When I called the lady was very nice but when I got there I got seated with this guy, I don’t know his name but he wasn’t very friendly didnt really talk and hardly asked if I liked it I wanted them shorter but he just kept going. He took his time which was nice but they still didn’t turn out good not the shape or length I wanted. He also drilled at my fingers so long the skin by my cuticles started to bleed. At the end me and my friend were practically demanded to give a tip. Definitely not worth it.

The reviews for this place had me hesitant at first. I’m from 3 hours away and decided to try it out, and absolutely loved it. Everyone in here was very kind and funny. My nails have NEVER looked this good when I get them done out by me. Definitely will be returning (:

I am very disappointed with my pedicure. They flooded my cuticles leaving it looking messy and the design I asked for is not even close. I wish I had noticed before I left but unfortunately I had to hurry home to my baby. I thought that I had an appointment. It turns out that they just say yes when you call. They dont take your name or write it down anywhere. When I got there, I said that I had an appointment. Three people walked in the door after me with no appointment. She sat them in the last three pedicure chairs and left me standing there. Finally, she said well do your manicure first.Before I had a chance to say that I wanted my nails kept as long as possible, she grabbed my hand and chopped off the nails very short. I told her twice that I wanted gel on my fingers and regular polish on my toes. When the fingers were done, she asked if I wanted the same polish on my toes. I said no, I want regular. She said that she didnt think she could match regular polish to my fingers. Any other place Ive been has numbers to match regular and gel. In fact no one has ever suggested gel for my toes. I felt like she just wanted me to pay the extra $15. for gel.When I went over for the pedicure, the guy was not very friendly. Maybe it was a language problem, but he seemed very gruff. No greeting, no smile. When it was almost time for the polish, the first woman came running over and slammed down a bottle of polish. I couldnt see the bottle. The guy was very fast and had all the nails on one foot done before I could see what color it was. I hated the color. It didnt come close to matching the finger polish. I just wanted to get out of there by then, so I let him finish with that color. I will never go back there.

Made an appointment and got in right away! Very clean and staff was excellent. Went in for a pedi & was obviously very pleased!

First off let me start by saying I’m a picky brat when it comes to my nails. I called and made an appointment with Nina because I had went to another salon in Waunakee and they butchered my nails. Nina took the time to take my nails off and give me a complete new set. Let’s be real they look absolutely amazing. I will never go to another salon again. Thank you so much 💕💕

I got acrylic nails with white French sparkly tip with a cute heart and dot thumb nail design. The man Johnny who did my nails was amazing with everything my nails look beautiful and I will always come back here when I need my nails done. Worth every penny all the people were kind and conversation was quite nice. By far best place I have gone to for my nails :) Thank you so much.

My 4 year old and I went and they were great with her. My nails are gorgeous! I will absolutely be returning!

So I do enjoy the final product of my nails, HOWEVER; there were a few issues. I did not have an appointment so I was pleased to be able to get in. I waited maybe 10-15 minutes which isn’t bad. They asked me to pick out a color, and there us a huge selection of both normal polish and gel. I honestly don’t care about what color i got but i had a certain look in mind. I wanted clear glossy pink. The man was kind of rude when I wasn’t sure which color to get but showed him a picture instead. He was also suggesting that I would ruin my nails if i got normal polish and not gel. He was trying to up charge we on every little thing. He said the was a beauty fee of $10 for natural shape nails and then winked at me. It was weird. I wanted my nails slightly more pink and they turned out orangish. Overall it was okay. The nails also have quite a few hair bubbles in the acrylic.

They were so accommodating waited for us to get there even after being closed I didnt get there until 7:25pm and they still took us and were so nice and understanding. Got my friends nails done perfectly. We felt so bad and they reassured it was ok they understood things happen.Will definitely go back again

Only scrubbed my feet halfway, left a ton of dead skin on my heals. Manicure was just okay.

Confusing to find since they changed their name from cute nails and spa to star nails and it doesnt mention that online anywhere...I set an appointment and was rushed into finding my color when I was told I had to pick from a different set of colors...turns out without asking I was switched to gel so there was a higher charge than expected. The entire process was VERY rushed and it truly shows. The acrylic doesnt even meet my cuticle line, it looks like they already need to be filled...Just sad. Not worth the $50 spent.

Paid for manicure but all she did was paint my nails. Looks terrible.

Rushed though my nails, consistency of the acrylic was to runny, and over priced. And my hands have 2 different lengths. And some nails are crooked 🙃

Horrible experience. Never will go here again. When asked for color that was told to pick out. When they brought the color back wasn’t the color that was asked for. When getting my nails done. I asked for coffin shape. And the gentleman who was doing my nails. He shaped them ballerina. Nails are bubbly, never will I ever go here.

I got a nail fixed that i had gotten done somewhere else and the lady kept arguing with me and rushed through my nails. I asked for coffin shape like all my other nails and received square shape. Would not go again.

