This isnt my home gym, just visiting, but i wish it was!This facility was so nice! Clean! Spacious, tvs everywhere. I really appreciated that the 30 minute Express circuit had lights around the room so you dont have to look at a specific spot to know if its green or red.Bathrooms had so many mirrors for that sweat selfie too hahaVery welcoming.

The man at the Front desk was very rude. Not helpful at all and head very rude comments. Do not recommend. He had very poor people skills and communication skills. It was vary obvious he does not like his job. The whole time I tried to keep a positive attitude and was polite. 10/10 if you need help or have any questions or interested in going here don’t! I’m not saying this gym is completely awful it’s just the site because of the workers

I only go at night so this may not apply to the day crew. The staff seems completely disinterested with the job they are being paid to do. Only a single employee was attempting to tend to the machines or clean anything. The others (there were at least 3) were content with sitting back and playing on their phones giving no regard to customers or anything else. Other than that, great gym that deserves better workers.

Was in town for 4 days. Went to buy day passes, and Shelby at the front counter was MORE than helpful. Really want to the extra mile to save me money, and make sure that I had a great experience. Although my home gym membership is NOT a Planet Fitness, I WILL be visiting my local PF gym to join. I travel all over the world and have worked out in countless gyms. This one was an absolute pleasure to be at every morning. SUPER clean, great staff, and not a single worn out or broken machine. This location is SPOTLESS. Shelby should be promoted to customer service manager for the region because she is a natural and knows how to treat new comers. Thanks for the great experience Shelby and PF! (Literally the only review Ive ever left for any gym ever visited...)

Lots of machines, weights etc. I love the rooms dedicated to specific things and the peels of being a Black card member are great too! Add that its such a reasonable price and its a winner!

I travel a lot. I have been to probably around 50 planet fitnesses. Here was the best shower I have ever used! Whoever decided to spend a bit of extra money on the shower heads thank you! I hope all planet fitness locations will follow your lead. The guy at the front was also very kind. Thanks

Gentlemen at the front was very rude I called requesting some information and the response I received “ well you already know what it is since you called us!” No sir I do not since I called but thank you Johnathan Garcia for the inconvenience and lack of professionalism. While in the background I hear someone telling him what to respond Rudely with an attitude.

I love working out here. And plus the price is great. Here you can workout all your stress and when you leave you have alot of energy to handle any situation.

Its ok. Not what I expected based upon the Planet Fitness website. I was debating getting a membership here and then my son decided to get one for me. I started my weight loss journey 6 months ago and I loss 30 lbs and a gym could help me with the last 20 I need to lose and the maintenance to keep off the weigh, but this gym isnt it. I need to do some more research before making Planet fitness my home gym.

Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great there is a older guy that constantly clean down machinery keeping the gym sanitized for all members

I really enjoy weightlifting and strength training at my local Planet Fitness.

If special hrs are posted for the holidays. It would be nice if someone showed up to open at that time. Twice in the last month, someone failed to show and open at 5. If it was my business, I would monitor this. Not good.My previous review was not responded to properly. No one (employee)was at the GYM (planet fitness) to open it. At least 10 to 15 members were waiting from 5 to 6 for it to open. 5 is the posted time and no employee showed to open it. I left at 6:30 and it still wasnt open.

I love the atmosphere, ppl are very friendly to me. Like there happy to see me when Im there working out. Which inspires me to work-out longer.

There are more cleaning stations in facility, or they are better dispersed to allow quick and easy cleaning before and after equipment use. This makes me feel very safe about visiting the gym during the pandemic. Staff is always using proper PPE and observing that all members are practicing preventative techniques to allow safe and clean environment. The Beaufort, SC Planet Fitness is definitely meeting high standards during this hard time where being in public facilities can be concerning.

Sadly I just got off of the phone with manager Tom and he has not and will not resolve my issue. I lost my job due to COVID-19 in March of this year. I called in May to cancel my membership because I had to relocate. In September I was charged. I called and spoke to Tom the manager and explained my situation and he advised me of the contract however he was aware of the improper handling of calls from the previous manager and employees. He advised me to write a letter and he would speak to his regional manager. I wrote the letter and thought the issue was resolved, only to have my account charged again for October. Today he told me that the regional manager told him they would not be able to refund me even though it was not my fault. Most companies would have not only refunded my money but definitely not continue to charge me. It is really terrible how these companies continue to benefit from clear mistakes in their untrained employees and fail in the area of customer recovery!!!!

I go to planet about 4 oclock in the morning the overall the Amanda works overnight she is always pleasant to deal with

The equipment was clean and everything seemed to be in working order. There was a little bit of a delay waiting for a staff member at The customer service desk however for most people that will not be an issue since they have contactless check in with your phone. We had to do a guest check in which took just a little bit longer. The staff was extremely friendly. Im not particularly fond of all the slogans and no judgment signs everywhere as I think we get the point however there may be others out there that appreciate them. Overall a decent place to work out, although nothing extraordinary to make them particularly stand out.

