The preparer was excellent but the price is very steep.You’ll be looking at around $500 for a regular 1040 with just one W2. Tough with the economy the way it is.The original prepared told me that I qualified to have them completed for $50. So I was expecting that when I went in to sign! Very disappointed I was given wrong information.The “services” that were included that apparently make the price that high are ones I would rather not even pay for.Lesson learned for me. I wish i had known that price before going in.

The worst tax service I have ever used, never again will I use them!

My husband and I have been going to JH for the last 4-5 years, and we are always happy with our returns. This year may have been a little challenging due to Covid-19, but the office was clean, and they took the time to clean the space in between appointments. The representative made sure that we understood, and and would ask if we had any questions. Not disappointed, we will see JH next year!

I left a review yesterday. It was good but then I find out that the account numbers was not put in correctly and my wife’s name was not correct. So if I hadn’t looked and called I may not have received my refund. In your profession this should not happen not happy with this

I will never use them again they dont honor the worry free guarantee that you pay for and I had a problem with this year taxes and Im the one doing all the work to get my tax return when it was there mess up that caused me to have to fight with the IRS they dont even have a fax machine to fax paperwork to the irs so Im not happy and will be turning them over to maine attorney General.

REGARDING MARYANN: Went in today to get our taxes done, as my wife and I finally tied the knot last year, and I was unsure on what to do for filing. We had the pleasure of working with Maryann, and she went above and beyond for us. Not only did she color, and play with our son, she was VERY thorough making sure we would get as much back as legally possible. We ended up having to leave about halfway through, and she didnt make us feel rude, or make us pay a fee, she put it on hold for us, and said to get in touch with any questions if we had any. 10/10 would recommend, and if you go to the Hammond St location ask for Maryann!

Meet with Maryann today, she was amazing. She was very patient, helped me understand my taxs this year as I had to file a 1099-misc this year. My kids were also with me, she showed them the boxs, coloring, etc, they loved her. Shes amazing, so glad I got to work with her today!

Prior years were good. Service seems to be slacking now. I could have done them myself and saved 400$.

Love coming in every year and having such amazing people help with my taxes. Ill forever reccomend.
