It’s not often I feel I can give Lowe’s a high rating.Today Rick in plumbing provided excellent customer service. He was professional, efficient and had a sense of humor. The ladies at check out (unfortunately I didn’t get their names) were also very good. Please keep hiring good people!

Beaufort is lucky to have multiple really good hardware stores. Lowes is one of them, and the closest one for me today. My stop here, like all of them usually are, was a simple in and out. Very pleased.. :-)

About 2 hours ago I had a wonderful experience at my Beaufort Lowes. Leslie and Beth each went above and beyond in courteous and professional customer service. Please pass my thanks and praise for their helpful assistance in a fairly large purchase. Beth even followed us outside and helped load the trailer!

I love shopping at Lowes! It has so much to offer. They have most anything you need and good prices. My husbands toilet needed to be replaced one night and we got there like 45 minutes before they closed. It was a 50 mile ride for us. It was after Christmas holiday and I found a large Christmas angel for like 90 percent off. That was a table top angel but I love it! The store offers most anything you need! JM

This was just bad After standing around over an hour before anybody would help us. The incredibly overwhelmed department worker finally got to us. Nothing online match what they had in the store . Is the worst customer service ever ever multiple employees looked at me and a group of people standing and just kept going. Being African American It wasnt a race thing they were all horrible black-and-white. We were prepared to buy our appliances on the spot lost sales didnt mean much to them. All I can say is I hope they get better and were still looking for a new washer and dryer.

Only 1 staff member greeted us & offered assistance. This cashier that rung us overcharged us $200 because she keep scanning the same item multiple times. Glad I was paying attention.

I would give zero stars for this experience. We were really interested in looking for kitchen remodeling with Lowe’s. We Approached a Michelle Brown in the department and she was absolutely no help. I asked for more information to the process to go through Lowe’s or even what they offer, Michelle Brown had an unprofessional attitude, work ethic and did not care to help. She didn’t even hesitate to show that she was uninterested in our buy. They are honestly no help & no knowledge in their department they work in. Workers are there just collecting a check.

Nobody ever knows the correct isle stuff is located on. You can ask 3 different employees and that all send you in a different direction. That is very annoying having to go from one end of the store to the other. I really hate coming to your store.

Set up fence to be installed at my house by their contractor. Purchased material and paid ahead for labor and material with a 4 week scheduled installation. Material delivered to property with no contractor ever showing to install. I called Lowes with zero help. They actually came back to the house and removed the material. I call corporate and they tell me fence will be installed in a couple weeks and will redeliver material. I just got a full refund of the materials and labor that I paid for a couple months ago. Here I am at square one with no fence and prices have increased on material. DO NOT RECOMMEND this Lowes!

It is a Lowes thats in a convenient location three stars. Unfortunately thats all they get because they do not have a knowledgeable staff, now they wont up and leave you if they dont know What youre talking about. But the employees really got to start doing research on their product. Last but not least how on a busy afternoon do they only have register one open. self check out with two scanners down, and two other registers open.

If this store is in Beaufort, SC then theyre lucky they even get 2 stars from me. My wife and I were looking for a husqvana chainsaw for her daughter and husband for a house warming gift. The staff couldnt locate the two chainsaws that showed up on the computer in store. If we had paid for one at the time when we were in town, they told us that they wouldnt order anymore until they had found the two that were missing and it couldve taken up to two months for an in store pickup, so we didnt purchase one there. We came back to Panama city, Fl to our LOWES STORE and what a great team we have here.!!!

Evening staff in paint section needs to be better!! 2 employees standing there and not one can ask if you need help..... no wonder you are gong down hill!!! Also over 2 hours to buy a lawnmower!! No one knew anything, waited at checkout for 30 minutes just to find out they didnt have what we wanted, after they tried to charge us for it. The person helping us was back in his department talking on phone instead of coming back to tell us they didnt have it!!! Rude, and very poor customer service!!! Fix yourselves!

