I HAVE TO ADMIT IT STRAIGHT OFF !! I JUST MOVED TO THE WEST SIDE OF TOWN. WHICH MEANS, IVE BEEN GOING TO THE ACE HARDWARE THAT IS LOCATED ON THAT SIDE OF TOWN. FOR OVER 30 YEARS, IVE ONLY BEEN IN THIS ACE HARDWARE ABOUT 5 TIMES. COMPARE THAT TO NO LESS THAN 450 TIMES TO THE OTHER! I USED TO HELP MY BROTHER FLIP OLD HOUSES, SO WE MADE A TON OF RUNS TO PICK UP MATERIALS WE REQUIRED.AFTER MY VISIT HERE, I DONT SEE MYSELF CROSSING THE BRIDGES TO GET TO THE ACE HARDWARE! THESE FOLKS WERE PHENOMENAL! I HAD A BIG OL LIST OF WANTS ON THIS TRIP. I ENDED UP STARTING AT ONE SIDE OF THE HARDWARE AND WORKING MY WAY TO THE OTHER END. THE GUYS WERE EXCELLENT. IF THE GUY I WAS TALKING TO WASNT SURE OF THE ANSWER, HE GOT THE EXPERT IN THAT DEPARTMENT TO HELP ME. I MUST HAVE WENT THRU EVERY WORKER IN THE BUILDING! BUT, WHEN THE LIST WAS FINISHED, I HAD TRULY THE EXACT ITEMS FOR THE PRICE I WANTED TO PAY. THAT MEANS, I DIDNT BUY THE MOST EXPENSIVE ITEM, BUT I GOT THE ITEM THAT WOULD FILL MY NEEDS! I PARKED DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING AND I LIKED THAT BECAUSE MY DOG WAS IN MY JEEP AND COULD OCCASIONALLY LOOK OUT TO CHECK ON HIM. ( DONT WORRY, I HAD THE JEEP RUNNING WITH THE AIR ON FULL BLAST FOR HIM! ). WHEN I WASNT CHECKING ON HIM, THE STORE HAD THEIR BIG FEROCIOUS ( JUST JOKING ), BEAUTIFUL GOLDEN RETRIEVER KEEPING AN EYE OUT!!I TRULY ENJOYED MY VISIT AND WONT BE TRAVELING TOO FAR FROM HOME TO MY NEW ACE HARDWARE !!!NICE DOGGY 🦴🐕

So far, Ive interacted with a younger guy and an older the guy. The younger guy is nice, but the older guy wasnt the best when I went in. He seems pretty overbearing and wouldnt leave me alone when I was looking, and then bluntly told me what I already know when I did let him help. Definitely not great.The store itself is tiny, but fine.

These guys were a hidden gem to me. We stopped in to get a piece of glass cut and saw everything else they have to offer. Done my last two projects using everything I got from these guys. They have a ton of inventory and just about anything you can think of. Super helpful and friendly staff as well. Great place to spend $ locally

I’m Gen Boomer, so of course I love a local business that provides great customer service. This place is lodged in an historic building, is charming as f***. I have mostly replaced my big-box shopping habit with patronage here. Wish they were open Sundays.Any phone or in-person encounter is very courteous and helpful. In fact, Unclaimed Freight folks proffer advice and recommendations that make ya feel like family.I could not recommend them more.

My son dropped of my chainsaw to have it turned up and sharpened. Its been ready for over a week according to the guy I talked to on the phone. Not only was he rude to me on the phone when I called to check on it, but had the audacity to lie to me saying he called. I can prove that he didnt call but he couldnt prove that he did. Then when I went to pick it up the other guy treated me with such disrespect that I will never recommend these guys. Apparently Ace is not the place for helpful hardware folks.

Just bought a nice new Turo mower. Love the store and people. Definitely recommend over a bigger store like the Home Depot

Excellent parts department. Jeff and Kevin I vary good at what they do and are very knowledgeable. Very clean store. I drive an hour for the service its worth every penny. I like to support local businesses and have been a loyal customer to Unclained Freight Ace hardeware for decades. However I was there Wed. May 20th.and none of the employees were wearing face masks . Because they seem to have so little care for the health of their customers or employees I will NEVER return.

My husband and I can get everything we need here. From bathtub faucet washers to lawn mowers and grass seed. What a knowledgeable team in there. We bought a zero turn mower and a push mower, they are wonderful. I think it was the manager in there, that knew exactly what we needed for our faucet fix. He knew his business very well. Thanks Unclaimed Freight, well be back. Several people we know have bought many items here and were satisfied also, great place.

I have been frequenting this store for over 30 yrs now, and the few bad reviews that you have made me laugh. Sounds like some people just have a personal problem. Always very helpful and knowledgable. Last year Mike fixed that Mantis of mine that I was ready to throw out in the trash because I had spent so much over the 6 or so prior years to get it fixed, only to have it not start again the next spring. Totally blew my mind when it started right up this spring on the first pull AND continued to run the rest of the time that I was using it. I was so frustrated with that thing that I even left it out in my little greenhouse over the winter and the pretty shiny bars got rusty. I regret that now, but was just going to trash it. NEVER disappointed with this store or the service. Its a rather pleasant visit, since I have known a few of the employees for so many years now

I went in and got a window cut, after it was cut I took it home and realized they made a mistake, I told them one of the cuts were wrong and an employee helped me, next thing I know the man who cut it walks up to me asks whats wrong. I tell him he cut it wrong and he tells me that he didnt cut it wrong because he wrote down those numbers. He didnt apologize for his mistake he told me I was the one who made a mistake. I will never buy anything from this establishment again due to this employee being so rude. I didnt mind that he made a mistake, I dont like a person who blames someone else for a mistake they made.
