I am honestly extremely shocked at the bad reviews. We take both our cats and our two dogs there (since they were young puppies) AND our rats there. They have taken in our rats to be put down in an emergency when no one else would. They have even told us we can treat the rats for basic things but if it is something more, they will need a specialist, which is exactly what they should be saying if they feel they are not qualified for exotic pets. They are kind, compassionate and they care so much about our pets. They have treated our pets again and again like family and have always been such wonderful people. Their prices are so reasonable, as well. I have nothing but great things to say about them!!!

I took my sick animal there and they miss Diagnosed her 3 times. Made us give her medication for what they miss Diagnosed her with. They only guessed at what was wrong with her without any actual proof as to why they thought this way. Afterwards they kept her and drew blood but their vet techs didnt send it in when they said they were going too. So it was like 3 weeks late. Plus they didnt actually test for everything they said they did. And they did not xray her correctly. If they did they wouldve seen the cancer and we wouldnt of suffered for a month on the promise that she would get better. Plus on the day we had to put her down the vet himself miss gendered her and caussually said yeah it looks like cancer. They are unreliable and only care about money. They have no compassion for animals. Or their familys. Do not trust. All of the suffering wouldve been avoided completely if they did their job. And the day we put her down I was walking out and the little desk clerk person asked me if I wanted a garbage bag for my dead animal who I was holding. So unprofessional and sick

Huge Thank you to Dr. Singh and his wife, for coming in on a Sunday to treat my very sick dog. Dr. Singh goes above and beyond! After spending the night at the emergency vet for a stone blockage in my dogs Urethra, Dr. Singh got us in on a Sunday, treated our dog and kept him over night to prepare him for surgery to remove many stones from his bladder. I could not ask for a more caring and professional vet to care for my big guy!! They defiantly go above and beyond to care for your pet!! Thank you again for taking such great care of our baby!!!

I wanted to thank and review the clinic and personal for the service provided. I had an emergency with a very sick cat. I contacted them and got an appointment squeezed in the same day. I was contacted about blood work the next morning but I already knew the results would be bad by the cats actions, he could hardly walk. It was Saturday and I asked if I could get the cat put to sleep that morning since I could see he was suffering. They made me an appointment just after their normal closing time and put my little buddy to rest. Thank you so much for your prompt, friendly, and professional assistance.

They go above and beyond what Ive seen a vet do. The doctor or owners have an emergency after-hours number, and have done personal after-hours pickup and phone calls for us when weve needed it. They have also fit us in the very next day for emergency appointments.They also do their best to make it affordable and arent pushy about tacking extra costs on.Theyre always very busy and everytime Im there I see everyone working very hard and you can tell they care a lot about the animals.

Took a few of my rats in when I moved to beaver dan.made Me feel like less than a person for having rats as a pet.never again for any animal! Will not recommend!...ever!

Was up from Texas visiting family when my dog was injured. Despite Diesel not having been seen in almost two years, Dr. Singh came in after hours on a Saturday to treat him. They always took great care of my pets when I lived in Beaver Dam and Im so thankful that hasnt changed!

Be careful with this place, unprofessional feeling, unfriendly and no compassion for your pet. When I moved to town, this vet was the closest to my home. I went with my pup and they were not gentle with her. Stabbed her four times and moved the needle around in her flesh trying to find a rolly vein. Then they gave her another shot more aggressively than needed, which scared her, she jumped and the needle was left hanging in her. Very upsetting as my dog is young and I dont want her being afraid of the vet.To their credit, when I said I wasnt coming back, they called to ask why. I told them the above story and the owner thanked me for telling her. Could I have caught them on a bad day? Maybe. Some reviews are good but theres no way Im bringing my pup back there. I was brutal.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOUR PET DIES!!!!!!!! Do not recommend and very unprofessional! We just moved to WI and my daughter took her rabbit in for a first visit and they gave it the wrong medicine causing it to have a seizure and die!!! You would think they would do their research first or just admit they do not know what to do with that species of animal. We contacted two other veterinarians and they were shocked they would give that medicine to a rabbit. PLEASE TAKE YOUR PET SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!

