Took my iMac in for some upgrade that needed to be done. My iMac that is an 2012 runs like a brand new 2019 computer. They upgraded my ram and hard drive to an ssd. I would recommend them to anyone. Professional, knowledgeable and prices are affordable.

I made a terrible mistake recently. Thinking I was talking to my internet provider‘s technical support staff, I allowed them to remotely control my computer. BIG MISTAKE. I got hacked by these scammers, panicked and disconnected my internet and shut the computer down. Luckily, a family member had a great experience with Snappy, so I called them. Mind you, I live in Florida.I was blessed to have Curtis help me get through what I felt was a disastrous situation. He was so kind, patient, and smart, he walked me through every step to get my computer up and safely running again. If I’d taken my older IMac to the “geniuses” at the Apple store, I know I would have been patronized (because I’m older) and told nothing could be done for my older machine. (I’ve had this experience with them before.)Curtis was better than an Apple “Genius.” He was my “Hacker Avenging Angel!” I am very, very grateful to Snappy and the support I received from them!

Pros: They got me up and running again, and gave me some great advice that Ive followed. The people are super nice.Cons: Lack of communication. There wasnt any communication about what was going on with my computer, or what was being done to it, from the time I dropped it off until I picked it up, so I was a little surprised to learn some things when I got it back. (I had a totally different operating system when I got my computer back. It would have been nice to know about before hand because I would have asked for something different, or at least been given the opportunity to explore other options, or give the go-ahead to proceed or leave it be.)Ask a lot of questions, even the what if questions if you can.

I went to multiple computer repair stores, and all of them turned me down because I had a “modified computer.” Well thankfully i tried snappy computer because they were my last resort. They had great customer service, and kept me updated frequently on what was wrong with my computer.

Had a MacBook Pro that had become outdated with software, updates virus protection and had basically became a paperweight. The computer had several thousand pictures, documents and saved information, but logging in had become a chore, if it even worked at all. Curtis was able to diagnose, repair, update and upgrade all within a very tight timeline with a very reasonable rate. He took the time to explain what was wrong and what had to be corrected, in language I could understand. With a laptop having sensitive information, be very cautious who you leave it with for any length of time. I would trust Snappy with any tech equipment in my house! Highly recommended!
