We tried summer camp today. I am not at all pleased. One of the adults told the kids, There is a dragon outside the door. If you make a sound, I will feed you to the dragon. The staff was not friendly. I tried to inquire about gymnastics lessons and was met with little to no response. I was thinking of registering my daughter for lessons here, but we will NOT be registering with Valor.
The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how good it smelled! As a former gymnast who spent most of my life in a gymnastics facility, I was fully expecting to smell feet and mildew, but was VERY PLEASENTLY surprised with a clean, fresh scent when I visited Valor Gymnastics this week!
Our girls, ages 6 and 8 years loved Elite’s summer camp!! Our oldest has taken gym there for 3 years, but over this past year really started making progress. The new owner has really worked on making Elite better with new equipment, staff, etc. He’s focusing on the kids and what’s best for them developmentally which I truly appreciate. It’s become our second home, we ❤️ Elite!
The customer service is solid. From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable. Thank you Valor for all you do.
The coaches here are amazing! They are obviously really good at their jobs and know how to train and coach wonderful, talented, and hardworking gymnasts. The gymnasts on team are very close and hardworking and everyone is always encouraging each other to be the best they can be. Ever since the gym has been put under new management the gym has done nothing but succeed and thrive from new equipment, motivated employees, etc. This gym is very professional and is one of the best environments to train and learn gymnastics from an early age!!!!
Friendly people, and our son loves it and his coach.
My son has been going to Elite for more than 4 years now. Started in the rec class which was great for the little kids. Now he is part of their team program. The coaches and staff all work hard with the kids and encourage them to do their best. Staff is quick to respond to emails and phone calls.Camps for summer and other school breaks are great. My son absolutely loves camp days.
My 6-year old daughter absolutely loves going to gymnastics class. She is learning a ton of new skills and what it means to be a competitor. The staff is knowledgable and interested in making my daughter not only a better gymnast but a better winner at life..
We switched my daughter to Elite in May 2020 for competitive gymnastics when her previous gym quit having a competition team. Its been a fantastic experience for her thus far. The coaches have an always positive attitude towards the kids. The kids cheer each other on and encourage each other. My daughter comes home and talks about how much she enjoys the coaches and her teammates. My wife says it reminds her of the old school Baton Rouge gyms she attended 20+ years ago where its just like home. Her skills have made leaps and bounds and shes super proud of herself.Communication is great from the gym. Theyre always sending out notifications of whats going on. They use a lot of video communication which is great. I hate interpreting text or emails. Bryan has been extremely easy, always friendly and he hires good natured people. One other thing that I love is they dont mind if you watch team practice. My daughter has been to two other gyms and the practices were closed for whatever reason.Go try out the gym. They let us try classes with no pressure and it sold itself. I feel for them with all the poor reviews from the past. I believe was previous ownership before Bryan purchased the gym which was very recent.
We used to go to the gym for a few classes under the previous owner. We have returned to the gym in the past few months under the new ownership of Bryan who took over in January 2020. We have been really impressed with all the improvements to the facility - they keep things very clean, neat and up-to-date. Overall communication now has been very clear, timely and professional. My two children are attending camp and classes there now. We will continue there. The staff is personable, warm, knowledgeable, and respectable. My kids are begging to go back. I’ve seen tremendous improvement in my children’s fitness levels. What I really appreciate is Bryan, new owner and Abby the manager are very open and patient to parents’ concerns and questions. The children are treated with fun, discipline, and respect by the coaches.
There is very nice staff and i know that cause i go there
My daughter loves the family environment that has been created at Elite! Good communication as to where the fees are going. Clean and safe environment with new equipment. Great coaches with skill expertise.
My daughter joined the competitive team 3 months ago and recently the homeschool program. We couldn’t be happier with the decision to switch to Elite. Bryan and his staff run a top notch program.
My daughter has been on team since the beginning of the summer. Refreshing to have coaches that work the girls and management that responds and cares. Keep up the good work!
My son loves it he loves his class the coaches are professional they teach him so many things.

My daughter has been going a few years .however now its under new owner/management. Even with all the new changes the new owner and all coaches have been very open to any concern and always in the interest of my child.she enjoys what she does!and its definitely the environment that makes that happen
We went for one day and I can assure you this is the WORST GYM EVER! DO NOT waste your money. Completely unprofessional environment and owner. 0/10 people would recommend.
