If youre looking for a short but scenic boat ride this is it! Smaller boat, no facilities on the boat. Has upper deck and forward bow lower deck seating available, as well as shaded seating available on lower deck.

Captain Steavie and his crew were absolutely, polite and informative! We had such a relaxing sail this morning. Saw seals, birds, fishing boats, lighthouses and bunch of amazing islands! We learned that Maine has very strict Fishing Rules to preserve the population of its most popular catch, Lobsters! Kudos to Maine!!!

Bring a jacket and a hat even if it’s nice and sunny and warm, it will get cold when the boat is on the water and moving. So much fun but not fun if you are cold. Staff are friendly!

Very nice cruise. Enjoyable with great views. If retired military, regardless what the people on the phone or the ticket office, or other sales places, - only the retired member gets the discount, not the spouse. The person who informed me of this had no desire to teach or instruct the other staff.

Very rude captain! We we’re 6 of us on the boat. All happy and excited just laughing while talking. Then suddenly the captain came to us, basically telling us to “keep quiet or he will disembarked us and he means it”! Saying it right in front of other people. We didn’t even know he was talking. All he could do is tell us nicely to lower or voice down or be silent. He don’t have to threaten us. Kind of ruins the mood and spirit.

My wife and I and 4 friends just completed a sunset cruise on the Margaret Todd. I have never been so insulted and embarrassed as I was by the captain of this boat. Prior to departing, the 6 of us were having a normal happy conversation. Apparently, the captain was about to give his safety briefing and was very disturbed by 6 of his paying customers enjoying themselves.He walked over to us and asked if we had ever heard the safety briefing previously to which we answered no. He then sternly scolded us that we need to be quiet and that if we don’t then we will be forced to disembark! Not only were we unaware of his desire to start his safety briefing, but also shocked by his rude unprofessional demeanor. If he simply asked if he could have our attention we would have gladly complied without the need for his threats.All 6 of us are professionals and we were all horribly embarrassed by this rude unhappy man. This was done in front of other passengers. We stayed for the cruise but could not enjoy it at all after this experience. I would highly recommend avoiding this company who would hire such a horrible employee.

Nice looking ship

A grand day out. Enjoyed perfect weather on a round trip from Winter Harbor to Bar Harbor. Saw a seal and some dolphins for no extra charge. Enjoyed listening to the crew discuss life in this part of the country.

This ferry is really fun and not that expensive. The ride takes about 45 minutes each way. Heres a tip though: up to four people can sit on the bow... And its awesome!

Extremely happy with the ferry service. The captain and first mate were very friendly and made the trip over memorable. They are chock full of interesting info about the area.
