Simply the best! Ive used them for shoe shines, shoe repair, even luggage repair, and they handle it all quickly, professionally, brilliantly, and cheaply. In fact, its so cheap that sometimes I feel like Im stealing from them. No reason to look or go anywhere else, as they simply cant be beat.

I brought in my mothers bag in to be repaired. Mind you she passed over ten years ago and this bag had been unattended for a long time. The repairmen proposed a price, gave me a ticket and off I went. When I was in entering my car, the owner came out into the parking lot calling my name. My mother had left over sixty dollars in the bag. I had no idea and I thanked them profusely for the finding it and returning it to me. When I picked up the bag a week later, it was like new. This little Pappagallo purse has new lease on life! And it is taking my siblings out to breakfast with the money it held for my mom the past ten years. Honest, fair, and good workmanship. I’ve been taking my shoes here for more than 10 years even though there are shoe repair locations far closer to my home. I require a 1/2 inch lift in my right shoe. The quality and the results are the best.

This is a great place to bring your shoes if you need them cleaned or repaired ! I brought in my air max 270’s and they made them look brand new and these shoes stain very easy and aren’t simple to clean because the colors will strip right off. They did an amazing job.

Excellent work. Repaired a hole in my Allen Edmond Chelsea boots and re-soled my Allen Edmonds loafers. Even dyed my white sneakers (NikexFragment) too! All my shoes look practically brand new. Would highly recommend this shop for any shoe repair. Prices are very fair for the quality of work.

I have never been to this shoe repair prior to Saturday,nor will I return. My high expectation of service and quality, based on ratings and demographic location, were severely disappointing. I presented with a brand new pair of leather Nine West sandals and requested to have the ankle strap extended by 1 and quarter inch. I asked if this was possible, I was told, anythings possible, I advised after he inquired if I was attrned a special event, I stated unfortunately I was attending a funeral that afternoon. So the importance was established, I was charged $27.00, which I thought was a high price, but due to the time constraints and the level of expertise, ok I prepaid in full. I returned 3 hours later to a butchered, ruined pair of shoes. I was highly disappointed, my expectation of quality work was just as ruined as my shoes. But the excuse given, floored me..I was told because of the Cheap material made from china, was the reason my shoes were in such poor disrepair. I told him he Ruined, my brand shoes, they are butchered and scuffed.In returned I recieved its the materials and a shoulder shrug . No refund offered and because of the funeral time, I did not have the time to extend the conversation.im out $80.00 because of this.Go at your own risk

I brought a preloaded LV ellipse bag in for repair and cleaning. He took his time to look over it and gave me what I believed was a fair price. Took a little over a week, but I just picked up by bag today and I am very pleased. I will bring my other pieces in to him for cleaning and any repairs I may need in the future.

Great staff and excellent craftsmanship! I brought a pair of boots in to re-sole since I did not like the quality of the ones they came with. They put on some fantastic Vibram lug soles on and they look and feel great now! I will definitely be back to get the midsole replaced!

Recently had a pair of Sorel boots repaired here. The heel had come clean off after only two years and the manufacturer warranty is only for a year. After looking at them he said they would be able to repair it, I felt the price was very reasonable and the work was completely timely. I also liked when I picked them up he took the time to explain the materials Sorel used which caused the problem and how he used a different, more durable material to repair it. Overall I was impressed and will definitely return.

After my dog had destroyed my wife’s very expensive Gucci shoes. I needed to come up with a solution, I ran across their reviews and decided to give them a try. When I first got there, I spoke with john and showed him what needed done he said I came to the right place, and he sure was right. The price seemed reasonable, and he got them done a few days ahead of schedule. After picking them up I don’t know that I could be happier with his work. My wife is happy, and gets to keep wearing her favorite shoes. And I don’t have to re-home our dog, which I’m sure will mean more business to them in the future!

I took in a small leather carrying case, it belonged to my grandfather. I was getting it restored and patched for my father as a late Fathers Day gift. (Im not much of a planner.) They took genuine interest in the piece and really treated it as their own heirloom. They walked me though what they could see was wrong with the piece, mostly dry rot and it needed some patches. When I picked it up, we again went over what was done and I could see the piece was given new life. They let me know some limitations because of the repairs which was expected and also some good care tips. I was very impressed with the turn around time, around a week. And I was completely unaware of the affordability to repair it. When I presented it to my dad he was blown away. He had no idea it could look like that again. (True Hallmark moment) I cannot recommend these guys enough!

I drove from Wadsworth to bring several pairs of shoes to have the soles protected. Why?--because my first pair I took to Chagrin were a well- worn pair of Valentino booties, and they looked superb; they looked better than new. I just love how tightly fitted these guys get all the way to the edge of each and every shoe, whether its a tiny heal or a pointy red doled Louboutin heal. I highly recommend if youre going to purchase designer soft leather shoes to have them protected, and Id definitely take them to see Alex at Chagrin Shoe Repair.

The toe of one of my leather boots was in pretty bad shape. I scrapped really bad and did not think they were repairable, or at least to the level of being unnoticeable. I wish I could remember the owners name. It was first time and he did a fabulous job and the really bad damage was unnoticeable.

I had almost lost hope for my LV bag- it needed help. I even tried the Louis Vuitton store… They told me there was not much they could do. The owner took one look at my bag, and said I can fix this. They cleaned the inside and the out and it looks almost new. It’s a 10 year old leather LV. They called me a week before I was expecting it to be ready. Great service all around.

Great experience, my sandal with a cork heel was eaten by our dog. I had no hope. I brought them in and they came back like new!

Pre-Covid, I took a pair of suede loafers with a broken buckle to them and they did a great job fixing them. I have also taken mens dress shoes and boots here for re-soles and new heels which have also held up well thus far.For work boots, I only wear Red Wings and I recently took a pair here for a complete re-sole. Since these boots take a lot of abuse, I was hesitant taking them anywhere other than the manufacturer, but unrelated circumstances did not allow that anymore. Chagrin Shoe Leather & Luggage Repair put on new Vibram soles that were even more rugged than the OEM soles (they also cleaned and treated my boots). Over the past nine months of Covid lockdowns, this shop has remained open and promptly met all of my footwear needs, remaining professional and complying with mask regulations and keeping a clean shop.If you want to shop locally and sustainably, I highly recommend taking your shoes here for repair before throwing them away and buying new. They have done a great job giving new life to my work boots and dress shoes alike.

Chagrin shoe repair is by far the best! My husband ruined his brand new shoes by getting them scratched under a door. He was ready to throw them out.
