Always enjoy a planet fitness. This one is just as good as the other ones. They keep it clean and its kept up well. The only issue is people not giving you a two machine space while youre in the middle of working out

I have belong to many different gyms however this Planet Fitness club is by far my favorite. The staff are amazing, so kind and encouraging. I am always greeted when I walk in...the staff does a great job keeping the equipment operating and clean.Highly recommended 👏👏

Well I really like planet fitness and I like my club, but the last time that I walked in there and scanned my card the lady behind the counter hollered out you have a balance that needs to be paid! Now first of all I immediately called the billing department and they failed to update my payment, and second of all I wanted to punch the little girl in her face for embarrassing me like that! As if being fat isnt embarrassing enough walking in there, And Im like I come every week and no one has told me this, she said well Im from another store Im just working here for the day, so Im like mind your own business then! But nonetheless I called planet fitness headquarters and they got a piece of my mind! Other than that I love planet fitness!

I love working out at planet fitness on Florida Blvd shopping plaza and I love the atmosphere and I enjoy working out. The guy that works there was very nice and friendly I enjoyed my experience over there. I will consistently make it to the gym the best way I know how.

I LOVE this place. It’s so clean and the staff are nice. I have been a member for over a year and have always enjoyed my workout. There machines are clean and well maintained. The other people there working out are nice. I have never had a problem. They have this aqua message chair there, pictured below, that is awesome after a hard workout. Definitely become a black member it’s totally worth it. I always enjoy myself there. I definitely recommend this gym to anyone.

Before becoming a member I drove by the parking lot and saw that it was busy all the time, I have been pleasantly surprised. I’ve been a member now for over a year and the people are friendly and it’s very easy to get a workout in most anytime of the day. The place is kept clean and I’m working order.

Staff is always very friendly. Gym is kept up well. Unfortunately, Ive moved too far to use this location any more, but they were helpful and quick with my cancelation.

Ill always got to PF. Even though theyre inconsistent with their policies. Some let you jump rope others do not. Some enforce dress code others let ppl walk in with wrangler jeans and boots.

I travel for a living and generally speaking I find planet fitness is outstanding in just about every location but I do find a hiccup at this location. Dont try to buy a bottle of water, because they dont accept American Express 😳

The weights are never reracked. The benches are all over the place. Please get some wheeles on the incline bench. Is there reason the benches are not nailed down, so they do not move? I should not have to pick the incline bench up or dragged it around. Also, staff allows individuals to utilize and take up several pieces of equipment at a time. When asked to use it, the muscles dudes ignore the hell out of you. hrlm

75 DEGREES inside an exercise facility is dangerous! Please please please fix the AC in this location. And while the AC isnt working, at least turn up those huge fans!

When the staff behind the desk of a fitness club is too lazy to pull up information in a computer - theres a problem.With the exception of the manager annd one of the trainers, theres always a vibe that youre bothering people to do their job. More specifically, today I wanted to tan before workout. The system said it had not been 24 hours since my last session. I politely ask the woman behind the desk, what time does itshow my last tanning session was. She said she couldnt see that info. Ive been a member of PF for 4 years... Ive been given this info easilymultiple times before. After I mention to her, the info is available, could she please look again. Wi th hands in pocket, she refuses. One of the other workers, who has been there for a while and should know how to access thiso info also refuses to help after asking him to in intervene.

This is the best planet fitness out of all the locations in baton rouge and metairie/kenner. from the way the cardio machines are separate from the free-weights, to the employees, to the other members, everything is superior about this location. when i’m out of town, i miss it!

Horrible the staff was dry and rude and no longer having 24 hrs is the worst. That was the main reason I chose this gym for that purpose. I plan on switching 🤷🏾‍♀️

Ive never been in a cleaner gym. Theres plenty of space, and tons of equipment. One entire triple -sized room has a wall of televisions, the sound of which can be s heard through headset jacks on each of the bikes, ellipticals, snow skiers, and walking machines.Theres rarely a wait for equipment, partly due, I suspect, to their distribution of Peak Time flyers.

I went there to pick up a family member. The place seemed to be clean.

Kinda upset with the idea of my friend having the black card and I cant tan anymore now that I bought 3 products for tanning from them an havent even used them.

Excellent gym at a terrific price. Plenty of cardio equipment, good staff, clean locker rooms, and enough weight equipment for even avid lifters.

A tad bit crowded but I didnt utilize the crowd meter either so the decision to be there under that circumstance was clearly on me. Great place to workout though!!!!

