The movers were on time (aka 3 minutes early!), professional, and helpful. They stacked my relocube so tight I doubt anything will move in transit (much less break), saving me close to 700 bucks in the process. My small 1 bedroom apartment was loaded into the truck in less than 40 minutes, my relocube was loaded in a similar timeframe. Well under the 2 hour mark even with transit.Even before the move Nick and the crew at Abba Movers were so helpful in letting me know what I needed to provide for a cross-state move, and making sure I didnt overspend. I cannot say enough good about this company!! I was searching for local movers and everyone I could find charged to just get their employees in the truck, not to mention an outrageous deposit. I found Abba on Angies List and I am so happy I did! From booking the move w/ Nick to the three young men they sent, it was such an easy and quick process. The three young men were so well spoken, clean cut and just a breeze to deal with. If you can, ask for Damien, Kent and John as your movers, but Im sure the rest of the staff is just as efficient! They came in, I showed them once what I needed moved and they got right to work, they didnt not stop once until the job was done. If I could give more than five stars I would, my experience was just that good!

I used Abba movers last month. They were fantastic! Mine was a complicated move: I was moving some items around the house, some items to a storage unit, and some items to an apartment. Abba movers showed up (early, in fact!) and went straight to work! They were professional and courteous and did everything I asked cheerfully and without complaint. This included hauling heavy furniture to a third floor apartment and maneuvering an 8 ft long custom motorcycle into and out of the moving van (and an elevator!) and making multiple trips to keep everything organized. I would highly recommend their services.

I highly recommend this company. The two gentleman that helped with our relocation move were on time, courteous, hard working and all around very professional. They also were very good at what they do. They managed to fit our 3 bedroom home into a 26 ft truck leaving enough space for our outdoor furniture plus a grill and a riding mower. Both men were professional, quick, careful and everything I would want in movers. This by far was the best moving experience and would definitely use again.Update: apparently when moving the bed which is fully adjustable, they pulled the hydrochloric apart on the head of the bed. And it no longer works. After speaking with management they sent someone out today and he made it so it works but explained that a gasket had been broken and to have the arm replaced. I will be finding out what that will take to do.

I called Abba movers because I had ordered a Lazy Boy sectional 4 months ago and when it finally came in, the only day they could bring it to me was the next week on the same day my husband was having surgery for cancer. If I didn’t get it that day it would be 2 more weeks- so much for Lazy Boy customer service.I was so upset and called Abba, they were available the next day. I was very impressed by the 2 guys that loaded our uhaul for us. They texted when they were on the way and got everything loaded in less than 2 hours. Abba Movers in Baton Rouge did a wonderful job moving items from a two-bedroom apartment into a storage unit in the same city. They kept in touch with me before the move and were available to answer any questions I had. Based on experiences I have had with other moving services in the past, I expected that their estimate of the move only taking two hours might be off by an hour. But they were right -- it only took 2 hours, 15 minutes and that extra 15 minutes was because they had to wait for me to follow them to the storage unit.The two-man crew was polite, professional, and hard-working. They answered my questions and listened to my requests for handling certain pieces of furniture and arranging items in the storage unit. They had all the equipment needed to protect furniture and make the move go quickly and smoothly.They also wore masks while around me, inside the apartment, and the storage unit, which I greatly appreciated. I will use Abba Movers again when needed. Their work made a hard day much easier.

Unfortunately, this is by far the worse service i have ever received. Not only did i have to stay on top of the unloading and assembling but when i turned on my tv screen they had damaged it. My brand new screen was completely cracked and has exterior damage as well. After i notice i started to look around and found other cosmetic damages to my walls, floor and furniture. This was a brand new home so there were no previous owners or damages. When contacting the company i was immediately referred to their insurance claim contact. Not once, did they mention the option of full coverage or 0.60$ per pound for any damage while moving. So basically they found a loop hole to not cover valuable items such as TVs over 1,000$. I moved from Texas to Louisiana and not one thing damaged and this time i moved only 5min away and had several damages. I will not recommend this moving company to anyone by far the worse. See pictures of just a few things i have found.

Today was my second time using Abba Movers to move my son, who is a college student. Weve been scammed by other local moving companies, but Abba Movers is very straight forward with no sneaky fees or run around. They reliably show up during the scheduled window, and the workers are courteous, careful and hard working. They get right to work and are efficient and responsible. Since Ive been burned before, Ill never again use any other movers besides Abba Movers. Reserving an appointment is easy with no deposit required. Everyone Ive communicated with at the company is professional and service minded. They dont even expect payment until the job is done which is risky on their part these days.
