here is what I like...1. Friendly Management who is not in your business, but handles any issues in a timely professional manner - (Natasha ROCKS!!!)2.VERY SAFE!!!!- extensive lighting all around the complex3.Large Clean apartments for a fair price -(every apartment comes with ware and tare its a FACT). I have lived in luxury apartments that were not so luxury.) there is zero mold or bugs, the appliances were clean and in great shape.4. Uh Duh The GREENE...yes bars & restaurants at the Greene are a little expensive.... and so is a DUI. Ill pay the extra two bucks on a beer at the Pub so I can walk home safely. Plus the Greene has an Ulta/VS, no complaints!5. Ladies....the closet in the one bedroom is fabulous...enough said! (I feel like Carey Bradshaw in Sex and the City every morning)6. Maintenance Staff is great. I had a leak in my tub...next day they fixed it.7.Lots and Lots and lots of parking8. Well maintained pool, dog park, grills and swing set. Its nice to see apartments think outside of the box when installing amenities.9. Location is amazing. 15 minutes to North Dayton, 15 minutes to the Dayton Mall area, 15 minutes to Xenia.10. Theres a really nice park with in walking distance and I have met a lot of nice neighbors.
Nice facility and people. Great neighborhood near the Greene!
Would love to come n look at the 4 bedroom 2 bath you guys have, we are in the process of looking for another place a lot bigger, because the place where at now isnt big enough for 4 people, we have no pets n would love to come take a tour
Just about everything that could have gone wrong did just short of the place being robbed. Fridge broke and took days to replace. Water heater stopped working the same day the entire apartment floor flooded and took a month to return to a pre-flood condition. Apartment windows did not have screens the first 7 months we lived there. An outlet that was rarely if ever used shorted and began viciously smoking—had I not been present and diligent, the entire building could have very well burned down. The apartment had bedbugs, carpet beetles, and mice at various times, much larger bugs began inhabiting the place during post-flood sogginess. Included cable tv is mandatory, billed separately, and standard definition. Clerical errors in processing rent payments meant we received passive aggressive vacate notices on our door despite always paying rent on time. Management was constantly out to lunch or leaving early; the other office workers only have the ability to take money and show apartments. After sending us the incorrect amount for our security deposit refund, we stubbornly waited 2 and a half hours for the (assistant?) manager to return from lunch. Please please PLEASE do not live here. You might be thinking you can beat the odds and get a nice, cheap place close to the Greene. I thought so, too. If you are absolutely dead set on living here, get rental insurance. You are going to need it.
Love the place. Its beautiful and the staff is so friendly!
Had a wonderful experience with a quick and easy move in. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Quick and professional staff, facility is well taken care of! Also in a convenient location!
Very convenient and helpful. Krista is very kind and courteous
I lived in this God-forsaken dump from 1985 to 1986. The most incompetent maintenance staff ever glued my window shut when I reported that it leaked. Living in a basement apt. with a window well, the whole apt. got flooded every time it rained. Nice to know nothing has changed at this scum hole. I think some of the work orders we had written up when we moved in in 1985 are still in process.
Excelent customer service apartments great as well .
STAY AWAYI lived here for two years, and every complaint Ive read about this place is true. When we first moved in, our apartment had a myriad of problems, the worst being an overwhelming stench of wet dog. The ceilings are thin, you will hear whoever lives above you. Half of what youre paying for is the location. The management is incompetent and money-hungry to say the least, 100% profit driven without caring about you, the sucker locked into a contract with them. And they must be awful to work for, it seemed that the sales staff completely turned over every month. They sent debt collectors after my roomate and I, now three weeks after weve moved out, with no warning whatsoever! We are trying to get a list of damages from them, we are willing to pay to end this constant headache, but they dont pick up the phones when they ask us to call them. Avoid giving this place a cent, because they will try to take a dollar.
Theres a pool a gym and a laundey room. Also located walking distance to the greene. A great spot to live. Trendy area. Lots of things to do. LA fitness around the corner. Movie theater next door. Lits of resturants to choose from. Near a trader joes. Near a meijers and so much more.
