I had been putting off some dental work that my previous dentist had recommended because I was anxious about having it done. Dr. Jamie made me feel comfortable and was very patient with me while completing her work. First saw Dr. Mark a few months ago for tooth pain. His staff was great and made me feel immediately at ease. Im starting a procedure for dentures and they are working with me to make this a comfortable transition in a very limited amount of time. I have a wedding coming up soon and they have been more than accommodating. I highly recommend Dr. Mark and will continue going to see him.

The doctor and his staff are very welcoming. I was about to deploy with the US Army and had a bit of work to get done . I explained my situation and they made an action plan to get everything done within a week . Am very grateful of the doctor and staff giving the extra mile to help me out . On another note they are very friendly and make conversations before, during and after the procedures making the visit at least for me very enjoyable even for a guy like me that don’t like going to dentists .

Ive been going to Dr. Hofmeister for over 15 years and hes very pleasant and a wonderful professional. He has an impressive education background and yet hes very humble. All of the dental hygienists are wonderful too. Flora is fantastic with kids - she was able to clean the teeth my son, who was 2.5 years at the time.

Looking for a good dentist? Dr. Hofmeister is very considerate, kind and gentle. Ive been going to him for over 25 years, but although he always stressed flossing, I really didnt do it. Recently however,I promised him that I would floss every single day and after 6 months ... what a difference. Now Im convinced and Im going to continue to floss every day.

Dr. Mark and Jamie Hofmeister are excellent dentists. They work diligently until they have finished the work and the results are wonderful. As a new patient I was given a Saturday appointment. I had tooth pain and Dr. Mark worked on me for a couple of hours until the tooth was fixed. My parents have gone to Dr. Hofmeister for quite a few years and are extremely happy with their work and their staff. The dental hygienists are very thorough and explain their whole procedure. Dr Hofmeister is not the first dentist I have ever seen but he will most certainly be the last. Having had multiple distressing experiences with dentists I was extremely anxious about getting a check up. Dr Hofmeister and his excellent team of staff put me at ease and walked me through every step.

The staff is very nice. But when I came to Dr. Hofmeister last fall complaining of a sore in my mouth that would not heal, he dismissed it. I elected to go directly to an oral surgeon, who removed the lesion and sent it to a lab. The results were carcinoma. If I had listened to Dr Hofmeister who told me it was nothing to worry about, the cancer surely would have spread by now. He needs to listen to his patients and brush up on his training. I saved my own life.

I have been to several dentist due to a great deal of moving around in my life. I must say that this particular office has it all.Dr Hofmesiter has a very clean office, he is caring, very gentle and explains each and every option for your best dental care. He listens to you when you express your concerns and explains the procedures and how much insurance will cover and how much it will cost.His staff could not be any more friendly. A truly positive environment that makes you feel welcome and cared for from the minute you walk in until you leave. I truly do not know what more you could ask for from a dental operation and therefore I am dropping all five stars because I seriously cannot think of a single thing wrong.

I was there last year and was taken care of. When I scheduled my 6 month appt. I received a phone call a week before telling me my appointment was lost and had to reschedule. So I did for a month later, I go there for my new appointment time and they tell me Im not scheduled for a cleaning. This is the second time this happened. I cant keep rescheduling appointments with them every month. I still have the voicemail of them telling me they lost my appointment.

Dr. Hofmeister and everyone in this office is amazing!! My parents are new to the area and have had some bad experiences with other dentists until we were lucky enough to find Dr. Hofmeister. He is so compassionate and does excellent work. Both of my parents are in their 80s and have needed emergency appointments. One issue happened on a Sunday and I left a message thinking I would hear from the office on Monday, but Dr. Hofmeister actually called later that day, just to check and get more details about the issue. Then, we were able to schedule an appointment and get the problem resolved right away. He and his entire staff are all friendly, professional and very caring. SO glad we found Dr. Hofmeister!!