I do not even know where to begin with this store. I have had so many bad experiences in different departments, but appliances and delivery have got to be the worst! This store needs a manager (s) to start over and organize this place. It is more productive to drive to Bluffton to Home Depot than deal with this place.

Garden Department is a 5 +…but it stops there! There is never anyone to help, especially in the lumber department and don’t think about having any cuts made! If the saw is not down (which seems to be always), they will only make one cut. I’m heading to the Home Depot in Bluffton for my needs!

We purchased a grill at this Lowe’s, cashier called for assistance to bring us a grill and we waited for over 10 minutes and had asked twice for assistance. Well Ms Monica who we were told that was to assist us finally appeared very slowly with a customer/friend and just stared at us with great attitude then proceeded to move at snail pace to unlock the the grill. Then Ms Monica yelled for “Larry” to move the grill to us and he didnt even load the grill. My husband and I loaded the grill. If she was having a bad day for what ever reason, then I get it but the HUGE attitude was NOT necessary. Find another job because this is not your happy place apparently.

I just want to say that I am blown away by the customer service I received at my local Lowe’s yesterday. Mr. Tom Mc Mahon and Mrs Diera Newberry were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and personable with my experience yesterday buying a band new washer and dryer. They did everything efficiently and timely to get me what I came for and I truly appreciate it!

Finding assistance was difficult. Im not sure if it was because it was a Sunday afternoon. There was no one to assist us with anything. Hopefully our next shopping experience will be better.

Was not able to order online or find what I needed in store. Happens a lot at Lowes. Ended up ordering from a different company. Lowes disappoints me a lot lately.

Their service is terrible. Ive had an online order placed since November and Ive still not received an answer as to where it is or when it will be delivered. I call and wait on gold for 45min- an hour. They tell me it will be next day. Then they never show. I would have cancelled but I need this material to finish my floors and can not get it anywhere else. Ill never order from them again.

Good god I waited for over one hour to even talk to someone at the appliances department. If one lady hadnt complained about it, who knows how much longer we would have waited. There was only one employee there and he was new, so theres that, plus other employees walked by without even acknowledging our presence.

Went to pick up curbside and called the store to bring it out. I got 0 answer. The phone rang over 8 times and my fiance had to go in. Why offer this service if youre not going to provide it? Just a bunch of lazy chickens working there and flapping out of their zones so they dont have to help anyone. Ill continue to buy what I need elsewhere.

Garden section closed at 6:45pm during Christmas season? Even the some of the garden shops (Buds & Blooms) are still open right now. Came by to look at wreaths & Christmas trees. Absolutely hate using in the weirdly designed front entrance & exit so ended up going somewhere else.

Maybe I’ll update this if my issue is resolved. Bought a dishwasher here and was told it was in stock. This was February 25,2021. Today I find out it isn’t in stock. Only because I called. I’ve been waiting on the installer to call me which was suppose to happen 2 business days after purchase. I had to make that call too. Nora told me Julie would call. She never did. Called Julie today and she is out of office. Finally spoke to Aaron who did a great job helping me. That’s when I found out the dishwasher was not in stock. Called Lowe’s to speak to JOHN Hurst. He was not on the schedule. But someone named Alethia answered the phone. Talk about unfriendly. She supposedly transferred me only to be disconnected. Ugh if I can find a way to not work with them I will.

My grandson loves the monthly kids D.I.Y. projects and the included patch makeshim feel that he has earned a badge for completing his project! Thanks Lowes!

Steve Brown in the appliance section was awesome! He was very knowledgeable about all washers, dryers, and stoves. He helped us pick out what was best for us and made sure we were happy with what we were getting. I tried to complete a survey on the Lowes website after receiving my products, but the survey expires within 7 days. I would give Steve 10/10 in knowledge, helpfulness, and customer service. He exceeded our expectations! My only complaint was that the managers of this store would not come and assist when the military discount affected the sale price. The store manage set his walkie-talkie phone to do not disturb when asked to assist. I later saw him riding electric scooters into the store and joking with ANOTHER manager while they were ignoring their calls and not assisting employees or customers who needed help. I still give them 5 stars because STEVE worked with us to get the best deal and came up with other strategies to get the price where it was before the military discount affected the sale price.