Its been months since Ive been at Planet Fitness, and I slowly paced myself in todays visit...lol. At the end of my mini workout I stopped at the counter and Raelynn listened to my needs and quickly, eagerly and willingly assisted me without hesitation. She walked me over to the monitor and walked me through how to transfer my membership information. I really appreciate her friendliness and ability to respond promptly to my specific need. When I was finished I walked towards the exit door and thanked her again, and she still offered one final step to confirm that my key tag registered in the system and I was good to go. Raelynn proved what true customer service should be!!

Same Planet Fitness as before covid...except for masks...kinda packed at 730pm...but not too bad. Was still able to move from stretches to machines with minimal wait time.

Place is always clean and attendants are friendly. Great place to work-out at an affordable price.

Now that the gym is not 24 hours the punctuality of opening it at the exact time is elementary in more than 30 minutes waiting for it to be open I saw at least 15 angry people leave including me

PF really had everything I need and the convenience I want. My home location had multiple stations that include the machines for my activities that day, beetroot upper, lower or cardio days, they have what I need when I want! If you have considered PF in the past but you may not like to workout while a lot of folks are watching, try visiting early AM, lunch time and around 8 PM to determine which time slot works best for you, your busy lifestyle and your comfort level. When I first joined, the idea of lots of people being there and having to wait for a station concerned me, I found two time slots that work for me and I just make it there at one of those.

I have been working out at Planet Fitness for over 5 years now. Once I joined I got rid of all my home exercise equipment. It is the perfect gym for an over all workout no matter if you are into weight lifting or cardio. They have machines that target every body part. There is no reason to pay a high price membership to go to some other gym when you can go to Planet Fitness at an extremely low monthly cost. Of course it is not a hardcore gym for those interested in heavy lifting of free weights. The only free weights you have are dumbbells, curling bars and some kettles. It is a gym you can go to at anytime of the day. If you want to get a good workout it is the place to go.

The staff keep the equipment clean restroom clean make sure everybody practicing social distancing and entering the building with their mask on

I go to PF every morning around 4 am and it is a perfect time. I wish that they had a BOSU ball, exercise balls, and free standing steps to use for working out. I have a trainer that writes me plans and a lot of times I cannot accomplish everything because I need some of these things.

I love Planet Fitness so much. it is definitely the place to be and it is fun to work out with your family as well. I love the atmosphere and the music and its so motivating to see other people getting out there and exercising I highly recommend others getting a black card membership for Planet Fitness the hydro massage chair is 10 out of 10 and they have every equipment for every muscle you need to workout

I went to work out at about 4:30 pm today and when I came out to leave, my passenger side window was shattered. Also, on another separate occasion a few months ago my husband had finished his workout, came to his car and a police officer asked him if his car had been broken into because the vehicle next to him had the back truck window smashed out and had items stolen from it . It would very helpful if the owner would install security cameras overlooking the parking lot for customer security . There currently are none. Because of this we unfortunately will no longer come to this location.

Definitely the place you want to go if you want to use a treadmill or a stair climber. They do have a adequate enough bass of machines you could use for other CrossFit activities. If youre in a hurry or just trying to get in a little work out then the 30-minute room is for you.

Great gym, very clean, and barely have to wait on equipment. I come went my boyfriend as a guest and We have stopped coming because the short dark skinned girl with the short curly hair shows unnecessary behavior. She likes to follow him pretending shes cleaning then she stands to the counter with her friends laughing like its funny. We come to the gym to work out and feel comfortable, not uncomfortable. Look for some male attention on your own time

Dont listen to the anti-PF crowd on r/fitness. PF on Florida is a hidden gem.This location is big - really big. They just made over the half with all the weights and machines, giving more room and options. Always kept clean, thanks to early morning staff (I see them every morning around 4).Work as hard as you want, there is someone else just like you. Best fitness value in BR.

Worst welcome, this location. Casual interaction at front desk, not the enthusiasm Im accustomed to where Im from. Received no tour, no t-shirt, no new member accolades other than the key tag. Customer service is everything. I think I might cancel & consider some place else... Large club though, seems well maintained.

I like it. Affordable prices. Friendly staff. The members stay to themselves. They work out and leave. Open 24 hours a day. Great place to go if you want to get in shape. Wouldnt recommend for those already in shape like athletes and bodybuilders just regular folks whose goals are to get in shape.

Love my gym but kids run the place & thats bad business... Especially hygiene-wise. I understand the importance of keeping teens safe off the streets for the summer but they dont sanitize the equipment afterwards & the young staff & the parents claiming 2 b responsible dont seem 2 care. Staph infection is beyond real.!! Idk how Im gonna make it until September 1st...