If I could give them 0 stars. I would. The management is absolutely terrible. I went without power in half my apartment for almost 3 full days, and it ended up only taking them 5 minutes to fix the problem. Our apartment flooded and they just dried out the floors and never found the source of the flooding. They mailed my return to deposit to the wrong address (an address that doesnt even exist). Once the error was realized the refused to void the check and issue another one. Accounting finally decided this was the correct course of action and mailed the check out 1 week ago today. And Ive still yet to receive it.
Ive lived here for around 8 months. While ive been here there building works hit my car and my girlfriends in the same week. They wouldnt do anything about that not even aorey that happen. We had a ac problem they told us they cant come out till its 80 plus outside. Atleast once a month the driers and washers are out of service. Also you pay for unheard of things like cable even if you dont want itYou would be better off going somewhere nicer then here with better customer service
Very fast and helpful. Beautiful apartment
Ok where do I start!I moved in in April 2014!Upon moving in we were told that the apartmentWas newly renovated! It wasnt we had vanities and toilets from the 70s.Mold on walls, leaky Windows, lost $200 in items do to water damage told them about the windows and the mold, their response was ( its normal) its not black mold ( its normal its ok its not deadly)! In this apartment there was a fire place which had stone and that was falling apart! Our appliances were falling apart as well!We would report these issues and theyd never get fixed! So in August 2014 the place burned down! They moved us into a basement unit also said itWas renovated ok so when we moved in the issues were worse apt 516Kids started getting sickMold build up in every roomFridge falling apartBleach on carpetPet stains on carpetStove brokenSink sprayer sprayed everywhereUm doors falling apartThen in 2016We moved cleaned the entire apartmentUpon moving out we were told wed have to payMays utilitiesGot billed a normal billCame in to dispute itThey argued about my security depositWell instead of transferring my security deposit from on apt to the next they made it a credit which theyWere supposed to give us credit then transfer our security deposit they used the security deposit as a credit and never informed us thats what they did!So they stole 1169 from us!I was in arguing with them while keeping my cool and they are refusing to refund my $$$!Be warned this place isnt clean or up kept in any way !They dont get new carpet! And my friends fridge broke and they took the broken one from my place and put it in hers a day later and all her food went bad !They are refusing to pay for her replacement!During my stay I also slipped 3 times on their grounds do to poor upkeep they are refusing to do anything about that as well! Told me its normal!Dont expect to get anything fixed!
Lived in 2 different units here.... when management switched over, things got awful. After 3 months of consecutive / wrongful eviction notices (when I had receipts for paying rent when it was due) I finally had enough. I didnt want to come home and find my stuff out on the curb or my cats murdered. Talked to the regional manager at the time and she let me out of my lease. Little to my surprise, a month after I had moved, I got an eviction that ruined my credit and they sent me to collections for $3K+.TL;DR: Dont live here, they will literally destroy your life.
Great people good move in experience nice and easy.
First of all, this place is a really nice place, and you guys talking about the dog poop and the garbage, why are you playing the office?, thats your home, its your fault for not cleaning after your dogs, and its your fault for throwing your garbage in the wrong place, I live their and I like the management and I think they are doing good job, and I wouldnt throw my garbage everywhere then complaine about it, you should be lucky for living a walking distance by the Greene :p, love and peace :)
They were so delightful and nice.
Rent at your own risk! One of the worst apartment complexes anyone could ever live in. Theyre rundown, dilapidated, and they stink. Couldnt wait to get out of there after my lease was up. And then at the end they steal your security deposit.
Great staff and the community atmosphere is great!
It is adequate housing for the price.
Worst service to tenants... Have had broken toilets and cabinets for months...
I was given misinformation and they kept my deposit. If you are looking keep looking! 😠
No parking tenants visitors can take up all parking and leave you as a paid tenant without, if you haveneighbors that caused problems the office wont do a thing and on move out they overcharged and they did nothing
Absolutely horrible experience. Like everyone else said rating one star is far too kind.
I love it here!!
Rob and Scott fixed it imadiatie!
