We had such an amazing experience. The staff and volunteers are so friendly and were able to help us find the perfect kitten. The center is always clean and you can definitely tell that these fur babies are well taken care of. Thank you guys so much! Bear has been such a great kitten and an amazing addition to the family! π
No where worse, why let someone who may have never had your services, drive 30 minutes to your location after making an appointment, just to tell the customer once planning their entire day around said appointment they cant actually adopt due to unsaid circumstances up till that point. Ruined several peoples day and made people genuinely unhappy, thanks

Best group of people. Hard working, place is awesome, clean and the cats are so well taken care of. They have gladly taken in a few kittens I have stumbled upon and were so helpful. I love going in to look at all of the cats. If you are considering adoption this is the place to go. Please consider some of the older cats. Some are in there because their previous owner got cancer or passed away so the poor babies are in need of another loving owner. Boots is currently available. PLEASE consider him. He Loves dogs!!
Iβve visited several shelters/rescues in the B.R. area, but upon handling the Cats at Cat Haven I saw what a tremendous difference these Cats were from the ones at other places. Theyβre all beautiful, happy, healthy, curious and all around well adjusted as a result of staying at this fantastic safe haven. I cannot recommend this wonderful place enough.
We adopted our Koozie from cat haven and just were in awe of the facility. Such a clean, professional catery with empathetic and devoted staff members. The cats here are incredibly well loved and taken care of. The staff maintains strict policies to keep the cats safe and healthy. I have always adopted my animals if at all possible. When I walked into this place I was greeted very warmly and the place smelled clean for as many kitties as they had. I was astonished by the number of rescued kittens and I just wanted to take them all home. The staff there was simply amazing. They never rushed me at and they informed me of the rules making my visit safe for the animals while still being friendly and nice. The animals were all very clean and well cared for. They were extremely knowledge about the kittens and looked up information that they were not sure of. The process was very streamlined since when I called, they had me fill out the pre-adoption paperwork on the website. It took me longer to love on the kittens and choose my companion than it did to finish the adoption. I have to wait a week to two because the little guy was just there for one day and was not yet chipped and clipped. So now I have to wait but all that is Included in the adoption fee. BOTTOM LINE is that you can save at least one special life by coming here... You will not be disappointed and neither will you new little buddy!

The most AMAZING place EVER!! They had a HUGE selection of cats/kittens and the staff was phenomenal!! We were there for hours over two days trying to choose a kitten. The foster care program that they have is quite impressive and it truly prepares the kittens for adoption. Again, staff/management was fantastic and very knowledgeable!!

I adopted the sweetest juvenile cat from Cat Haven, they have open adoption rooms that let you interact with and get to know the cats in a natural setting. My cat LuLu climbed into my lap and the rest was history. All cats are spayed/neutered, have their shots, and they will provide the first weeks food and any medication the cat is on (if applicable. My cat was sent home with eye medicine).I highly recommend adopting from Cat Haven.

They lied to me. They had me set up an appointment to adopt a cat. They instead of telling me they were going to reject my application they lied and said they call me back when the adoptions manager came back.They could have at least been honest with me instead of wasting my time.

Me and my close friends have had multiple cats come to and from this adoption agency, they absolutely treat them right here. No such thing as a lost cause, and they do it all for low prices. Your next cat should come from here.
Cat haven has a great selection of adorable cats but they will not let you adopt if you say that you will let the cat outdoors. So make sure that when they ask, you say the cat is indoor only!

My favorite cat shelter. Hardworking employees and volunteers keep these kitties in great shape. Its like a mini cat hotel. We frequently visit here just to give the cats a visit and some love. I would definilty recommend adopting from Cat Haven or donating to them. I think the environment and care standard they set for these cats gives a great atmosphere for their personalities to shine. Ive fostered kittens for Cat Haven before and had to surrender 1 kitten about 2 years ago and I recently surrendered 2 kittens just days ago. (all of which were strays and needed permanent homes). Both times Cat Haven was consistently helpful, organized, and caring. Great place to adopt as the care that goes into maintaining the happiness of the cats and kittens is top tier.

We had a wonderful experience with Cat Haven! We adopted our two kittens from them. When one of them got a cold soon after adoption, Cat Haven helped us by giving us medicine, not just for our sick kitty but for both of them. I would absolutely recommend that anyone looking to adopt in the BR area visit Cat Haven.
My son & I visited Cat Haven this past Saturday and we were so impressed with Everything about Cat Haven! The staff/volunteers were all friendly and helpful, the facility itself was so clean and organized and all of the kittens & cats were all in clean environments conducive to their comfort & happiness. They all had kitten & cat friendly toys, climbing areas, hammocks, etc. The adoption process was thorough and done very professionally. We were even able to meet the sweet lady that had previously fostered the kitten my son chose to adopt. She was very kind & caring and shared her experiences with him. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cat Haven if youre looking to add a furbaby to your family :) Great place! Great experience!
Cat Haven is an amazing facility. Back in the flood of August 2016 we lost not only our house, but both of our cats. It was absolutely devastating. The house we moved into has a strict no pet policy, but Cat Haven is always happy to let me & my youngest in to do some socializing with the cats.Even during the cold days lately theyve had a warm, but not suffocatingly-so building and you can tell all of the cats are nice and comfortable. Everything is clean, the volunteers and staff are kind and personable, and the cats are so, so sweet. Hoping one day soon we can stop being window shoppers and finally take home a baby of our own. Until then... thank you, Cat Haven, for letting us come and love on the cats until they find a furever home.
Cat Haven is a wonderful organization dedicated to helping felines. They offer a multitude of services. If youre thinking about spaying/neutering, adoption or placement for your cat, this place is their best chance at a happy healthy life.
I love Cat Haven. They were all so sweet to us. We adopted two kittens for the holidays last year!The reason I am giving it a 3 is because the place smelled HORRIBLE. My whole family wanted to get out quick. It was disgusting. Also when we got our kittens they smelled, had diarrhea, and had a cold. You could also see their ribs. It was so sad. One cat was bleeding when he urined and the other had ring worms. This all happened in the first months after we adopted. They are fine now after multiple pet visits. Be prepared for this when you adopt!