Worst credit card experience Ive ever had. company is just bad at it. Incredibly disorganized and poor data management. Been over a month waiting to actually get a physical card, they send it to the wrong address and get information on it wrong. I received my first bill before ever getting the card. Whole experience makes me want to use the company less. I immediately paid my balance and cancelled my account

I was in the Beaufort Lowes for a last minute couple things, just before closing and at the check out i was helped by Markayla! Its late and i was having trouble with a store credit card issued earlier in the day! Markayla was so helpful and friendly! I work in the service industry and i can tell you that that last few minutes of a shift can be tough! I shop in Lowes 3 times a week and always wonder how difficult its going to be getting help! Well Markayla has restored my faith and ill be back in soon! Thanks Markayla!!!!

Always busy at Bluffton location, and you can never find an associate to help you. Know what you need before you go, and be prepared to navigate the store and locate the item yourself.

The first time we ordered appliances and the delivery crew was not able to find out house and even though they had our number, they chose not to call and cancelled our delivery appointment. When we called the store to resolve the issue, they kept hanging up on us. After calling the customer service district line we got the issue resolved. Then the second time we went in and the customer service was awful. A ton of employees just standing around, not helping you. When we did ask for help, they kept pushing us around the store to other people. Then today we went in to buy some items and come to find out they had one of the two items we needed. We went back later to pick up the one they had in stock and come to find out they sold the display to the person next to us (who was buying the same 2 items we wanted). Kinda irritated that they did not offer to sell us the display. Items are great,.customer service here needs work.

I love this Lowes store. The employees are amazing they helped me pick out the write material to repaint my tile bathroom. They are never out of stock in items. If you sign up for my Lowes you can track all the items you buy. You just give them your phone number. So if you want to return an item you go back give them your phone number again and they can pull up your receipt.(My tile was Green before)A few Lowes projects are posted below

Customer service lacks a smile, but they are well stocked and seems to have the staff available to answer questions. Just dont expect anyone to smile at you. Staff seems to be quite miserable.

Ill never buy a Samsung appliance again - the people at Samsung and XPO Logistics do not care about their customers. The XPO delivery people came to my house twice. The first time they said they were only dropping washer and dryer off not installing and said install would happen next day without asking if next day was okay. When it wasnt they closed the ticket anyway and had to get another order from Samsung so they would come out again to install. A week later than came out and didnt bring the install kit; said they would go get the parts; then changed their story and text me that they could not go and buy them. Contacted XPO Logistics who had hired this terrible subcontractor to do Samsung install, they told me the install kits were on backorder. This is 3 weeks later they finally say this. Now Im waiting for the kits. Basically a huge corporation and giant logistics company cannot drop ship parts overnight. Their escalation process will not fix anything. It just keeps starting the process over - now for the 3rd time.

Was there for about 40 minutes waiting on the guy to find a magnet to open the tool case. Then they had 0 7/16 sockets and zero 11 mm sockets.

Very helpful staff. I was in and out in minutes after finding what I was looking for. Ive also used curbside pickup and once I checked in they brought the items out in just a few minutes of waiting.

About 3 months ago I had a major flood in my apartment I need a new flooring and baseboards to be replaced. Over the course of two months I worked with Chris in flooring to replacement the flooring in my apartment. He was so helpful and knowledgeable of the product and very patient with me. He is a asset to the flooring department. I would recommend Lowes to do home improvements. If you need flooring done ask for Chris he is a jem!

Went in with my friend and her german shepherd in training. We went to leave and had an employee grab our cart and drag us back in the store after the detectors went off. Well when she noticed the dog she screamed get that thing away from me and completely terrified an already timid dog. Then had another employee come over and basically push us out of the store saying we were doing too much. Called and spoke to a manager only for her to ask well whaf do you want me to do about it. Terrible customer service and obviously not as pet friendly as they claim to be. Do not take your dogs here if you are trying to train them.

