This place is just amazing. Found a stray cat that needed medical treatment. They showed compassion for the wellbeing and to get the treatment kitty needed. Also being a no kill shelter is definitely a positive. Thanks for offering the shelter and care for our furry friends.

It is apparent the person (Tracey) who runs this place has a heart for animals. I am sure that any of the negative reports have a back story that isnt being told. She is smart, intuitive and caring. She helped our famiy with a difficult situation in a practical, resorceful manner and we are grateful to her.

Hi all it has been almost a year now since I got my Simon formally known as Snoopy. He had hadtwo other owners before me and had some dental issues. He has been a blessing to my home and I want to thank you folks at ROAR for being so kind to me and introducing him to my family. Im now thinking about adding a nother level to my family .

My partner and I were very interested in one of the dogs that needed a new home. The replies were very fast at first. Then when I asked questions about the dog, and then sent the filled out application, it took me emailing twice, and my partner and I both calling once each before I got an email back full of excuses. We were given the runaround. Unhelpful, unprofessional, just all around worst experience Ive ever dealt with from a place trying to find animals homes.

We are very happy with our puppy that we have adopted she is adorable and we love her so much we have named her Gracie

Tracy Lee who runs this rescue is a fraud. The reason I say this is in December of 2017 I was homeless and had a contract with Tracy for her to keep my dogs for a place for shelter. I did not sign them OFF! We had that agreement in the contract. I always would supply them food when they were there and I would try to text her and call her to visit my pets. But she wouldnt get back with me! I still have all the text messages! But when I would drop off a bag of dog food at her gate she would respond. Then one day out of the blue she calls me to tell me shes putting one of my dogs down. I try to ask her what is going on with him and ask her why she hasnt reply to my texts or calls? All she could do is yell at me! She ended up hanging up on me. I then went to her house to see my dogs with my husband. We opened the gate and was knocking on the door. She would just walk pass and ignore us! She then ended up coming out of the house and telling me that I couldnt see my dogs! But yet one of them was dying! Too make a long story short I didnt get to see my little boy until they put him down at the vet and I was able to hold him. A month later I found an apartment. Tried again to get in touch with Tracy. No response. She then finally get back with me. She told me she need my state ID, my landlords contact information and that they would need to come and do an inspection of my apartment. I complyed. Gave her all of that information. She then never got back in touch with me again. I called and texted her everyday! Here we go again I thought! She ended up then getting back with me some weeks later! To tell me she told my landlord some made up story, I called my landlord and she told me she just asked if I was allowed to have pets at my apartment? Tracy ended up not wanting to hand over my dog and getting upset with me for doing a welfare check a couple of times, due to not allowing me to see my dog. I did end up taking her to court....Didnt get my dog back. I have the copys of my vet records, all the text messages and call logs of me calling her to get in touch with her. I still have the contract that she broke to prove she broke the agreement not me! I never abandoned my pets nor miss treat them! The judge didnt look over the evidence! It took me a year to decide to say something and well I just would hate to hear about someone becoming a victim of this fraud like I became!