I had to surrender a kitten that I found in a ditch and a coworker told me about cat haven. I emailed back and forth with the director there and set up a time to drop off the kitten after she found a foster home for her. The process was quick and easy and after seeing how happy and healthy the other cats were I felt very confident that the little kitten I had found was going to be in a safe and loving environment.

We got our cat from CatHaven after they rescued her from a public shelter! The people here really care about the animals they are trying to save and giving those animals loving homes. There are so many cats of varying ages that youre bound find one youll love while supporting a no kill shelter. Im glad we came, and I would return if we wanted to adopt another cat! Highly recommended.
Abby and the girls are a blessing. Im so glad there places and people who genuinely care and are there helping the cat world. They are true heros in my book. I appreciate everything they do and have helped myself and others, I encourage everyone to adopt and help these ladies out!

They suck. Wanted to bring a kitten I found at work instead of shelter that may have kill her if she doesnt get adopted. She is living in my car because my cat is not use to other cats. They didnt care if she was in the cold. They wanted a application filled out and wait several days before that might consider taking her. They didnt even care she was living in the car. Real caring people. NOT.
Found a stray mama cat and her four babies. Cat Haven has been a blessing with all of the help they have given me and the love that they have for all of the kitties is amazing!!!!Ms Glenda is awesome!!! P.S. SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PETS AND TREAT THEM LIKE THE BEAUTIFUL BLESSINGS THAT THEY ARE!!

We adopted our cats from them - sweetest things ever! 2 sisters who want nothing but a lot of love and attention. Theyre not de-clawed, but never put their claws out (except bath time), important since our daughter is 5. The staff was really sweet and friendly when we were adopting as well!

We visited this shelter to find a young cat that would fit well with our cat at home. When we entered I was kind of in shock with how well kept, clean, & how inviting the atmosphere here was. As soon as we walked in we were greeted warmly and asked if we needed any help. Many Volunteers helped us find our purr-fect kitten/cat and were very informative. I was even so intrigued I asked to take a tour around their facility. All of their adult cats were in their very own rooms, either alone or with other cats similar in age. They were not overcrowded or dirty. It looked somewhat like a cat suite. They each had a window and plenty of toys and climbing fixtures on the walls. They all seemed very content and happy. It made me happy to see how many cats they were able to adopt out to loving homes on their board. They kept track. Anyway, We get to pick up our little Graycee in about a week after she gets micro-chipped and spayed and we are SO EXCITED to let her meet her new playmate.
I love this place. Sometimes I come just to play with the cats. Ive gotten 3 rescues from here and theyre great cats.

We just adopted a kitten from here. Everyone who worked here were very friendly, very knowledgeable, and made the entire process extremely easy. My daughters love their new kitten, and Id do it again in a second, but I dont want a house full of cats.

Adopted our cat from here this past August. We had been researching cat rescues and decided to stop by petsmart during an adoption event. There were quite a few cats available but I immediately was drawn to a feisty tuxedo kitten who was leaping around his cage. The other cats looked pretty upset with all the noise and attention but this one wasnt fazed at all. He just wanted to play! It was literally love at first sight, I had to have him. His foster mom said he was a lot of fun and full of personality and she was absolute right. The staff were really nice and the adoption was quick. We took him home that day and in the first hour it seemed like wed had him forever. We absolutey love this cat! He is so unique and has made our lives better in so many ways. I definitely recommend adopting from them, its a great experience!
Project Purr BR and Cat Haven supposedly merged together. I adopted a kitten from ProjectPurr when they were set up at the Mall Of Louisiana. The cats were clean and very well taken care of. My kitten was staying with a foster family until I adopted him. Now, when I go to Pet Smart and see the cats and kittens, they are covered with fleas! You can actually see the fleas crawling on these poor babies. The cats just look like they are not taken care of. Breaks my heart, I wish I could take them all.care of. T
This is the worst place please do not use this agency!!!! They ask that you email them using their system on the website and then fail to email or respond. I emailed on a Thursday afternoon and did not hear anything back from them until Tuesday. When I called on Monday to see the estimated time April told me that my email was not of importance and they would respond when they had a chance. Then when they finally responded the email was lacking proper grammar and appeared to be rushed. It asked for a response from me, which I provided promptly. However, once again 3 days went by before I heard from anyone again. Obviously, they are not concerned with the welfare or placement of cats. I would urge anyone considering this organization to think otherwise and find a organization that is respectful and reputable. Very disappointed in the quality of this group.

I have left multiple messages and somehow my two applications for abandoned cats were lost I never received a phone call back and after the verbal shoulder-shrugging from the people on the phone I simply told them I would pursue other options. I have adopted a cat from them before and had a good experience which is why I pursued them. I would not recommend this organization.