Definitely a lot of improvement since the last time we went to this location! Staff was much more pleasant and polite. Sanitizer more readily available than previously. Appreciate their efforts and continuous improvement

Not crowded got in a good workout

I absolutely LOVE 💕 the Beaufort, SC location! The equipment is clean. The floors swept, the paper towel/cleaner stand is stocked and when it’s not and you make the staff on-shift aware, you go back to the same station later and it’s fully restocked. The women’s locker room is almost-always clean and kept that way. Paper towels sometimes overflow the trash cans and the floors could be swept more often, but overall, clean and plenty of lockers to store your personal items. Certain staff members could use a “smile-at-work-more” training class, but overall, they are nice and helpful. This gym has helped change my life and I couldn’t be more grateful!

The place is always clean. They have friendly staff, and the place is never crowded. I wish they had a indoor sauna.

Planet Fitness Beaufort is a great place to work out. It is very clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and they are always cleaning. The social distancing measures are in place with plenty of cleaning stations and hand sanitizer. Lots of equipment available means no waiting.

Great place to workout! The staff members that Ive encountered are pretty awesome. They have a great training program and trainers. Ive had the pleasure of working with Kristen. Shes always motivated and wanting to push you to do better in everything there.The locker room is definitely something to brag on as well. Always clean, and the showers are way above average for a gym, at least any that Ive been to. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone who is looking to take the steps to better themselves.

I love working out here. I love the trainers that works there. Kristin is awesome, and so is Nate. Im prior military, and Nate makes me feels like I never left. His workouts are awesome! He never does the same exercise. His core class has helped me with reaching my goals in so many different ways. I always like how he explains which part of the body each exercise is targeting. I always leave Nates classes feeling like my gym goal for that day has been accomplished! If your one whos at the gym to play games, and not workout I would advise you not to take his class. Hes serious about what he does, and I love it!

Tom, Clay, and the team at PF Beaufort do an awesome job of ensuring the JFZ is comfortable, non-intimidating, and clean!

Maria is the best Gym Manager around! Fitness Trainer Kristen really knows her stuff and is a great motivator. These ladies really make your gym experience that much better with their attentiveness, friendliness and enthusiasm! Great facility filled with awesome staff. Highly recommend!

Stay away!!I stopped my membership. I had the manager write me a letter stating this, just so I would have proof. I’m still be charged monthly. I have called for 2 months and they say well your account shows closed so you shouldn’t be. Well it is steadily coming out of my account each month.They say we will have that stopped and get you a credit. NEVER has happened.They will steal your money any way they can!

Clean friendly and the price is right

Staff was nice, other patrons were great and I found all the workout machines I use fantastic. And its 24 hours too... awesome!

The cost is cool, but I am disappointed that a good portion of the cardio machines dont work correctly, most of them just shut off if you even seem like you might pause the workout... others reset randomly... this place hasnt been open long enough to have this sort of problem!And the lack of concern the staff shows regarding such issues is just sad. Paying members, such as myself, struggle to find decent, properly working equipment.

I have been going here for about a year now. I absolutely love it. The crew is nice and the trainer is awesome.

The energy level in here is zero.. Its hard enough to stay motivated to work out so Im disappointed in that. But Im new to gyms and this may be normal. For me....Its non motivating and boring.

Love my Planet Fitness, my only complaint would be better maintenance on tanning beds. At Bluffton location tanning bed 10 has had a bulb out for over a month. Surely it doesnt take over a month to replace a bulb.. Staff is always friendly though.. Thank you

Brand new gym beats the Dallas locations by a mile. The machines are great, the hydrotherapy beds are nice and the shower room is better situated (unlike my Marsh Ln location). I actually saw a trainer every day with a class, which I never see in Dallas in the early morning. I visited for the month of July and loved the Beauty Angel machine - have no idea if it really works, but hey, ask about it. The guy working the early morning shift (5:30am) is not very friendly, but the staff that relieves him are very friendly and helpful. Im going to hate going home next week! Only Black Card members can use clubs outside their home gym, just a reminder.

On 4/8/2019 I came in to a new fitness schedule which was very discouraging due to no consistency and lack of structure. I along with many others liked the schedule before due to being able to take classes before work; which is the reason I joined. This schedule seems to be all over the place and did not take into consideration of the normal working class. I will definitely be canceling this membership.

Love working here and teaching classes. Its so fun hearing stories of those that Ive helped reach goals!

Its great! It is packed from 4ish until 8ish and there are a couple of machines that need fixing but other than that I LOVE IT. Its just a great place to get in zone and not think about anyone else but you and your body.

Great gym. Very large. Has tons of equipment for beginners to intermediate gym goers. The staff can be a bit stand offish at times but I put it down to the place being new.UPDATE: Through the entirety of the pandemic they refuse to allow people to cancel their memberships online. You have to go in person (which once again... Pandemic) or mail them a letter.This is a predatory practice and should be illegal. Not to mention if you dont have anything in your checking account when they try to take your money, you end up with a bounced check fee...

I was working out today at a different gym, a short distance from your location. I was facing a huge window when a man walked up, started pointing at the sign outside of the gym. He opened his jacket and pointed to his shirt which read planet fitness staff. He then held up both of his middle fingers at me and other people inside my gym. Horribly unprofessional. If this is the type of people you hire the community should know.