I visited a different nail salon in beaver dam and realized immediately the tips were not secured to my nail causing dirt to get stuck. Star Nails welcomed me warmly in immediately and serviced me even though they were clearly busy. They care for their customers and care about their work. They work hard all day to meet the demands of 100s of guests and try their halrdest to please every single person who walks in the door. My nails turned out amazing and I know where to go from now on! The price u pay is defiantly worth the quality u receive!

When this place is busy they do not do the best job... but, if you happen to be here when its not busy.. they do an amazing job :)

The lady is very nice but the actual manicure and pedicure was terrible. They did everything so fast it wasnt enjoyable or worth the price. I have some round nails and some squared. My pedicure lasted about 10 mins outside of the nail painting.

I love this place. The people and quality of work are great. I was one of their first customers when they first opened and I spread the word to all I know. They are now very busy and deservedly so. However, since they have gotten so busy, they need to be more respectful of peoples time. Especially for those who set appointments. I expect if I have an appointment that I am getting my service within 15 min. of arrival. Not sitting in the chair waiting for 1/2 hour. They have a tendency to say yes to everyone. They dont want to send anyone away and lose business, but in the long run, they may save one sale and end up losing the loyal customer. Note to owner: Hold true to your appointment making customers they gave you the respect by making the appointment, give them the respect back by holding to the appointment time. That is just good business practice.

Had my nails (dipping powder) done for the first time here. My nails did not even last 2 weeks. Went back hoping for a better result. The dipping powder did not even last a week. I have been having the dipping powder done on my nails for over a year. My last technician moved, now I am having a hard time finding anyone who knows what they are doing. I am highly disappointed with this place. The technician also use the file on my fingers, drawing blood. I would not recommend coming here for the dipping powder. Hopefully they are better at doing other nail services.

Great dip nails, loved the quick process. This place definitely needs a face lift, and a GOOD cleaning. Very sloppy and dirty looking. It would be nice to have the technicians engage more with customers and less arguing amongst themselves.

I will not come here again. I came for a pedicure. Simple. She didnt use the what i call cheese grater on the left foot, but did on the right. She had sharp nails that she dug into the bottom of my feet..so instead of having a relaxing enjoyable experience, it was opposite. And when using the pick to dig junk out from the sides of your big toes, she was digging with it and then scraped it hard across the top of my feet. I think she needs to learn what she is doing first.

Nina is the best! Was going to another salon in town but had enough of the not so relaxing salon atmosphere and went to Nina. Alot of selection of different colors and acrylics and techniques you will not be disappointed.

Worst nail salon! Got a no chip manicure on Saturday, and by Tuesday 3 fingernails were chipping. They dont take their time with pedicures either, and I have been here multiple times. They are always in a huge hurry to get you done, and it isnt even relaxing. Spending $70+ on a manicure and pedicure, it should last at the very least a week. Wont be back again.

If I could give a zero rating I would. I just went there with my daughter we both left very disappointed. Paid 70 dollars for nails we both hate he chopped my daughters nails super short she picked what colors she wanted and he picked completely different colors. I had a simple french manicure and both mine and my daughters nails look like a 2 year old did them. My daughters nails even have hair stuck in them. He seemed like he cared more about getting them done and getting our money then what they looked like. Im currently calling other places to see if they can get us in and redo them cuz they look so bad. I will never go back!!!

Not impressed. Pedicure was not worth $45. Soak water was cold. I asked to put some hot in, she ignored it. At most places after they are done soaking and cleaning up nails and feet you get fresh water. Nope, not here. On top of it all, the bathroom was not very clean. I dont recommend.

I used to go here quite a bit and it was excellent service, over time it became just so, so...I gave it a second chance today after some time not going there.I went back today 11/9/2016 and was thrilled at the customer service. Clearly there is new ownership. They slightly spiffed up the salon and changed up the pedicure selections and had a lot of colors and gels to choose from.There were a lot of ladies also getting manicures and they all seemed pleased. I dont do my fingernails.My salon associate was attentive and thorough and did a fantastic job, he greeted many customers by name but never took his focus off me.They also started a rewards program. After 10 visits, you get a $10.00 gift card you can use in house.Ill be going back!

Soak water was cool, lady was rough. Placed steaming hot towels on me, which burned me, didnt temp check first. I started to fall asleep and she shook my leg hard to wake me. Never came back to check on me if nails were done. Not worth the high price of $45. Ive had nicer for $10 less.

The staff here is always very friendly!! Everyone always does a great job on my full set, and or my pedicure. Its best to call ahead and make an appointment, they get pretty busy because they are amazing. Worth the wait rather than going to wonder nails..

I went here to get dipped nails which generally last 3-4 weeks and then I take them off. The guy doing my nails was in a bad mood, forgot to give me a manicure (just started doing my nails) and charged me $45 for my nails to fall off in 2 days. I told him specifically not to clip my nails and he clipped them unevenly and didn’t file them. I had an ombré of colors (light to dark) and he completely messed them up. Will not be coming back.