This vet was recommended to us by our breeder. We had been to two other vets and had a very sick English Bulldog puppy who was seemingly only getting worse day by day. With vet bills piling up & no answers to help we drove a long distance. They had never met us but stayed open to see us which I will forever appreciate! This vet was professional and extremely knowledgeable. Long story short within two days our dog was on the mend. I strongly believe he saved our pups life. He listened to my concerns, answered my questions and didn’t pressure me to do tests I wasn’t comfortable putting our puppy through. After the exam he immediately gave us a list of potential illnesses with great explanations of how we could rule each thing out in the most cost effective manner.

My wife and I have always had a good experience. We have taken are dog in twice when he was ill. They took us in right away and figured out the problem . They didn’t do any unnecessary, costly tests or procedures. Cost was very reasonable .Staff was super friendly as well. We will continue to go here for all of our animals .

They almost killed our dog. Over medicated on one thing and missed other things that we even told them about. Money is the only thing that matters. They should not be allowed to operate .

We have taken 8 different cats to this vet over the course of the last 20 years and they have always treated us and our animals with great care and respect. They have been friendly, compassionate, receptive to our questions and concerns, and just plain wonderful. Yes, we have had one or two bad experiences with staff, but said staff are no longer there and werent there for very long. Otherwise, I cant praise them enough for the wonderful treatment they always have and continue to give to us and our cats,

I have taken both my cats when they were kittens to this vet clinic and I was very pleased. Very friendly, they all took excellent care of my kittens, would go back in the future if I get any more pets. Very happy with the service and staff.

We moved several times for work before deciding to retire here in Beaver Dam. We have 4 dogs so I started looking for a Vet that I can trust. I heard about Beaver Dam Clinic, and decided to keep looking. A few years ago I heard that the Clinic was bought by Dr Singh, so I thought Id give him a try. Its been 3 years since we switched, and Ive never been so happy with the care of my dogs. Accurate diagnosis without spending a fortune on tests not needed, and New state of the art equipment, and ever no office visit charge for routine shots.Were here to stay!

I recommend this vet clinic to everyone in the area. I was a little hesitant when I saw the outside of the building but as soon as I stepped through the doors I was treated exceptionally. They not only treated me well but more importantly were very nice to my pets. They always try to give you the best deal for your money. They arent like other vets that are out for your money. They really treat you great! Definitely worth the drive for me. 40 minutes one way!

After having less than great experiences with vets in the Watertown area, we heard of Beaver Dam Vet Clinic. Amazing, amazing group of people that are at the clinic. All of our fur kids go there and we know they will be cherished and receive some of the best vet care around. We finally have a vet we are thrilled with.

Really shady with a history of animals dying that most likely wouldve lived had they been taken anywhere else. They recently overdosed my friends puppy - putting it on way too much medication for something so small, and doing so after they were made aware he wasnt eating or drinking (hella meds + empty stomach + tiny puppy = bad). Bad attitude towards pets and owners, dont seem to really care about the pets in their care, either intentionally negligent or they really have no idea what theyre doing. Either way - Id never rec anyone go here and I certainly will never take my pets here. Yeah they might be cheaper but you get what you pay for and that absolutely goes for animal care. Keeping your pets safe and healthy is worth paying a little extra and there are plenty of other clinics around

I just had my cat to them.. diagnosed quickly, full physical, shots and meds..very reasonably priced..staff was wonderful and spoke to me while we waited .the Dr.was wonderful,explain things to me and showed me how to do things for my cat and he answered all questions..I have now switched all my pets to them

The doctors are kind and caring. They always explain any needed treatment and are compassionate when the time comes to let pets go.