I love the gym, its nice and big. My only complaint is I see a lot of people working out that dont wipe down their machines and most guys slam their weights.

This location has a crazy number of aerobic machines. They have showers, large locker rooms and tanning. On the weight side they have a decent number of machines, but very little free weights. The barbells Max out at 75 lbs and the only bar weights they have are 4 Smith machines.

I am a member there and I love it. Its clean, friendly staff, and I never have to wait to use the equipment. The water massage bed is the BEST.

Still being charged even after Contract was done. You would think theyd check the log to see I havent checked into that place in over 5 months. The contract I got did not say I would continue to be charge monthly thats stupid.

I`ve been a member to the Seigen Planet Fitness before I relocate to this one. I stuggle in the beginning because the ambience was not the one I was used to. But after a while it grew on me. Very spacious, never smells bad (which happened to the other location), restrooms are always clean and have flowers, everything is kept very well. They recently changed all the weights, some eqipment and upholstery and I can`t say that was really necessary. That`s all I need for a great workout.

Terrible experience, I am traveling the country rn and I went into pf to use the bathroom since I am a black card memeber but I forgot my card in the van so they said I couldn’t come in! I had to tell them to look up my name and the person that was trying to help me was an old guy who could barely hear! Took about 15-20 minutes just to use the bathroom. Terrible employees. Would not recommend to ANYONE!

Laid back work out at your own pace no judgement

In the beginning they enforced the no talking loud on the cell phone policy which I liked because there is nothing more obnoxious then having to hear someone’s loud non stop conversation on a treadmill next to you when trying to exercise. The employees st the front desk tend to be on there phone texting most of the times but the worst part is that the bathrooms are simply nasty !

Canceling a membership is like pulling teeth. Best just never to sign up.

Equipment is good, staff is friendly. The only thing I can complain about is poor restroom maintenance. I shouldnt have to clean toilets just about every gym visit.

This company is a rip off... they say no contract... but when you try to cancel they make you sign a fake cancellation waiver that goes nowhere... they kept charging me month to month had to go in twice and after starting a new bank account they still was charging me... and now they tell me I owe $400... how could it even run to $400 thats like 40 months of payments while I couldnt even workout at facility because I owed... they say its no contract but dont believe them its a scam once youre signed up they will charge you for life rather you come or not and even if you cancel come back 3 years later and owe $400

Nice place,,, love allllll planet fitness, big area, biggest problem, showers r wide open when u enter mens locker room, only planet fitness without dressing room and hooks to put bag and shampoo to shower n dress, I am from lafayette and travel 5 states and workout at many other planets,,, it is the worst shower area in all 5 states, really sad,, worked out there tonight, had 4 guys shower with bags, shoes on wet floor and towel and clothes hanging from shower curtain,,,, no wares to dress and dry off in private, real sad for louisiana planet fitness,,, jus hoping for dressing rooms or bench n hooks in big open shower area, would be a big convenient.

Went into this location to have a tour and sign up. Due to our work schedule, we came in at 2:00am and there were no members there. It took 43 min from the time that we walked in the door, until we actually saw an employee. When we finally did see an employee, another member had come in and the male employee helped her, and then was too busy watching her walk away in her spandex shorty shorts to even say welcome to us. He then turned to us like we were a inconvenience to him. We told him that we would like to sign up for a black card membership. He did not offer a tour (we had already walked around the place in the 43 minutes that it took him to decide to do his job). He then bluntly told us to have a seat at the table with the iPad to sign up. He came over and took 10 min to figure out how to even get to the webpage for us to sign up. He then left us with no instructions, or explanation of the black card benefits or perks. When we finished filling out the application, we returned to the front desk where the same employee was blatantly staring at the members ass, who was on a treadmill. He reluctantly turned his attention to us, where he provided us with the free t shirt and took our picture. i honestly would never come to this location without my boyfriend present, due to this employee. I would never feel comfortable, knowing that he has no qualms with staring at members in a perverted way. Planet fitness claims that they are there for members to feel comfortable and not judged, but how can you stand by that commitment, when you have employees like this working for yall. I wanted to tell the poor girl what was going on, or at least move down to the other end of the treadmills, but honestly just didnt want to spend anymore time in there with that employee. I will be going to the Seigan location and hope that their employees have a little more integrity.

Nice & clean gym, but wish they had more to offer, like Zuma classes& trainer on site.
