Decent auction site, sometimes lacking important information on vehicles like mileage, title,fuel type, engine size, vin, condition, inspection, running status, and could post videos on vehicle starting and running, but Dont.

After being in business for over 25 years, I decided it was time to close our prop rental company. We had accumulated hundreds of props over the years and knew it would be too big of a task to sell everything ourselves in a limited time frame. That’s when we reached out to Hostetter Auctioneers. From pre-planning to buyer removal, Matt and his team were terrific to work with. They were knowledgeable, timely, efficient and responsive. When we first met, Matt said everything would be emptied out and he stayed true to his word. Hostetter Auctioneers took a weight off our shoulders and made the process a lot easier on us. I am very thankful for everything Hostetter Auctioneers did to help us out and recommend them to anyone.

We had a horrible experience trying to contract with this company to sell the contents of our parents home after they passed away. The rep came and looked at the house, we chatted and I thought everything was set. He sent me a contract via email. I replied via email with several questions and - nothing, no reply. I sent follow up emails, left a voice mail and even called the company to see if the guy still worked there - the receptionist assured me he did and that he would get back to me the next week. Nothing. I wasted about 6 weeks trying to chase this guy down. I ended up going with another auction company and it all worked out. But the lost time waiting for this guy to respond hurt us because it delayed our ability to list the house for sale - which cost us more in utilities and delayed us until the fall to get the house on the market. If the estate was not worth their time to auction, he should have told me up front and I would have moved on. It was very unprofessional to just not reply.

Bought several items from them. Most were not described or misdescribed. Be very careful of what you are purchasing. It seems it is others peoples junk. Other auction houses will describe as needs work or not fully operational. They take vague pictures and seem to purposefully not address glaring issues.

Been shopping with Hostetter Auctioneers for 5 years. They are always friendly and helpful. Its nice they have a watchlist feature to set aside ONLY the items you are interested in and you dont have to make a big list of items to bid on. They advertise the sale, you look online, preview the sale if you want or just bid after reviewing the description and pictures. Great auction finds.

This is one of the easiest auction companies I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The online bidding is fast and simple, They go out of their way to answer any questions you have on an item or the sale. The payment is easy and pickup is even better. They are very nice people and they run a great company.

Hostetter Auctioneers is all around great. The quality and variety of the items they offer is appealing to many different needs and their customer service is even better. I had an issue making it to the pick up time and they were quick to respond to my question and were flexible with letting me choose a pick up time. (Ive learned from other auctions this is RARE)

This auction houses reliable to have great estate sales, real estate sales and auto auctions. Their staff is always accommodating with advice and details about the website. Being able to access the online auction from anywhere with your smart phone is always a great success. Keep up the good work everybody.

They love to take your money. But not so good at providing a steady way to pick up purchased items. Rude staff, they treat theyre customers like dogs. I buy from auctions on a weekly basis, and Hostetter was by far the worst at customer service and reliability. Items were also not organized and sloppy paper work, cluster of employees, each giving a different answer to a question, and none ready to lend a hand. But they will be glad to bark out orders like you work for them. Buyer beware.

Would give 0 stars. Won 3 bids and they were junk. A prep table that doesnt work. A blender thats broke and a lock cash box wit no keys. Never deal with these crooks again.

I would not bid on anything on here. You will probably get ripped off! They sold me items that didnt work. I got DVD players that didnt come with charge cords and the speakers didnt work that also came with them.

They will bait and switch items that you won with stuff youve never seen before.
