I made an appointment online for 10:15. I arrived at 10:02. The woman at the desk said she had an appointment at 10 coming in. That she could take me if the appointment didnt show up. Then she proceeded to tell me I shouldnt have made the appointment online, because they get overbooked. The appointment came at 10:10. So I made an appointment and drove there for nothing. There was another hair cutter. I guess she had appointments too. She didnt ask me to wait or make another appointment. All she could say was sorry. I have been going to fantastic Sams for years. This is the first time I was treated so rudely.

I got a haircut once here. The stylist who did it, her name may be Brittany, I forgot, did a top notch job! Id continue to go here if I hadnt moved. Thank you!

This location was extremely busy due to the newly lifted restrictions, so the hour and 20 minutes I waited was acceptable. This was true especially because my stylist was so talented and friendly. Brittany comes highly recommended, definitely will go back. Super affordable and more than happy with the results.

It was okay they did a good job

They did a good job on my hair but they did a horrible job on my sons hair. At first it looked good when it was wet but when his hair got dried. You can see the unevenness and she cut the back of my sons neck. Im really wanting to get a refund for his hair. This is ridiculous.

No air conditioning on even though it was over 100 degrees . Stylist had the audacity to basically ask if I wanted to put something extra on the bill. Kind of classless to ask for a tip even though I always give one. Nothing special about the place, just a shop to get a haircut.

Finally found another stylist that I like there. She was great with me and was very helpful in adjusting my hair to a slightly hair style. Cannot remember her name but she is the first booth on the right as you walk in the front door

Great spot to get my haircut. Had one bad experience with a rude hairdresser. The only reason why its 4 and not 5 is because of her. Im not going into detail about the incident because 4/5 times we have been there was a great experience.

Took my son to get his haircut nothing fancy requested just a trim and line up neck and ears. Very simple request. Well as soon as I walk to sit I hear the clippers on and bam shes doing everything I had asked her not to do!!!! Taking the clippers with no guard and starts to cut opposite of what was asked. Son is super disappointed never gonna go back. Will never recommend them to no one.

Went in with long thick hair and asked the woman to chop it off and later it. My hair is a challenge and she accepted and was very excited. Im so very picky but this woman gave me exactly what I came in for. Im very happy with my experience.

This was a pleasant experience. The staff knows the business and does an excellent job on both ladies and men. They also had a knack of being able to take care of cutting childrens hair. They are very effective with time and do a quality job in a reasonable amount of time. I would reccomend this establishment to anyone.

Worst cut ever!conversation was good. Very expensive. A $30 haircut and all I wanted was my hair in layers I got no layers and 6 inches cut off the bottom,which I was clear about not compromising,my length. Now,I hate my hair! It was nearly waist length! She said a later would be no problem. But I came out of there with my hair mid-back length!Im definitely not going back Ever

Out of all of Barstow, my 16 year old son only goes to Tina. He loves the way she cuts his hair and how quick she is. I went in recently and Yesi cut my hair and I was extremely satisfied with the cut. She listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I asked for. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because I wish they took appointments once in a while. I don’t always have time to wait but at least the wait goes fast.

Best place for a haircut!!! :) I’ve had the same long curly hair since small and I wanted to try a new style. It’s scary going into a new place because you always think,”What if they do a bad trim? What if it comes out bad? What if they mess up?” But not this place! The staff is friendly and quick, yet they pay attention to every delicate hair on your head. They are attentive and for being a busy and popular place, they take your demands seriously!

I am been going here for many years always get what I want staff and atmosphere are fantastic I took the risk on trying to go with someone else to save a few bucks but trust me it is so worth to spend whatever extra money you need to be good they will get the job done correctly and as you desire kudos to this place they actually have good customer service and for those who are reading this you know darn well customer service does not exist

Went today to get haircut for my kid was not pleased at all. Gave $20 and only received back $3 the person doing my kids haircut and person who I paid to was Lorraine. Not cool. Kept her own tip smdh.

Worst hair cut I ever received. I went in with pretty long hair. Told the women low fade 3, a little off the top, and please do not touch my side burns. She said she understood everything after I clarified it with her. She shaved everything off the sides, completely ignoring the low fade...there was not a fade at all on the sides. She completely shaved my side burns off, after I told please do not touch them Ill trim them myself. I have no side burns now, and before they went down to the bottom of my earlobe. She took way too much off the top after I told her to take only a little. Also the top is uneven. She completely took off my bangs, they were long before...all gone now. And she pushed my hairline back the farthest I have ever seen. Worst haircut I have ever recieved. I honestly think it was because they were closing 30 minutes when I arrived. And she ignored everything I said and rushed the hair cut. Very unproffesional, I do not recommend going there.

I got my hair cut and I was dissatisfied, but went back to get my kids hair cut and LOVE how good of a job they did.

I went to get a haircut 30 minutes before closing time posted on the door sign and i told one of the ladies that i will be returning in a few minutes because there were 3 customers ahead of me when I retuned in 10 minutes the door was locked. That is unprofessional, i knocked on the door but no-one opened, so i waited outside a few more minutes ands saw someone open the door to let a customer out of the salon. They should change the sign at the door so customers are aware of the actual closing time, too bad we dont have too much to choose from in Barstow and to deal this kind of bussiness.

Was hands down the worst hair cut and service Ive ever received. The lady cutting my hair, first one on the left when you walk in behave as if she was on drugs. Every cut she made was nervous and jumpy. When she began cutting my hair, she used super dull scissors without wetting my hair down. After being showered in a downfall of my hair and getting my hair yanked out with the dull scissors, I asked her to wet the top of my head as should be the standard. She apologized and gave me a paper towel to wipe off my face because thats how bad it was. After wetting my hair she then used trimmers... is that normal? Very bizarre experience and wont be coming here again, despite my positive past experiences
