Rays Bike Shop made my dreams come true! Picked up the only Surly Ogre I could find in the whole state of Michigan here a couple of weeks ago. The guys that work at Rays let me put the bike on hold over the phone, and after trying it in store a couple of days later, the bike was mine! Super easy process, helpful people, and felt like a very special experience. I love my new bike :)

Hats off to the guys in bay city. They went out of their way to build a bike for my sons bday. I didnt even ask just ordered online and they had it built next day. They even drove to another store to get the training wheels.

I had my first bike build done at Ray’s Bike Shop in Bay City. It was awesome working with Cory!! He guided me through the process and helped educate me on different components. It was an absolute pleasure, and my new gravel bike came out totally gnarly! It is my first steel bike, and I couldn’t be happier!! Steel is real! The build went so well, we are working on another build for my wife; she is getting a sweet mountain bike! Happy trails!

Went to pick up a bicycle for my girlfriend. We were looking to spend up to $850. We are new to the hobby and don’t know much about great quality bikes let alone bike sizes. My girlfriend chose a bike that was one size too small, the worker laughed at her and said that bike is too small. We thought, it’s kind of funny but let’s keep looking. He didn’t help us find a size for her so we asked if they could order the same TREK bike in a size bigger. He just laughed and said they could not do it. He then offered us a different color in midland and stopped talking to us. We were laughed at for a solid 20 mins at Rays. We went to Chicki and Chippi and bought an amazing bike for a great price. They have lifetime repairs on the bikes as well as adjustments. Do not waste your time here unless you like immature 40+ year olds. I guess we should have been more laid back considering these are old men working at BICYCLE shops lol

They are by far the best bike shop in the area.Corey Jordan and Chris are very knowledgeable about what they sell. They also ride everything they sell. Ive never brought a bike in there that they couldnt fix and when theyre done its like brand new. Cory has to be one of the best bike builders in the state of Michigan. I just bought a new Salsa Warbird they customize the bike to fit my style and made it into one of the most awesome bikes Ive ever owned. I also like going on their mountain bike rides that they post on Facebook. Thanks again a very happy customer.

Had a flat tire this morning and took my bike into Rays as soon as they opened. The technician took care of me right away, replaced my punctured tube and got me on my way, less than 30 minutes. Great service at a fair price. Nice to have small businesses like Rays in Bay City.

I cant say enough great things about this shop and those who work there. No other bike shop makes me feel as comfortable or is as welcoming. They are there to help and very knowledgeable. They dont push sales on you. Theyve ordered me items on a number of occasions. I cant even count how many times theyve helped me out with a fix or answered a question over the phone for me. I dont ever write reviews, but this Bay City location is top notch and just want to say this is the place to go.

If you are a bike enthusiast and in the tri city area I suggest you try Rays Bike Shop. Not enough is the staff very knowledgeable but extremely helpful and friendly. I took my 2 year old nephew in and let him try the strider bike and both young gentlemen that were working approached us to see if we needed help. They even adjusted the seat for us. He rode the bike the entire time we were there. Great place!

Great professional bike shop. They always take care of my family and I whether it be special ordering a bike, renting or demo a bike to try first or just tuning up a bike that is skipping gears. They support and participate in local community cycling events as well which shows their passion in their jobs. I am glad they opened a location in Bay City!

Bike was taken there Monday said it would be ready Friday . Went to pick it up have not touched it yet. Said they usually call when it is done. No one told me that. Poor service.
