We took bids from three different local companies before settling with Total Comfort solutions. Total Comfort was the last bid. The representative of the first company (company 1) was very professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to educate us on HVAC systems. He also gave us his best recommendations for the house. The representative was patient, kind and genuine. However, the price for the installation of the unit we thought most ideal for our application was really high. The representative of the second company came and went without saying too much but his price was the lowest. However he did not elaborate or promised to do anything other than installing a unit (by that time I understood that installing a unit involved quite a bit more work) Then came John at Total Comfort Solutions. Just like the representative of the first company he was very thorough and professional in his explanations and what he was committed to do in terms of all the side work that comes with installing a HVAC unit . His price for the installation of the most ideal unit (which, by the way, had almost all the same specifications as company 1s unit) came to about $4200 less than company 1s quote. The choice for us was obvious. John and his crew were careful not to make things messier than needed and he was also respectful of our privacy. On top of that, we got a box of free filters and carbon monoxide detectors all throughout the house. One week into the install and we are quite satisfied with our choice. I will do a long term review in a year or two.

Called John to ask about getting annual maintenance done on my unit and he was able to come by within the hour. He tested everything very thoroughly on the roof, every room with a vent, and even in the attic to make sure everything was working as intended. He cleaned the coils and replaced my air filter too. He also gave me a breakdown of all the services he provided to include before and after photos and the future service he will provide as part of my maintenance plan. We desperately needed more air flow going in to our master bedroom. I am so glad I called John with Total Comfort Solutions. He and Mike came in and told us, without promises, they would try to keep the cost low and fix the problem, but we may have to spend more money for our needs. He explained in detail what was done as well as give a variety of options and recommendations to keep the house cooler during summer. John came to my home about 2 1/2 mths ago. My AC was not working, was so worried it would need to be replaced, and I did not have $5000.00 to replace it. He is so nice and very professional. John and his assistant would put on these covers over their shoes so they wouldnt dirty the carpet, I have never seen anyone do that. He fixed the AC and it did not need to be replaced. Then about a mth later the blower went out, so I called John right away. He was not able to come and fix it for a day, but he brought us a portable AC unit that you put in the window, it was a brand new unit that worked perfect so we did not have to go stay the night with family or pay for a motel room.
