What a fantastic way to spend a vacation afternoon! Liz was professional, helpful, and easy to learn from. She helped us each create a mosaic that fit our interests and our varied strengths. I took my 12 & 15 year olds, and we all loved it! Would highly recommend you add Artwaves to your vacation plans if you are visiting Mount Desert island.

I have taken dance classes, figure drawing, painting, learned encaustic and currently am one of the stained glass mosaic, monoprinting and felting facilitators. The studios are spacious, well supplied and the instructors are very helpful and knowledgeable. A Great community with friendly people. I have found my tribe - and it is close to everything on MDI!

I am so honored to be a part of the amazing Art Waves community as a dance and movement instructor! I was naturally drawn to the place where my love of dance started (I started taking ballet classes in 1994 at three years old with the previous owner, Joanne). The space is beautiful, spacious, and has great energy! Liz Cutler and Paul Weathersby stepped in and have put their heart and soul into the program, the grounds and the studios. All of the teachers are wonderful and there is truly something for everyone.

Beautiful and open studio space, friendly staff, and a whirlwind of energy and creativity. There is also available tools to use at your leisure during open studio times!
