I was working with this guy James who worked at Trinstar, and he was great, but after he left there was zero service there. I purchased a TV app from them for $20 per month. It never worked correctly and most of the time didnt work at all, so I called them and told them I wanted to cancel it. They were nice enough on the phone and said they would take care of it and cancel my auto debit, but they never did. So far they have taken $60 out of my account over the last three months. I have called them repeatedly and they never answer or call back. My bank says the only way to stop it is to cancel my card which is a huge hassle as you all know. Please do yourself a favor and steer clear of TrinStar. I love supporting a local business and always tried to do so but this has been a horrible experience.

I have never left a negative review of anything but I would leave zero stars here if I could! They are experts at sweet talking during the sale, promise they will be there every step just call anytime, then never answer the phone and don’t return calls...ever! I was sold a unit that I was told would give me unlimited WiFi, later found out the company doesn’t even offer unlimited any more! Couldn’t ask about the discrepancy because no one would answer the phone. My installer was wonderful but the guys in the office are horrible! Do yourself a favor and find ANYONE else!

Chuck is always professional, helpful and helped find the right package for our needs. They also helped us after installation when we had some problems with the provider. Thats why weve come back to him and referred others to them. Good local company.

Well good at the sales part of it. But any follow up is horrible. The salespeople make it sound like you can count on them for everything but when there is a problem and yes there will be a problem they pawn it off onto someone else saying we are just the seller. Well your sales staff says something else in order to get the sale. Horrible customer service after the sale. You are better off just contacting the providers directly than to have them set you up.So. Stay away from this company.

This place is horrible. They make promises they do not keep. Good luck trying to reach them on the phone. You will get voice mail and don’t expect a call back. When you try and get your money back because they could not deliver on their promises, they will give you the runaround. You will have to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to attempt to get your money back. We are now fighting for the $1239.97 that is owed to us. You have been warned to avoid this place at all costs!

USE A PHONE NOT ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR ACCOUNT AND BINGO THEY ANSWER. THE COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN THE ASSOCIATE THAT LOOKS AT HOME EQUIPMENT AND HIS ASSESSMENT IS NOT COMMUNICATED. HENCE, THE NEXT GUY WHO CAME (SOME DAYS LATER) DOES NOT HAVE THE NECESSARY EQUIPMENT TO FIX THE PROBLEM. Do Not Trust them. Had a terrible time with this company, Scott, Chris and the owner Ken all made promises they did not keep. All they did for me was sign me up for dish network, reduce my current service, had me pay more for it and never did what Scott initially said he would do.I can only say that this was the worst experience with any company at any time I have ever had. They just let your call go to voicemail and never called back.I should clarify that I was always respectful, they did not deserve it!!!!!

Trinstar is by far the worst company Ive ever dealt with. They dont deserve 1 star! They dont follow through with promises, dont return calls and if they do happen to answer the phone they are no help. Weve had 2 bad experiences and there will not be a 3rd! Our 1st experience was in 2018 when we switched from DirecTV to Dish. We dealt with Kris and it ended up costing us money because he didnt do what he said he would. We just gave them another chance by updating our Hughes Net. The installer was fine but I placed a call to James (per his request) and he never returned the call. I contacted Hughes Net directly to see if the old equipment needed to be returned only to find out that a 2nd account had been set up when the upgrade was made. Thankfully I found this out before we received 2 bills. My advice - dont deal with Trinstar!

This place is a joke! I should have realized this from the start. The best advice I have to give to people is not to go with them. They will make your life harder with constant phone calls to get the products that you purchase fixed. I purchased an android box from them that never worked correctly and had two people out here to fix it. When I had enough I was able to get ahold of the owner of the company. He told me I could send the android box back to them and he would refund me the $200 that I spent on the box and the shipping of $7.25. I’m sure he fully knew he never would. I called for a week following. He avoided my phone calls and when I finally got ahold of him he said that my money was going to be refunded the end of the month due to when his accountant came in to cut the check. Here we are starting the second week of the following month with no check or refund in sight!!I guess the conclusion of this review to have buyers beware not to go with this shady company. The way we have to look at it as a learning experience we can pass onto others!

