I drove over an hour to bring my vintage Singer to Alex because of his reputation and it was well worth it! He completely cleaned and serviced it and fixed an issue I was having with the needle postion. His price was very reasonable for the time he spent on it. He even made a new pedal for me, adding a plug that was compatible with my old machine to a new pedal, to replace the original one that wasnt working for me. If you need a machine fixed/serviced, Alex is the guy to do it!!

Alex is the definition of service after the sale. He is not selling machines just to get a sale. He is truly dedicated to fit each person with a machine that fits there needs. He is without a doubt the most knowledgeable to work on machines in this area. I have been knowing Alex and dealing with him for many years and I have never been disappointed with his service and the work he performs on my machines.

I brought my machine in one Friday and he was so helpful to find out what was wrong with it on the spot. Saved me a trip to go back to pick it up - He was extremely knowledgeable and answered several questions I had. Definitely would go back.

Very RUDE & shipped damaged table 2 times & had to pay shipping it back myself. Look at the photos, he sells junk that is already damaged & wants it back & buyer pays shipping. I am telling everyone I know not to buy from this store.

Today I brought in my Singer sewing machine certain I had messed up the timing. I had not, I was just exhausted, not paying attention, had the bobbin in wrong, and the threading wrong. You figured it out and I learned how exhausted you were from keeping Baton Rouge sewing face masks to get us through this crisis.While many may not see you as an essential worker, I DO. What you have done for me, and I am sure many others, is nothing short of essential. Just in case no one has said thank you yet, I wanted to. THANK YOU for being you, for caring, for understanding crazy, exhausted women and doing what you do. I tell everyone I talk to about your great service, and tell them it is the best and only place to service their sewing needs and I mean it with all my heart.

Did a horrible job repairing my commercial machine. Now it makes a noise it wasnt making before and did not fix what I brought it in for.Spoke in a very rude tone! One hour and a half drive for me and I will never go back

Was literally the only place that had the Janome part I needed. Was super quick as well. People there were super friendly.

This is a one man shop. If you have a high end machine that needs service, you cant ask for a more knowledgeable and careful mechanic. He is also a baby lock retailer. Hes very honest about what machines share the same mechanics and gives good information so you can decide if you want to spend money on higher end features you might not need. He gets a lot of cranks walking through the door -- people who buy a $100 machine at walmart expect to get that machine serviced for $10. Ive seen a man walk out in anger because the service would cost almost as much as the machine. For the rest of us, Alex is a spectacular mechanic.

Brought in my Singer and he fixed it on the spot. I don’t come in often bc I live in Central but when I need something done there is always Alex.

Extremely knowledgeable, told Alex what I needed out of a machine and what fabrics I work with normally. I purchased a 5 thread serger and he patiently helped my thread and retread until I got the hang of threading the machine!

He seems pushy. I hear he’s knowledgeable, but don’t throw your experience in my face because I told him I was new. Instead of helping me, he proceeded to correct my verbiage.I went looking for Material for my machine. He would not allow me to call “accessories “ material. What a douche.