Our family has been with Dr Mark Hofmeister since 2001. For me hes the best dentist Ive been with so far. At other practices, they sent me to multiple specialists to get one thing done (and sent me multiple large bills!); with this practice, everything can be done at the same place. I find him very competent in many areas in a quiet way. Before him, my experience with dental visits ranged from being scared to being stressed. Since I moved here, he fixed all my teeth once, and since then theres been no more problems. He also fixed a cosmetic issue that none of my previous dentists was able to fix. We feel this is a practice that we can trust who will fix the real issues and not pad the bill with unnecessary items. All the staff are cheerful, helpful and sympathetic. I highly recommend Dr Hofmeisters practice to anyone.

My endodontist recommended Dr. Mark Hofmeister to finish treatment (sealing) a tooth that had an infected root canal (originally treated 8 years ago).I greatly appreciated Dr. Hofmeisters conservative approach in sealing my existing crown instead of replacing it!Since then, Dr. Mark Hofmeister retired and his daughter, Jamie, is now my primary dentist. I couldnt be happier to have found Hofmeister Family Dentistry!Flora, the hygenist who cleaned my teeth after a 2 year hiatus due primarily to Covid-19, was very thorough and educational about the best way to care for my teeth and gums. I actually enjoyed having my teeth cleaned, something Ive never been able to say before!The warm atmosphere, kind staff and their conservative approach to my issues will keep me coming back as well as referring Dr. Jamie to friends and family.

I have been visiting Dr. Hofmeister for dental care my entire life (20+ years) and he and his staff have never been anything but wonderful, welcoming, and fantastic. Today, I just had a cavity filled (my first one) and the entire procedure was quick and painless - completely exceeded my expectations.

My dentist of over 14 years just recently retired so I was forced to find a new one. I had an issue with a temporary filling, and despite never having been there before, they got me in the following day where another dentist wouldnt see me for over two weeks. They also scheduled me for my semi-annual cleaning just 5 days later. Both appointments were INCREDIBLE. Dr. Hofmeister did a wonderful job repairing my tooth and Flora, his assistant was the most remarkable hygienist I have EVER had the pleasure of meeting. I learned more about my teeth in one hour than I had in the last 30 years lol! They entire staff is extremely warm and friendly and I would recommend them to any of my family or friends. Finding a great dentist is just as important as finding a great mechanic. Well, all I need is a mechanic now!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hofmeister around 30 years. 15 yrs ago I had bit down on a rib and my front tooth had to be bonded for security since I loosened it off the bone. Mark made sure it was cosmetically attractive and it was rebonded over the years. July 4th of this year 2016 (Monday) I bit down and injured the front tooth again. I called him immediately and he asked me to come in the next day (Tuesday). He said I had fractured the front tooth above the gum line and it couldnt be saved. He rebonded it, took a composite of it, sent it out to have them make me a replacement front tooth, Wednesday I went back to work and my tooth was secure enough till the surgery. Marc made an appointment for Thursday to have the tooth surgically removed by a DDS MD in Bartlett had my flipper delivered at the surgical office. After the surgery they put it in the flipped but it didnt fit perfect, called Dr. Hofmeister that same afternoon after surgery he fitted properly the front tooth and Saturday I was teaching a Lifeguard class. Nobody noticed. In less than a week I was able to smile big and wide and no one could tell. Thanks Dr. Hofmeister, you have always made my smile beautiful. He is truly compassionate and understanding.

My family has been with Dr. Hofmeister for 28 years now. (Wife & I are mid-50s, twin sons 29 now). Dr. Hofmeister and his staff are technically very competent, extremely pleasant, and have a very nice office with the latest of technology to keep you smiling healthy (for example he has replaced old-school Xrays with a digital image system). We moved from Streamwood to Wauconda many years ago but still use Dr. Hofmeister because of the great service we have gotten over these decades... worth the 45 minute drive. Also they always take care of all of the insurance billing things promptly and accurately so I dont have to file a bunch of paperwork and wait for reimbursements.Our vote=the max=5 stars. Great doctor, great staff.