I went toTrinstar to get internet and satellite TV package. I was greeted by an associate manager who promised the world. I asked him to write down the costs and he said that in order to do that he had to fill out the agreement and I sign it. I told him Id like time to think about the verbal prices he gave me. Then he said to lock in the price I must sign the agreement now and he would submit it if I accepted the terms by calling and we finished filling out the details. The agreement would be destroyed if I did not call. He gave me his card upon leaving. During my visit phone calls with complaints were coming in constantly. One of the reps told the customer I was just going to call you. One other rep told the person answering the phone to tell that person he was off that day. A few days later I called and the number and he was not available and left a message. I called the following day and again not available. I called the number on the business card and it was disconnected. I then found out his name on the card was misspelled. Doing some research Trinstar had two former locations in Warsaw now closed. I also found out Trinstar has the worst rating you can get from the BBB F

Trinstar stopped responding to the BBB just like their customers, Trinstar not even smart enough to post their bogus comments.Get ready for an attitude and a fight Thats if you can get them to return your call.. 1. installation was great2. this is the second time I was quoted a price but ended up paying more for the kind of service I wanted3. I was told that Trinstar would disconnect directv, but I had to call and it was not turned off for 2 days.4. I had to create refer a friend to get the price near to what I wanted. but it runs out in 10 months and I am committed to 2 years.5. after the review was posted, Trinstar contacted me to make the deal correct. I appreciate the quick response. they could not have been more helpful in setting this correct. they even offered to keep the price at what I wanted to pay and also offered to help me get the Yankee games thru the internet.6. Service after the sale has been very good. It makes me feel good that they were concerned about my problem. They could not have been more helpful.

I called Trinstar on 7/5/2018 to see about them coming out to service my dish network. However Chris Ball at the Batavia N Y on main st branch gave me a nice pitch about his program and it being local. I am all about local buisnesses and supporting them. He said repairs or questions etc answered and taken care of right away.The only cost i would incurre was 0 dollars and the first payment would be 12 days later. Thats great I said. He set me up for installment Friday morning between 9 and 11:am. I called back that Thursday again to validate no charges and installment time later that Thursday and i was told yes everything was confirmed. At thispoint I felt really great, due to having a local company to support and take care of my cable. Friday came and i checked my bank statement and observed a charge for 53 dollars. So i texted Chris right away however i did not get a response. So I went the there office right at 9:am to talk with Chris but there was another gentleman there that took care of me. He told me Chris would be in around 10:00am, i asked him to see the paperwork to make sure I was not going to get hit with additional fees. He asked when my installment was and I told him today Friday between 9:00am and 11:00am. And he confirmed it and showed me the paperwork the installer would bring. So I went back to my house and waited and waited it was 11:20am and I called Trinstar and sked for Chris, the lady that answered the phone said he would be in Monday. Now remember the first gentlemen I met at 9am said Chris would be in at 10am. So i explained to the lady that answered the phone that I was scheduled for an install between 9 and 10am. NO one called this is a LOCAL company trying to make a good impression remember this. I tell her I will stop by to get my refund of 53 dollars. Upon my arrival I see 8 to 10 people in the office and I tell the first gentlemen who I am looking for and he points to Chris in the other room. When Chris comes out he tells me the cable boxes did not come in, now I have a couple issues with this knowing how the COMPANY is trying to make a good impression on the LOCAL community. S o I didnt receive a phone call due to being charged the 53 dollars, I didnt receive a phone call that The installer would not show up, I didnt receive a phone call the cable boxes didnt come in. So I ask you How many chances did they have? Please think not once, not twice, not three times because they dont care about you they only care about getting there bonus. If the owner was true, he would have come out of the office himself and said I am truely sorry . See at the end of the day its about ownership, You own the mistakes that YOUR people make and YOU should make it right. Make it personal it shows character and YOU care. You only get one chance, if that individual tells one person and asks them to do the same in a LOCAL community what happens????
