Decent mechanics, horrible management.Broke my center console and didnt install it in correctly on a transmission job

I was getting an error code on my Tundra so brought it to Toyota for diagnostic, they told me bad torque convertor and quoted a ridiculous price to repair. Goggled transmission repair and Transmission Service Connection appeared with ALL 5 star reviews. Called them and set an apointment with Mike to meet. He looked it over and explained that something within the transmission could have caused the torque issue. Mike quoted a very reasonable worst case scenario price so I contracted the job to Mike. He called me the next day and explained in detail what he found to be wrong which was a lot worse than he originally anticipated but was true to his word on price. The only delay was for a part that was delayed due the recent freezing weather which was an act of God and no fault of theirs. Outstanding, professional, very fair pricing is how i would describe this transmission repair shop but that description alone serves them no justice. They are very friendly and their work is awesome. Thank you so much for putting me back on the road in better than expected timely manner and for a price that couldn’t be beat nowhere in town. Im thrilled that I drove an hour from my home to have Mike repair my truck!!!

I was preparing for what I thought was going to be a $1500 fee for a new transmission. I called Mike and he told me to bring in the car and that he would take a look at it (free of charge) and then determine if it was indeed transmission problems. Within a minute he discovered that it wasnt a transmission problem, but low power steering fluid and then sent me on my way. I cant thank Mike enough for his honesty, friendliness and great customer service. NO doubt I will be returning to him if ever I need car work in the future. I will also be recommending his business to all my co-workers and friends!

Awesome experience...had the clutch replaced in my Civic SI and Im very happy with the price and quality of work. John was very straight forward with everything from the work to the parts to the amount of time it would take to finish, and after it was done the car felt and sounded better than when I brought it in. TSC rebuilt an automatic transmission for my antique truck. The quality of the work was excellent, with the transmission working like new. They took care of several problems that I had not noticed, and made some suggestions for improving the vehicle. The price was very reasonable. I have had three different transmissions built by Mr. John, one fro my race truck and two personal trucks. All three have been great and very reasonable priced. I recommend them to anyone that has transmission problems. If you have an extended warranty, they will deal with them and do whatever it takes to get you taken care of and satisfied.

Brought in not long after the flood so it took longer than normal, but all auto repair shops were backed up repairing flooded cars. The work, however, was professional and the final invoice was exactly what was quoted up front. Brought my 2006 Maxima here on a recommendation of a family member who had lots of experience with this shop and recommended them highly. You will not be pressured at all. Hopefully wont need a transmission shop very often, but will only use this one when I do!

John and his team were absolute LIFE-SAVERS! My son drove his 2002 Chevy Silverado (with a little over 200,000 miles on it) to Baton Rouge for the Ole Miss/LSU game. The transmission didnt make it and he couldnt take it back to MS. After speaking with John on the phone and feeling good about making a blind decision to use Transmission Service Connection (I had to travel from Dallas to Baton Rouge to get the truck and put it into his shop - so I didnt have any prior recommendations other than reviews on Google), I realized, I made the BEST decision. John is an expert with transmissions and was completely up front with me to let me know it would take about 5 working days to rebuild the transmission, test it, etc. Johns folks bent over backwards to be sure they communicated pricing and lead time with me, and to ensure we were taken care of. After a week, I picked up the truck and drove it to Oxford. It runs better than before! John even called a few days after I returned from MS to make sure the truck performed well and made the journey without incident.It is rare to find a shop that goes beyond the usual measure of care and concern for their customers, and I feel blessed and lucky to have landed with Transmission Service Connection. Awesome service. John knows his stuff. I had a transmission leak on a 2001 jeep grand Cherokee 4.0 and wanted to get it taken care of. I am wary of all mechanic shops and like to do things myself but this was out of my league. Mr. John Diagnosed the problem on site and gave me a quote within minutes. Luckily the leak was a quick fix and they had me on the road same day (same hour even). I will use them here on in for any transmission need I have.

I took my car into tsc transmission recently and not only was the gentlemen very polite he listened to what i had to say and had me back on the road and safe in no time. I have known John Dees owner of TSC for about 15 years. He does ALL my Transmission work from fluid and filter changes to complete rebuilds. John is one of the most honest transmission mechanics I know and will go way above the norm to see you are taken care of. His shop isnt the fanciest but his work is top notch and very reasonable. No surprises, just old fashioned honesty and integrity. Oh and if you get there real early he likes breakfast from Sharons not Fast Food! lol

Our son goes to school at LSU, and we live in Houston. When his truck started missing, we thought it was the transmission. I found Transmission Service Connection, and I called John Dees. It is difficult to find an honest automotive repair place when you are not from the area and living out of state. Mr. Dees manner on the phone made me comfortable, and we had our son take his truck into TSC for a diagnosis. John called me a day later and explained in terms that even I could understand why he did not think it was the transmission. He went beyond the call when he suggested someone he trusted to look at the truck and diagnose the problem. He had the truck moved to the other location at his own expense. I am amazed, really!
