Howard Family dental is always the best! They have been taking care of me for years now, and are always there when I need them. True professionals are prevalent throughout this practice. They are constantly making sure that I’m comfortable, and pain free thought out any procedure that I’m being seen for. I wholeheartedly recommend the team at Howard Family Dental!

Every time I go to Howard Dental they all seem to be joyous and friendly. Always willing to help and explain things to you properly. Their service is always wonderful, very courteous and makes you comfortable even when sometimes you are nervous they always ease your worries. A wonderful place to go when you’re in need of Dental services always consider going to Howard Dental they get 5 stars plus an extra star if I could give them one. They’re a 10 in my book.

Cleanings are fine. They will overcharge you for services and won’t refund you your money and keep it as “account credit”. Scheduled an appt, was advised that it would be okay to arrive 10min late. Arrived 7 min late and was told that I was too late to receive my full service and they rescheduled me for the other half of my care.

Very professional staff! Excellent sanitary practices. You are welcomed like family upon arrival and treated extremely well during your visit! The dentist is very skilled and friendly. He informs you of everything he will do and makes sure your experience is pain free. Highly recommended!

Don’t know how good or bad their dental staff is, but the office staff was so aggressive and rude to me before my first visit, I “no showed” the appointment! I was told I would have to arrive 2 hours in advance so insurance information could be verified (I was unable to provide immediately while on telephone with staff) if unable to provide by 1:00 pm the Friday before my appointment. And, I would have to wait outside until my scheduled appointment time. So rude!

I have only had positive experiences at the Beaufort Howard Family Dental. I am very anxious about going to the dentist. I was finally ok with my previous dentist after 15 years of going to her. We moved here 3 years ago and I was terrified about having to find a new dentist. I have had several different procedures done and was not uncomfortable in any way! Highly recommend them.

I will not ever recommend this office to any one. They are incompetent and they lie when they tell you that they tried to call you to inform you that your teenager who has requested a tooth pulled and is in a lot of pain cannot have her tooth pulled because the dentist who wrote up the plan for her teeth no longer works for them and that they need to poke and prod in her mouth again to make her even more in pain. They texted my phone, had my work number on file and have all my contact information and DID NOT BOTHER TO try. They texted me on the phone number that they supposedly got no response on an hour before her appointment SO THEY HAD THE NUMBER. They have harassed me for months now about bringing my other daughter in for a cleaning when they knew that she is under an orthodontists care now with her braces and has no reason to even see them. They did not bother to send any of the files over to the other office when asked when I started the orthodontic route with my other daughter. I also asked for all the treatment plans to be emailed to me for the daughter who was in pain at the beginning of this email after her last cleaning and NOTHING WAS EMAILED. They had my email on file and my soon to be ex husbands email on file. DO not take your kids or yourself to this office unless they get some serious clue on how to treat a patient and HOW TO COMMUNICATE when the patients are under 18 years old. They sent us a hateful letter saying that they no longer want to be our dentist because WE CANNOT COMMUNICATE what the hell? Good luck.

Once again I am pleasantly surprised by the relaxed feeling I get at Howard Family Dental. I have an extreme fear of the dentist and dental procedures, ridiculous right? Well, the people at Howard Family Dental NEVER make me feel that way! From the gals behind the desk, to the assistant and Dr. Jamie herself they treat me with the upmost respect and professionalism. Why go anywhere else? They are a 5 star team and I will continue to go to them for all things dental!!!

My daughter was terribly afraid of the dentist because of her past experience. But this one was much better for her as she wasnt nervous at all, just tense. The dentist helped her feel comfortable, and even made conversation with her. A few pokes here and there, but the dentist acknowledged their actions and made sure to be as gentle as possible. Thank you guys, I appreciate your hard work.

Broke a tooth. Just moved to Beaufort three months ago and had no dentist here. Called Howard because they were “in-network “. They fit me in right away. Pleasant and helpful staff with lots of smiles. Dr. Ian was businesslike, explained what was happening and focused on doing a professional job. Solicitous about my comfort, I felt no pain. I had a great experience.

Went to the dentist because of tooth pain on a Monday. It took until Wednesday for the doctor to correct an antibiotic prescription that they filled out improperly. By the time the office bothered to correct their mistake, the tooth was inflamed and oozing and patient was loosing sleep due to the delay, exacerbating a problem and magnifying it. Office was already irritated with the patient for asking for the correction to be made every day, so the pharmacy could fill out the antibiotics and refused to give a prescription for pain AFTER the three day delay. Ends up they didnt even forward a referral that they suggested, by Thursday.Dont bother with your canned response of offering to talk about our problems over the phone, we know you lie now. You abuse people in pain.

I am a new client & it has been a while since Ive seen a dentist. Check in was very easy, with the covid protocols things went smoothly. I didnt have to wait but maybe 3 minutes. The initial exam & xrays was very informative. I felt confident in the diagnosis given (I knew something was going on with my teeth) they got me a treatment plan together & explained the process. Scheduling is easy & they have good availability!! I called the day before my initial appointment & they got me in the very next day! I am very happy I was referred to Howard Family Dental. This will be my dentist from now on!!!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Dr.Barnard is kind, calm, and reassuring. If anxiety is an issue they offer sedation, and it is worth it. You can schedule numerous procedures at once and not have to deal with repeat visits.

The staff was very friendly in my fear of having the procedure done. They reassured me everything would be alright in this time of Pandemic that we are having. Everything was clean and sterilized. which made me feel at ease.