My son has been doing camp at Elite since he was 3 and has always loved it. He enjoys playing on all the different equipment and the fun activities they do. The coaches are always so nice.
My daughters LOVE Elite Gymnastics summer camp! This was our second summer there and I’ve always been impressed with the facility and the staff is always sooo sweet! They had a lot of fun and made many friends! We will definitely be returning next summer! :)
I am so impressed With elite gymnasticsI drive every day from New Orleans to bring my kids there. they showi great skills and resultsI love the facilityI love the couchesI love their ownersGreat job keep it up
My 3 years old daughter loves going to mommy and me classes on Saturday! We love the staff and the facility!
They send Past Due mails on the day after the due day for your $30 late fee all the time. Why not send a notice before the due day to be nice?! And who can remember your list of 20 fees?
First Impression was great. I called this morning at 8:20 a.m. before they were even open and someone answered the phone. They patiently answered my questions and let me know that even though I didnt start at the beginning of their semester I could register my child for beginners. They allow beginners registration all year long at any time. She also offered my daughter a trial class the same day and said bring her by tonight. Let her try it out before you sign up. First impressions mean a lot and I am pleasantly surprised so far.
I loved Elite gymnastics. I took gymnastics there from 1990-1996 which was almost 6 years. I loved walking across the balance beams, jumping on the trampoline, and jumping into the foam pit. I loved the gymnastics day camp.
Had my daughters birthday party here and it was awful. We were only allowed 15 mins to set up and while I was setting up the owner was going over the rules. Very inconvenient timing since Time was limited. While doing that she scrapped crumbs off of one of the tables and I started going through the room and noticed that the party room was filthy. I mentioned it to her and she said “Oh, you think?” And I said “yes, you just wiped off crumbs on one side of the table and there’s more over here”. She never did anything to pick up. So being that I only had 10 more minutes to setup I just brushed it off and continue to setup. Then I went in the play room....There was dust everywhere. They must have just done a repair to the indoor playground bc there was a table saw in that room just laying around, a wall that was part of the playroom was plywood and it was disgusting. Then came time for her to go over the “rules” with the kids. She literally told the kids the rules were “we normally don’t do 2 year old bday parties but we are today so parents will be allowed in the gymnasium”. As she’s going over the “rules” my nephew talked to his cousin and she yelled at him in front of everyone bc she was talking. This happened multiple times. I reminded her that this was a birthday party and not a class. Then we went in the gym. It smelled awful. It smelled like someone had peed all I’ve that place. There was duct taped holding carpet together and there was a class going on as we are having our party. This. Place. Is. Awful.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
I hated the summer camp!! They let the gymnast do whatever they wanted then have the campers get bossed around by the gymnast then they let the gymnast do whatever they wanted they never let the campers go on the white trampoline no bars not even the beams basically only the pit then the stupid boring fun nastics they dont teach campers anything!! I came to camp thinking that they would train us but no I was wrong basically its the same thing every day and campers dont get to play on their phones but gymnast do they favorite basically anyone they like I cant even heat up my FOOD in the microwave in the lobby because campers cant the gymnast also get TV really unfair. I had to learn stuff by myself witch is really sad people had said that Oh well the gymnast train all the time and pay lots of money to be here so thats why they get to do things campers dont WELL THATS GREAT my mom pays 100 dollars each week for this seriously?? I could be in painting class this elite gymnastics camp has ruined my dreams of being a gymnast never spend your money on this place pick another place please
Had daughter in the summer camp and had a horrible experience. They had young high schoolers running the camp. My daughter would come back with clothes missing and when I asked the high schoolers (who were the only people there) they would pretend like they didnt know what I was talking about or would try to convince me she wasnt wearing the outfit I dressed her in. Save your money.
My daughters havent been yet but I have heard that it is a really great place to put your children in if they really like gymnastics. I am planning to call elite tomorrow.
Very small for big event but overall is just another gym
Love the new ownership! If you had a bad experience with the last owners I highly recommend giving the new owners a try!
I walked into the gym to talk to the owner. and the gymnasia was super nasty trash, all over the floor, poop on the bathroom stalls, the gym is small the coaches, are very inexperienced I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS GYM GO TO A DIFFERENT GYM IN BATON ROUGE
I love it its fun to play
I love Elite Gymnastics so much