When we have purchased items from Lowes and they used an outside vendor. Lowes was done with us if there were any problems with either delivery or damage, which there was on both occasions! Once we paid, there was no urgency to help us out. Took many phone calls and weeks. Never again!

Lowes opens at 6am I go to purchase a refrigerator at that time and wait for about 20mins before someone notices me. A young man who works in another department tried to help me locate the employee who works in APPLIANCES with no luck he said come back at 9:00. I ask to speak to the manager and this lady says we are shorthanded the next person comes in at 7am puts her head back down and lets me walk out of the door. Terrible customer service.

They had only one person working in appliances that was terrible. But I made it having to take it down and up by myself to checkout.

Bought a washer, dryer, refrigerator and had them delivered. Even though the refrigerator was damaged, looks like it was dropped, the delivery crew was great. These guys unpacked the items, carried them in, hooked them (correctly) and picked up all the packing materials.Very professional crew.

I just visit them today looking for wood to build a entry table and knowing absolutely nothing about wood work.. I came across an employee called Sean. He was so helpful and very knowledgeable about what I needed. I didnt even knew what measurements I needed ..I just showed him qmwhat I wanted and he told me how much wood Ill need .. I build my table and it turned out better than I thought and didnt had lots of leftover wood ..Sean thank you for your help and patience!

We went to get lumbar for our deck. The prices were not posted on all items. It was so much difficult to figure out. We had to take those 10 feet items to front and wait in line for price check. We were almost walking out and Some manager walked by and helped us out finally. There was an experienced employee in plumbing section. He was awesome. Restrooms were closed for repair. Had spent more than 2 hours and bought about 300 $ worth lumbar and screws. I had to figureout difference between premium and standard treated wood prices as they were not there. That waiting and standing in line only to find prices had sour experience. I wish the employees walking with a barcode scanner device so that they are helpful right thereat that place. It was ok. Mixed experience. But i love lowes.

I have had nothing but issues with this particular Lowes. First I had a stove delivered and they delivery guys dropped glass in my driveway and did not tell me. I discovered it once I started to back out. Im happy I noticed it before running over it. I called to make a complaint and a message was taken by Lauren who was to pass the message to a manager named Chris. I have yet to hear anything back and it has been over a week. I also had a washer and dryer delivered 1 August and one of the guys that was on the previous run came. I asked him about the glass and he said he didnt know how it happened but then tells me that him and his partner attempted to pick up the glass and he believed it came from the stove they were picking up. They put my dryer together and Ive done two loads and I kept getting an error message d80 which means an interruption with the flow of air. I look in the back of my dryer and the aluminum hose is detached. I called to try to get service and all Im not getting an answer. The only people there that Ive encountered that go above and beyond for their customers is Ronald and Robert.

Had exactly what I was looking for.

Ordered a range and refrigerator online for in-store pickup. Within a week of placing the order, the estimated ship date reflected six weeks from the date I ordered it. Once that time elapsed, order status changed to Arriving At Store. This status remained for a full week. Repeated attempts to track down the order by store employees as well as Lowes Customer Care staff prove futile and could never locate where the items were, nor when or if they would ever actually arrive. I even asked if the items were in stock at ANY store in South Carolina so I could pick them up myself, but was told there was no inventory anywhere expected until December! These unavailable items are still listed as In-Stock and Available at Lowes of Beaufort, South Carolina today. This failure has seriously impacted by ability to show a home I desperately need to put on the market, as well as wasted seven weeks of my life. Im done with Lowes, brand quality has fallen sharply over the past few years, selection, and the complete failure of the online inventory system are now laughable. Done, customer lost!

Very helpful in placing our tile order and scrambled at the last minute to make sure we got 2 sheets of backer board included on the truck for delivery Just minutes before it was to go out. Saved us from making the drive and wasting. at least an hour and 1/2. to pick up. Hope Lowes appreciates youre customer service ethic!