I spent 6hrs. In the Dentist office due to over booking. They should have been paying me for the hours I missed from work 🙄 Also they dont know what theyre doing with billing. Watch your paperwork they will try to bill for services not done. Dr. Barnard was great just spread thin.

I usually cant stand going to the dentist, but Dr. Barnard was great. I was in a lot of pain and needed a tooth pulled, and he was able to do it quickly. The entire staff was great and didnt make me feel uncomfortable at all. I highly recommend!

I had an emergency, I thought I had cracked my tooth. Dr. Adam was out of town but I was told I could go to the Beaufort office. The staff were very courteous. I saw Dr. Hankla. He was great! He could have told me I had to have a filling only to go to Dr. Adam and find out I need a crown. Instead, he did a temporary filling until I can get into Dr. Adam. He was very thorough and took his time showing me exactly what was going on! I would highly recommend this practice!

Because of that, I had pushed off my oral care for about a year and a half until I finally decided to schedule an appointment. I was extremely nervous about going to the dentist after having such a bad experience the last time I went. After the doctor nudged me to go I made an appointment. The staff there were great! They calmed my nerves and were very helpful. Dr. Barnard was very calming and went over everything he did in detail and what I needed to have done. I had to be referred out to an oral surgeon due to allergies but they handled all of that for me. Great experience!

Everyone was very polite and corteaous. I was tended to almost immediately and the dental staff provided me with the information that I needed to continue with a healthy smile.

I broke a back tooth and HFD was the only practice out of five I called who could get me in quick. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Ian surgically removed the tooth with no pain and his assistant explained everything they were doing. I will definitely be going back!

I am embarrassed to say that I had not been to a dentist office in 6 or 7 years. Howard Dental did an excellent job with my exam, cleaning and cavity fillings. The dental hygienist stayed late after closing time to finish cleaning my teeth. She did a beautiful job and accomplished more than I dreamed possible. I had 2 cavities. The visit to fill those was also a breeze. So thankful for finding this office for my dental needs.

He pays attention to every detail of his work and makes sure you are comfortable throughout the procedures including crowns and dental implants, for which he can do due to his advanced certifications. I was a little disappointed that One of the ladies who I am used to us gone. But, overall ok is always a pleasant experience for me when I go there for treatment. The office manager is just awesome and very attentive. Dr. Bernard explains things very well.

The staff at the front desk and the technician that helped the dentist was great, but the dentist got upset because I was a hard case.When I had pain he told me I have to brave. I didn’t like that comment and I felt that he was upset with me for having pain. I don’t pay to have pain during a procedure and deal with a bad attitude.

Amazing!! Over the weekend, I had some severe tooth pain, to the point where it was unbearable. I was concerned I would not be able to see a dentist on such short notice. I called Howard family dental, explained how much pain I was in and if there was anything they could do to see me today, she told me to come in, in a hour... (that by itself I couldnt believe). The front desk people were awesome!, they were very nice and you could tell they enjoyed what they do. Dr. Squicquero explained what he thought was the problem, even to the detail that was understandable to me and he was very personable and professional. I ended up getting a root canal the same day!! (any other dentist would have gave me a prescription to pain med and i would have had to make a appointment). Dentist usually bring me a high level or anxiousness and stress, today was completely different.... I will be switching to Howard, look forward to the next time! Thanks for be Amazing!!

The worst Dental office ever, thieves. Watch out this place is dishonest. Answer: Two years ago you had a telephone system that was worthless. We canceled those appointments through your phone system. We worked out issues with your office manager at the time. Now two years later you collect by keeping money you owe us. We tried to work it out yesterday but the knucklehead behind the counter was trying to win no matter what, and could have cared less about what was right. But thats OK, cause i got eight kids and me and my wife, so you just lost 10 patients because of poor service, and thats too bad cause your dental work is fine, its just your administration is a complete mess. What I want Is the money returned to me that your office stole from my wife through your negligent record keeping. You know my email if you want to contact me.

I walked into howard Johnson expecting the same treatment as every other dentist which was nada but the met me with a smile we filled out the paperwork and withing minutes i was in the chair dr.ian barnard and his assistant morgan where a huge help they talked me through everything they made me aware of possible damages or side effects and got straight to work 4 teeth removed in what felt like 15min yall were amazing thank you both very much

My experience with Howard Family Dental, was the best I’ve ever had. For someone who is terrified of the dentist, everyone made me feel so comfortable. A real home like feeling. I’m new to the area and had an emergency come up before the weekend on Friday. I searched for dentists on Google and not only did they have a great rating, but they also informed me about being LGBTQ friendly. That meant so much to me, being that I wanted my future wife there for moral support. I called as soon as the emergency came up on friday and they were able to complete the work Monday. I highly recommend Howard Family Dental!

The dentist is great. But he ordered a prescription of pain killer then changed his mind because the phaen5 pharmacy said I have pain patches and tramadol for back injury. I rarely use them. In fact no one consuted with me on this. Also none of this would have happened if the former dentist at Howarf Dentist hadnt put the cap on crooked wcgl out

New to this establishment but the few times I have been there, they have been extremely nice, taken me at my appointment time and have addressed any concerns I have had!

I really like this dentist. They made me feel compleatly comfortable while getting my wisdom teeth removed.

I brought my daughter in and they took an X-ray and sent her home in pain no medication anything the new doctor at this location wasn’t helpful at all.
