Been a customer / client at Hanger for decades, wouldnt go anywhere else. Working on a longer review.

Superb people and service!!! My husband would not have had his new Orion3 without the help of all the office staff. They had to play phone tag with doctor’s offices until they got results. We are so grateful! They are the best!! it was worth the 200 mile trip to see Chris. Tiny has been with him since 2003!

I have been a BK amputee since 2001.Hanger Bangor has been my provider since I moved to Maine in 2005. Chad, Chris and the entire staff at this location are phenominal. I am a high functioning, athletic, type A person and tend to ask a lot of the equipment that helps make me work. Hanger has always enthusiastically met my challenges. They are quick to respond to my needs and do so professionally at all levels of service they provide. I would highly recommend them, and I have, to anyone who might ask me.

The Bangor Hangar team is top notch. I have a BKA on my right leg and have a very active lifestyle. The whole team understands, and will adapt and do their best to help you meet your goals. It has been about a year and half since my BKA and I run anywhere between 2 1/2 to 3 miles 4 days a week plus weight training without any issues.The admin staff is also at the top of their game. They understand how to deal with large insurance companies and always make the scheduling of appointments easy, even fitting me in when I am in need of an off schedule appointment.

I was so anxious at the beginning but Boe and her assistant made me feel very comfortable and confident that they would do everything possible to make this new journey a positive one for me, reassuring me that they were there to correct any sore spots and problems! Thank you Hanger clinic and all who work there!

Whenever I need anything from an adjustment, new sleeves, or have questions Chad and Chris are always very helpful. The ladies in the front office are always very nice and make sure I get an appointment when needed ASAP.

Have been taking my son here for about 5 years now and he wears AFO’s on both legs. Everyone has been very nice. Easy to work with and staff is great with my son.

Hanger always takes care of my issues, have been seeing them since shortly after they opened the Bangor Office, even during difficult times the staff finds ways to accommodate. They have the resources to solve problems.

I wear a AFO (ankle foot orthotic) on my left foot and a prosthetic leg on my right side (RBKA). I have been A patient with Hanger for about 10 years now they have always bent over backwards to fix any issues I have, and created completely new concepts based on my needs and sports I participate in like skiing and biking. And whenever I do have an issue they’re able to squeeze me in the schedule.

I went to the Hangar Clinic asking for (with a prescription from my PCP) a set of custom (HAD to have the word CUSTOM on the prescription according to the clinic) wrist splints for carpal tunnel/tendonitis of the fingers, thumb, wrist, etc, you get the idea. The first visit, they pulled a device out of a box (yep, you read that right, a CUSTOM device, out of a box) I had doubts, but figured it was part of the process. They sent me home with a flimsy splint, that didnt even survive its first two hour trip packed carefully in a suitcase. When I returned with the deformed device they didnt fix it, they told me I was beyond the six month period ( by less than a month). After going through the process of obtaining yet ANOTHER prescription from my PCP, I went back in the hopes of obtaining a more sturdy set of splints (I do after all have to be able to sleep in these things with out ruining them) I literally watched the technician order a standard splint online. I could have done that myself guys, why are you charging my insurance for that!?! SO, I cancelled my appointment and am now searching for a place that ACTUALLY makes CUSTOM splints. I got really excited when I thought there was a place so close to my home that actually would provide the service that I needed, but I was mistaken. DO NOT assume that you will receive CUSTOM equipment here, it is NOT a service they seem to actually provide. And no, Sonia, I dont want to call you, I dont have any confidence that you are in a position to actually fix this. Thanks anyways. (Addendum: Note that Sonia has obviously not read my full review......)

Hanger Clinic is the best! Every employee I encountered was friendly, understanding, and very helpful. They went out of their way to fit me into their schedule and I truly appreciate each and every employee that I encountered today!

Chris has been my clinician and man oh man he has pulled out all the stops in getting me into a set of AFOs that work for me! I am ever grateful for people like the staff here.

Got a prosthetic leg and have had sores on my stump ever since. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.