The lady’s are quite argumentative and unprofessional.

They are very rude. They use the same files and dremels on multiple people without sanitizing. They rush you in and out and their work is shotty at best. $40 for a basic shellac manicure that chips within days; youre better off staying home and doing your own nails. I only went here because my regular place was booked and I was desperate to gwt my nails fixed.

Just went this past weekend for the first time. Ive been going to places in Fond du Lac usually, but this place was so great I might make it my new place! My fingers and toes look great and I didnt even do the shellac. He took his time and had many steps to the pedicure which was great pampering. :) Thanks for a job well done!

Only like two people there genuinely care about doing a good job. The rest rush and are multitasking (doing other people at the same time, answering the phone quite literally every minute, checking people in) while others just sit around and watch TV.They also charge extra for whatever they can. Ive gone 3 times for the same thing and paid a different price each time. NEVER going again. Would suggest WONDERNAILS to people considering coming here.

This salon was AWFUL it took them nearly two hours to do our nails, left customers unattended, were rude to myself and friend. The tools were not clean, the service was terrible, and the inside was not what you are initially led to believe.

The guy That did my nails did an excellent job and the price was very reasonable. 35$ for a full set. I would have given 5 stars, but I was unable to get my eyebrows waxed because the person that does that had left, and all the workers were talking to each other in a foreign language the entire time, which can get a little annoying since I could not join the conversation.

If i could, i would most definitely give 0 stars. I went and it felt awkward, i was told to go sit at #5 after i had gotten my acrylics chosen. I was sitting there at number 5, for about 10-15 minutes, in between 2 women who obviously knew eachother. As im sitting there, a woman walks in, and says she wants a manicure. She immediately gets put into #8 and someone starts her doing her nails. Before she had come, there were workers standing around, staring at me. I felt most uncomfortable, i would not recommend this place at all.

I had a very good experience here. The people are so friendly, unlike the other place by Shopko were I felt as though I was doing them a favor by spending my money there. They do get very busy, but if you ask they will give you days and the best time to have services done.

The service was good however they didnt know how to do the special nail polish my daughter picked out, made her bleed and still charged me 40 for a shellac. The person that did my nails did them crocked will not be returning very disappointed!

Went and got the acrylic nails done and it was great service. Unfortunately I learned I have sensitive nails and they couldnt stay on with our severe pain. Disclaimer: THIS WAS NOT THEIR FAULT! But I went back the next day and explained I was experiencing discomfort . They were very kind and understanding. They were quick to take off the acrylic gently and efficiently. Afterward they painted them for me and really made them look nice. They dont give refunds but they dont charge you for the new paint job

Great service and very pleased with the overall experience.

Called ahead 2 hours, set an appointment, arrived 5 min before appt. Waited 15 minutes to get started then an hour later i was still sitting there, pedicure not finished (no polish) manicure - well, I left because I had run out of time. This may not have been an issue if i hadnt made an appointment AND told them upon arrival that i was pressed for time and only had a hour.

My Mother in Law made reservations at 11 and they argued with her that she called the wrong place. They had her down at 12 but said that was not her that was a different woman. They obviously did not want our business, I asked him if he wanted us to leave and go elsewhere......well thats exactly what we did!!! We will never go back there, we were very happy with the place we ended up going though!!!! I would not recommend Star Nails to anyone again!!!

They do nails horribly! Multi tasking from one person to the next and rushing you in and out using their cheap nail products and over charging for the crappy job they do. Guarantee not all of them are certified nail techs! I was embaressed to show my hands by time the lady was done with me. Too much acrylic and cheap gel polish. The woman didnt even bother to shape my nails correctly leading them to look boxed awkward and crooked. Even if youre desperate just dont go there! You can do a better job yourself with a 10$ kit from Walmart.

Like it cause they usually can get me in as a walk in so dont usually have to make an appointment. They also do a good job on a set of gel nails which is what i get done when I go there.

The woman there is just awful. She hadnt even finished the woman before me before she seated me and started doing my nails. Then in the middle of doing my nails she got up to wax someones eyebrows. She put her credit card receipts right next to me and I watched them get stiffed 4 customers in a row(maybe there were cash tips idk) so I felt bad. She rushed my nails, and while I was checking out added $5 to my bill and thought I wouldnt notice. So while I normally tip $10 I left her nothing and she will never touch my nails again. EVER

WORST full set Ive EVER gotten!!! My nails are WAY too thick, and VERY UNEVEN!!! AND I had to pay EXTRA to have the shape I wanted!!!! MY RIGHT HAND NAILS ARE NOT COFFIN SHAPE AND WAY LONGER THAT MY NAILS ON MY LEFT HAND!!! THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!!!
