This place gives amazing service! The staff is very friendly. When I was on the phone with the woman trying to pay my bill, my children were not being very quiet. When I apologized to her she told me all about her children while they were growing up and we laughed alot. Nicest woman ever. The man that came out to take care of the bees actually educated me on them. I used to be scared of them but he completely changed that and I am so greatfull. Overall the best company I have ever worked with hands down!

Jacob from Proof Pest is great. We had an ongoing issue with a mouse 🐁 continually entering into our basement and we could not identify the source. Thanks to Jacob, we identified this tiny crack in the brick outside our house, where they were entering our basement. Happy to say we are back to being rodent free!

We live on the water and have experienced spiders during the summer months. Best Pest had come out only one time to spray as we are new customers- what a difference, there are no spiders or cob webs. I highly recommend their service. Also the customer service from the first phone call to the guys that sprayed were incredible.

Justin was great with our bat removal. Last year he did a great job, thought the bats were gone. But they loved our house so much they returned. These guys came out to our house and literally spent an hour trying to find Out where these things were coming from. They came up and told my husband and I thought they were probably coming from the basement sewer issues. When I asked how much I owe them for being there for so long they replied “nothing”....they charged me NOTHING! Because they didn’t have to set traps, as my husband had already done, they simply gave us great advise and told us to call them back if we needed ANYTHING! I had cats and possums fighting in my crawl space. Nick did an excellent job of removing a dead possum, verifying that there were no other animals in the space, blocking the hole that animals had been using to get in under my house, and verifying that my pipes and ducts had not been damaged by the really alarming animal fights. Nick is thoroughly knowledgeable about animals and their behavior, and hes very personable, courteous, and helpful. I now have peace of mind about the crawl space. Also, I signed up for Bests Home Care Plan, which covers insects and mice and provides a great warranty and 24/7 service. Best Pest and Animal Control is truly a local treasure!

I just had the pleasure of meeting Rich, the owner of the company. I had called him because my husband trapped a mouse in our house during the night. I was prepared to have him do anything and everything to keep any future mice away. And he could have easily done that. But instead, after checking our basement and finding no indication that there were any more mice, he recommended that I do nothing at this point. So instead of taking my money, he gave me his honest opinion at no charge. I would certainly recommend this man for any of your pest and animal control needs. I called about a wasp emergency at 5 oclock on a Sunday night, and they said they could be here by 7 that same night. The woman was super friendly on the phone, made sure we were okay in the house, and the gentleman was here less than an hour later. He was super friendly, got the job done quickly and efficiently, and was on his way. We are super grateful that they were able to assist us so quickly and would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area!

Rich was very honest and showed a lot of integrity. He could have charged us for a treatment that he determined was not necessary. We will not hesitate to refer this company at any opportunity.

We had raccoons that thought our attic was a good home. We did not agree. After googling we found Best Pest and called. We let them handle the entire job. From catching the raccoons to making the attic safe again. It was quite the challenge we gave them.After all was said and done they had removed 4 adult raccoons, 4 baby raccoons. Plus the 3 opossums that wandered in the traps. (We live in the city too.) They then started to clean and sanitize the attic only to find we had surface mold. Yeah, the job got bigger. We had choices to make. As Best Pest was already doing the cleaning and knew what our attic was like, we hired them to take care of the mold issue also. They removed all the old fiberglass insulation, treated the mold and used new blown in insulation. Much warmer!. They also fixed and shored up our soffits where the raccoons were able to gain entry to the attic. We are very happy with the work they provided and yes, if circumstances were to happen again we would certainly call them. From the first phone call to the last good bye everyone we spoke with was professional and courteous. We thank them and recommend them.

I am happy to add another great review for this company. Just today I called and talked with a lady regarding a skunk being in my crawlspace. I said I already had traps placed and she was a friendly, honest person as she stated that she didnt want them to come out and take my money if I already had traps. She even offered advice on bait. Great experience so far. I know who I will call if and when I have future pest issues.

So incredibly disappointed in the service I have received. I do appreciate the kind receptionist over the course of the last 16 days who was trying to help resolve our bee problem.However, 16 days, and 3 visits later, we are still dealing with yellow jackets inside our home. We were told yesterday the nest was destroyed. I was very disappointed after my husband climbed in our attic to still see a very large intact nest with living bees. Called the business quite frustrated and received a call back from the owner very quickly upon leaving a voicemail. He proceeded to become very frustrated with me, snipped that he would personally write me a check and proceeded to hang up on me. Not real professional. We will see if he actually does issue me a refund like he has claimed.

Best Pest & Animal Control have done an outstanding job! We called them regarding a opossum in our yard. They came out and placed traps the same day. By the 2nd day the opossum was trapped and taken away the next day.Staff are very personable and answer all you questions and concerns. Will always use there services.

A good man, running his own small business. He was trained by, and used to work for, one of the big franchise pest control companies, before deciding to go out on his own. Weve used him for several years. Prompt, professional, reasonable-priced service. Very knowledgeable and polite. Relies on referrals and word of mouth, rather than paid advertizing. His business is doing very well. I called him at 4:45 in the afternoon, and he came over at 8 pm that very night to deal with my several big wasp nests. Would recommend him highly to all Saginaw, Bay, Midland county homeowners.
