Do not go here unless you wanna be lied to and over charged and told problems that your vehicle has that it really dont. I used to go to this place because I thought they were trust worthy. I took my vehicle here because my belt broke they told me I had to replace my ac compressor because it locked. That the repair bill was gonna be 800 dollars. Well I didnt pay the repair bill only the diagnosis fee for a problem I knew that it had. so I got my vehicle to have a second mechanic a friend of mine look at it and right away he told me the ac compressor was good that it just needed a belt. fixed the problem myself for 20 dollars the cost of the belt. I checked the ac compressor wheel and it wasnt locked. Keep in mind maybe a couple weeks before my belt broke i took my vehicle to this place to have the spark plugs changed. It will be best if you stay away from these crooks.(Replying to the owner) The name the vehicle was under was my girl friend Bianca Chavez. The intent is clear as day and it was to over charge for problems yall were clearly making up. 7 months later and the ac compressor is working just fine. Also notice to everybody reading this two weeks prior of my belt breaking/slipping off I took my car there to replace my spark plugs.

Towed my car there. Came out worse than ever. Worse now than before. And I got griped out for saying so.

So glad I found this shop. They were honest and up front about what needed to be done. I agreed to the repairs and am very happy with their work. I highly recommend this shop for any car repair needs. I wont go anywhere else from now on.

Words cannot even express how grateful I am to have found this shop!!! I prayed that God would lead me to somewhere to get my car fixed because the Hyundai dealership was going to charge me almost $900 to put on my alternator and a belt and was told it would take 2 days to get my car back LITERALLY!! So He lead me to Kens Automotive!! I paid $522 and got my car back in almost 4 hours!! Hands down no doubt I never trust man or my own assumptions, but I do trust Gods direction to people He knows that can be trusted!! Whoever reads this will not be disappointed!! Thank Kens Automotive for being you!!

Talked to one of the guys here at the body shop that needs some mechanical work done on my 98 blazer. I was being told by Precision Auto Repair that these are the mechanical issues that Im facing. Im not degrading Precision Auto repair at all. Not on here 4 all that. But $2300 versus $1100 is something that Im totally against. Not only that, half of those issues was not even on the vehicle. I do tip my hats off 2 these guys 4 helping me out on spending $2300. Thanks a bunch, your the best and I do recommend these guys 2 anybody that is looking 2 get your vehicle worked on.

AC was not working right. Arrived at 4:30They close at 5. Added Freon. Told me it needs a valve they did not have in stock. The valve was sticking. Told me to come back in the morning. Tried to pay my bill and was told they would get it tomorrow when I came in. Went back in the morning. Was charged $30:00. Great service. I recommend them.

As my daddy would say, “When you find a good, honest mechanic and not a parts changer, keep em!” Kens Auto is exactly that. I wouldn’t recommend them if I didn’t use them myself. And yes I use them myself. Just recently had my truck repaired for what I thought were bad O2 sensors which turned out to be bad catalytic converters. Go figure 🤷🏿‍♂️

My car broke down at Winnie, TX, about 50miles from Ken’s shop. I called Ken around 10am and told him I would like my alternator replaced the same day so I can get to Austin, TX the same day. He promised he’ll take care of me, gave me the towing company phone number to get the car to his garage, and he ordered the part before I got there around 12:30pm. When I arrived one of his employees immediately started to work on the car with a big smile and they replaced the alternator in less than two hours. By 2:30 I was already on the road. What a fantastic service! Ken’s shop came through for me in critical situation and they won my trust. I highly recommend them for all your car service needs!

Had my air conditioner evacuated and recharged, drove around town and it wouldnt blow cold while driving. Went back and told him what was happening, he said they put the vehicle info in the computer and the machine does the rest, told me I probably had a bad part(all parts were brand new) or electrical problem. Went and spent another $80 on a sensor, didnt fix the problem. Started tracing wires, didnt find anything. Went on a wild goose chase trying to find the problem, when all was said and done, I paid them $178 to do the recharge, $80 on a sensor, and spent all this time and money and come to find out all it needed was a can of freon. So another $40. Not sure if its machine error or personnel error but Im not happy and probably wont get my money back. Ill never stop foot back in this place and will not recomend that anybody go there either.
