I had a severe gas leak on my Chevy cobalt it is a common thing for those cars, I took my car to Raymond’s auto repair on Columbus Ave. he was very unprofessional, complained about his life for over an hour. Took my car to get looked at he calls me couple hours later yelling telling me my car is leaking gas like crazy and I need to pick it up. And as I get it he says the same thing like I KNOW THATS WHY I TOOK IT IN. Priced me $600!!!! To fix it, so I called George’s they were very professional and friendly fixed it for $300 half the price Raymond priced me. Had it fixed in 2 1/2 days! Great place highly recommend and definitely will be going back for more repairs on my car!

We take our work fleet vehicles there and recently they weren’t able to completely repair the problem due to no fault of their own (engine damage requiring replacement) they got the vehicle going and fully explained the issue. I read the positive reviews and expected a good experience. However, I quickly learned that it was not to be. I had an appointment in the AM, so I dropped it off the night before. I waited 8 hours to hear from them and when I didnt, I called them. My car hadnt even been looked at yet. When I asked if it would be completed that day, as was my expectation, he told me to just come and get my car. Apparently, he did not take kindly to me asking a pertinent question! Very poor customer service. Very poor attitude. I will not recommend this auto repair to anyone I know.

Recently: My fiancé called 2 weeks out to have a heater core replaced in my vehicle. The man he spoke to stated the repair would take 6-8 hrs. and if there was any problems a day at the most; he also stated if we dropped the car off the night before or the next morning when they opened they would get it in right away and start on it cause its a big job. We dropped it off that morning the day it was scheduled @ 8a with the parts for the repair. I called in the afternoon shortly after 2p on the same day I dropped it off to see if there was any problems and if they needed me to drop off any other parts. The man told me you know this will take a week and I wont be able to get your car to you till next week; he also stated they didnt even pull my car in to start it yet. He proceeded to tell me at that time they only had 1 person to do heater cores and they have put him on diagnostics as well. So my problem with all of this is I took 2 days off of work to get this repair done because of the time frame I was told when it would be done. My car sat the entire day in the parking lot without being looked at. When we went to drop the keys off the first thing said to my fiancé is you know this will take a week; clearly it was stated to him a day at the most. If you have 1 person for that certain job you should have scheduled him for that day. I fully understand there may be other vehicles that needed to go in before mine, but I made an appt 2 weeks out to get this repair done. Big job or not my car shouldnt have sat in the parking lot. Lost my business and I will be going somewhere else for the repair. I did pick my car up the next day.

I had my truck in to have the windshield wipers and headlights fixed. When I picked it up, the windshield wipers did not work. When I brought my car there for an engine problem years ago, they cleaned out the throttle body and said it was fixed. But the problem I told them about was not fixed. So, they dont check thier work, and they say they did. Im not disputing the charges, because they did do the work, I checked. But I wont bring another of my vehicles there again. I pretty much feel I paid to have something done, and it was done, but there was absolutely no follow-up to make sure the issue was properly taken care of.

Great guys; was told by Valvoline that I needed a serpentine belt replaced and that my battery was bad, took my car to these guys they looked it over and told me I did not need the repairs. THey did not even charge me a fee for checking it. They are now my go to guys.

Unfortunately the truck was a lost cause so I ended up taking it home without getting the main issues fixed. But they did find the cause for one of my issues and showed me a solution at no cost. Great guys, very friendly.

Georges Auto is absolutely fantastic!!! I will be recommending everyone and anyone to go see them. All I needed was a coolant temperature sensor replaced and they beat every competitors price. If youre looking for cheap and quality work, they are the place to go!!!

Well I dont know who George is or how come they think theyre so special that their prices are super outrageous so I called for a four tire alignment and its $160 no deals, no nothing ..so at Toyota dealership where stuff is usually really outrageous they have a four tire alignment for $90 .always ! I just find that pretty absurd that Toyota is cheaper than Georges I mean like I said who the hell is George

This shop tryed 3 times to fix a oil leak on my car, now my car runs worse after spending $800. I tryed talking to the owner George. He got in my face, sayrd theres worse problems in the world. Must unprofessional shop Ive even been in. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!

I usually never go to a mechanic shop unless its an emergency because I try to do everything myself. But well my car broke down and the car was towed to this place. The car was fixed in a timely manner and the shop advised me to get some other parts that were worn out. They werent ripping me off because the car, previously was pulling to one side when braking but as soon as the part they recommended to be changed was changed, that stmptom was gone.On top of that, the labor and parts were i would say competitive but again I wouldnt know because I usually DIY everything myself.The experience was fantastic and the owner was such a pleasure man to talk to and work with.I hope people use this shop rather than other shops around.*Im not hired by anyone or got paid from his place. Just wanted to leave a genuine review

Employeed talk in circles and do NOT know what they are doing. Poor customer service. Had vehicle in for a blower motor. Replaced it twice. Then I complained about it vibrating, automatically it another faulty blower motor. Had an appt for two weeks to an actuator fixed and told me they could not do it because I can not leave the vehicle with them. They had 20 cars come in on Monday, today is Thursday. Told me they did not know what is wrong with it, told them I have an estimate for an actuator. Told me they dont have one saved under my name. They just talked in circles. Will not go back. Was told not to come back.

On July 24th my wife and I were returning from our cottage at East Tawas. We were driving south on I75 near Beaver Rd. When suddenly our car started losing power and making a terrible noise. I pulled to the shoulder of the road and used my cell phone to call a tow truck. While waiting I googled a auto .repair shop and then I noticed that the one shop that I chose was closing at 6:00pm the time then was about 5:30The repair shop that I randomly chose happened to be Georges Auto Repair located at 820 N Euclid Ave Bay City Ml. Since we are from the Davison area I had absolutely no clue who George was..But I must say that God himself was looking over these weary travelers. The wrecker dropped us off at around 6:20ish and George had stayed until we arrived. Once there he took the time to quick check some things and said that he couldnt any more until the next day..Later our son came from Goodrich to take us home. He said that he was worried that we might get ripped off because we were strangers. He couldnt have been any more mistaken . George and his crew treated us like GOLD. George not only fixed our car a couple of days sooner than we expected but $50.00 dollars cheaper than he told us. George and his employees are head and shoulders above ANY repair shop Ive dealt with. I wish that I didnt live some 50+ miles away so I could have him do all of my maintenance and repair work

Caught Toms son on my dash cam revving out my truck and driving around town with the 4wd engaged on dry pavement. At the end of the drive, I heard him talking about the transfer case being loose and fighting to get it back into 2wd. I called to file a complaint and was told I dont know what Im talking about. When I mentioned my dash cam, he then said that he does that to every vehicle they service. I wont be letting this shop touch one of my vehicles ever again.
