We LOVE Hurricane Hedgehogs!!! We have gotten two hedgehogs now from Selena. She’s a responsible hedgehog breeder and loves what she does. Our first hedgehog will be 2yrs old in January. Her name is Nurse Prickles and she is an absolute delight!! She has an incredibly social personality and goes to school, church, and assisted living facilities to make visits with us. Our second one is named Betty and she is very active and also social too.

We wanted to get a male and a female of our own to have some babies. When we told her this she hung up the phone pretty abruptly and said I don’t sell to breeders. We had a ton of questions and were just being honest so I definitely won’t be recommending them based off their customer relation skills. Well find ours somewhere else

When I decided I wanted to own a hedgehog, I joined numerous groups and did tons of research. I almost bought one from a local pet store but thankfully I ran across hurricane hedgehogs and decided to wait for a better quality one! So many people in the groups I’m in talk about how unfriendly their hedgehogs are or how long it takes to socialize them. I had my baby home for 4 hours and she was running across my couch, sniffing me, and letting me touch her belly. It is now the second day and she hardly balls up on me and is even very friendly with my 2 year old daughter. You won’t regret getting your hedgehog from Selena! He/she will be socialized, friendly, and very well bred. 😊
