I was traveling on business and had a flat tire in Bardstown. Both tire shops in town told me it would be at least two hour before they could even look at my tire. I called Bourbon City Auto Repair and they took me right in! Great repair, short wait, very helpful and polite staff!
Fair prices. Good work. Fast. Had to call to see if my car was ready but that wasnt a big deal.
These guys are friendly and very professional and courteous. They identified my issues and walked me to the car and showed me which I never get done by other automotive shops. This is my 1st experience here and Im proud to say that Daniel and his team are the Best!
Most of the time when you call a shop you get some grumpy old man who answers. Not here! Really good group of guys. I had my Odyssey timing belt and alternator replaced at less than half of what other places wanted. Theyve never charged me a diagnosis. I usually fix things myself but as affordable as they are Ill just take it to them! You cannot go wrong with these guys!
They fixed my SUV with no problem. Even offered to fix my car that other companies didnt want to even talk about. They are good at scheduling and efficient at what they do. Price is right and highly recommended!
Great Service 👍
Honest mechanic trying to make an honest living rather than gouging customers like some other shops. I’ve had several vehicles worked on over the past few years, Danny always does everything in his power to make sure his customers are satisfied. I would recommend him to anyone over the dealerships and other auto shops. Polite, courteous and knowledgeable.
Danny and the guys were amazing. I was on a 3 month road trip trip and I got an oil change a quick lube place in Louisville. They told me I had a transmission leak 8/10 bad. I was worried. I call Bourbon City in hopes that they could take a look. They got me in right away. Cleaned things up and inspected. No leak. Stupid oil change place. Causing me stress for no reason. Danny was awesome to dealwith. I highly recommend.
Danny and his staff are very knowledgeable. I am very impressed and highly recommend.
Did a dam good job at a far price
These guys do great work!
Guys were friendly and ready to take custody of my car so they can diagnose and fix it. They were kind enough to give me a ride home.
They were polite, fair priced, and got the job finished within a timely manner without me having to call and make an appointment ahead of time, Im very satisfied with the service I received.
We’ve had our vehicle worked on here many times and have always been very pleased. Fast and friendly service at an amazing price. Danny has always been able to get our Expedition in tip-top shape for the best price in town. Very highly recommend!
Danny fixed my A/C during the stretch of 90° temperatures. He was able to get me in on the same day and fixed it while I waited! He was knowledge and professional. His accommodations were really nice and now I have cool air for my familys comfort. I would recommend! The place is a little tricky to find being off the road a little but was definitely worth finding!
Excellent service at a great price
Bourbon City Auto Repair is a honest garage, that does Excellent work at a very affordable price. Danny the owner/mechanic takes great pride in his work and it shows with the quality and attention to detail he puts into each job. Customer for life.
They are friendly and got me in the same day and they are cheaper than my old mechanic will use them again👍
Honest guys, saved me a lot of money. Thanks again!
Good service. Honest people to deal with.
I chose this repair shop based on the positive reviews. Huge mistake! Danny recommended a new engine for our truck to which we accepted his advise and were told it would take about two and a half weeks to complete. It took 6 weeks to get it back the first time, then we had to pay for 3 additional trips/tows back to him as the engine was not installed properly. Here I am 4 months later, I have my truck but its still not operating properly. It stalls out all of the time and I have to take it to a capable mechanic to have it fixed right. Im so disappointed in Dannys work and the amount of excuses we were given along the way. One of the tow truck drivers actually told me to stay away from this shop since Danny is never working when he arrives. Words really cant describe how terrible this experience has been and Im writing this to help save you the trouble. Go somewhere else!
Edit: My experience here with Mazda has been good, but Mercedes issues have been very hit or miss.
Excellent, honest, reasonable, timely
Very nice and know what theyre doing
I wouldnt trust anyone else working on my vehicles when it comes to big jobs or even small oil changes. Danny has a keen ear to hear certain noises that I hear and is able to pinpoint the problem and get it fixed in the time he said he would (my last mechanic would always put it off and put others first since we were neighbors) hes more than fair on his prices, couldnt find anyone cheaper and anyone that can get it in the time frame he could. Promise, you wouldnt be disappointed in someone as honest and trustworthy as Danny. Thanks for your hard work.
Fair prices and quick work. No BS
Being from out of town we just took a chance and called Bourbn City Auto Repair. Doug took good care of us.
Excellent shop! Good honest people! Good work, my car is driving better than it has in a while!
Very good food clean good service
Great staff very knowledgable
Great deals and great work
This is the first review Ive ever written on the internet as I am generally a very understanding person, sometimes to my own detriment. I purchased an 83 Ram about year ago. My engine died in November and took it to Danny. I had no experience driving an older truck and didnt realize my oil pressure was low (Danny made sure he reminded me that it was my fault any chance he could get). On January 18th I authorized Danny to purchase and install a new 318 engine. I was told it would take 1.5 to 2 weeks for the job to be completed. I played phone tag and exchanged texts throughout the month of February looking for status updates. Finally on March 1st it was ready for pickup. The truck never ran well, repeatedly stalled and required feathering to remain running, even in hot weather. Took it back to Danny, he said he replaced the choke on the carburater. Picked it up, same result. Constant stalling, 20 minutes of feathering and warming up, acceleration issues. A few days later I sent him a video asking what I was doing wrong, he told me my battery sounded weak. I replaced the battery but to no avail. The same problems persisted. I then tried calling him for the next four days until finally I had to send a certified letter as I had yet to receive my receipt for the work done. To this point I had only received a receipt with the amount I paid. He finally sent me a text after receiving my letter essentially telling me he would look at it again but that I had no experience driving an old truck and that I didnt notice my low oil pressure prior to the engine dying. He also told me that he had spent more time on it than I was being charged for. So I essentially spent $3,000 and was now being told that I didnt know what I was doing and that I was somehow getting a deal. I took it to another mechanic who told me that the choke on the carb wasnt even hooked up and that he sprayed break cleaner around the intake and that there are vacuum leaks all over the intake manifold and that he would not fix another mechanics mess. We took it back to Danny where he told me that my intake was warped and had it decked by a machine shop. Weve been driving it for about 3 weeks and the same problems persist. We can get it started now but there all all kinds of performance problems. I could go on and on, there was an exhaust leak and 2 other tows along the line. This has been by far the worst consumer experience of my life.
My Volvo had to be repaired. No one else would touch my car. Thanks guys for the repairs and be fair on the prices.
Always took care of my husband and I! Professional, fast, and affordable!
I went to him because we have the same name. Now I go to him because he does great work.
Awesome mechanic and personality down to earth and knows his stuff
Paid $153 for them to replace 2 sensors. 7 hours later when i picked my car Im told both sensors were not put in because it was optional. Had a really bad experience, and wouldnt recommend them to anyone.
Got me in last minute to fix my brakes
Highly recommend as a traveler!
Knowledgeable and very dependable mechanic.
Very down to earth and honest, a
Kind & Friendly!!!