I have two dogs with 2 different infections within a day of each other, strapped for cash and they are so willing to work with you, they gave excellent care, and took them without an appointment, not to mention an emergency visit in the middle of the night a couple of years ago and they never even charged me for the er visit, they will be my family vet from now on

Declawed a cat at 5 years old and also had her fixed on the same day. Knowing her age.This is a terrible thing to do to a cat let alone doing it at 5 years old.Apparently money talks not morality

Id give a zero if i could. We took our kitten there to be neutered. The building is run down and not clean or organized. We never recieved a call to let us know how our boy was doing. When we picked up, we were never told that he did well or if there were any complications, in fact we never even met a vet that day. During pick up, it was busy and unorganized. The receptions were arguing with each other and with another vet tech. We waited 40 minutes to get our kitten back, despite the fact that we were one of the first in the door, and were the last to leave.Needless to say, we will not be back. This place might be cheaper in town but I wouldnt trust them again.

Wed been bringing our 3 year old dog here since she was born and Ive never been particularly thrilled with this vets office. Never felt like I got thorough treatment for her, but she never really needed much either, so I put off switching vets. Then she got a rash and had itchy ears and they sent us home with meds saying it could be caused by anything. Not the diagnosis I was looking for. 2 months go by and she still scratched a bit, so we took her to a new vet and within the first minute, the vet combed her fur and found fleas. They did not check for this originally which is mind blowing to me. Seems like the most basic thing to check. So disappointed and it was the push I needed to permanently switch vets. Dont bother going here, its not worth it.

This place just sucks and is too shady for my liking deserves a zero.

Do not go here ever!!! Cheap vet gets you cheap service and after reading the other reviews I worry about my cat being there now!

I had an animal put down here and the experience was very unsatisfactory.

I had my cat in in June to get a tooth pulled, he had to stay the day. A couple of weeks later my cay started getting nosebleeds. He was 18 years old and had never been sick before. I took him back, they were adament that he had not picked something up from their office. My cat continued to have nosebleeds, sneezing and lots of distress. I tried speaking to someone about where he got sick from, with no answers and hardly was even able to get a vet to call me back. In fact when they said they would call they didnt even bother. Suddenly my second cat got sick with the same illness. I decided at that time I would not return to this clinic any longer. I ended up having to put my first cat to sleep and my second cat is not doing well either. I still think my cat caught somethig at BD Vet Clinic, after all they had never, ever been sick before. I would never recommend this vet clinic to ANYONE!

I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic. my dog at the age of 3yrs suddenly started having grand mal seizures. got him in their office and he was diagnosed quickly. they are extremely courteous. when i called their office with questions they were extremely prompt about returning them. they were comforting to me and my dog. thanks to them, my dog, jake is doing much better. in fact i have scheduled him to be neutered there this coming friday. i completely trust them to take excellent care of my baby boy. =)

The staff was very rude, and the care is not too good either. I would highly suggest taking your pet somewhere else if you love them..I rate them very, very poor on all aspects of veterinary relations.

My Sons dog had a ball grow on the back of his neck that started out the size of a small pea. Sons wife sd she took him to other vet who kept telling her it was nothing. A different vet went in and took out a ci-bay-cious (?) cyst and we thought all was well. I took over his care after his surgery and 4 months later, the ball is back and growing aggressively. I called this vet and got him in the following day. They were excellent at taking care of my service dog. They found him to have a medium sized tumor. (!!!) They had him in surgery that hour. His care was excellent! He wouldnt allow me to check his incision let alone try to take out the stitches, but my Dog was so comfortable with the Dr. that he sat still (VERY UNCOMMON!) as a statue and allowed the Dr. to take them out, no problem. EXCELLENT CARE!!! (My dog is an 85 pound Amrcn Stffrdshre Terrier.)

Only one person was friendly. The vet was not friendly website says ask about senior discount i did and was told they dont have a senior discount.

I took my dog to get neutered and when he got back from staying in the kennel he had ring worm. The kennels in general were just not a place I would want my pet.

I would give a NEGATIVE 10 if I could!!! My dog was here three years ago for 1 visit and I paid the bill right than and there, now three years later and I get a bill for $40 past due.... What is going on!!!

Dont need to go into details. For me this vet simply did not meet my standards. Others see them as wonderful. Point is do your reasirch and visit the facility prior to making an appointment. Trust your instincts!
