Pbr event was awesome show, went Saturday night and dont regret it.

The Cross Insurance Center is a newer venue, very clean and nice staff. We had a great time! Our only complaint is that my husband is a larger man and he was unable to fit into the tight seating. Thankfully the friendly staff were able to relocate us to ones with more space.If you are a bigger person, I would avoid the stadium seating, especially those in the front of each section as they are even tighter than the rest of the seating in those areas.

I have been to multiple events and event types here and it has always been a good experience. This is a really well organized event center, in all fashions. There are 3 parking lots which are all just a short walk and there is a parking garage for the casino across the road that offers paid event parking. Efficient processing for entry into events and I have only ever encountered polite and friendly staff. I think the interior of the building is well designed and laid out well with plenty of bathrooms and food/concession options. The bathrooms are always clean. They offer a wide variety of events for people of all ages and interests.

Just got vaccinated! The entire process was smoothe and painless! The volunteers were extremely friendly and helpful. They did a great job of planning and executing from start to finish.... very organized and easy to get from the beginning to the end! Thank you everyone!

Great night at the PBR!

Went to see the bull riding. I thought it was alright but when they built that facility, they certainly did NOT incorporate any WOW factor into the building, lighting, or sound systems. Lasty, I couldnt wait to get out of there. They had the A/C running too much. We were FREEZING! Not just cold, but uncomfortable to the point that I wanted to leave halfway through.

Easy parking. Clean facilities. Easy to find the section youre looking for.

The cross center is an excellent facility. Is well laid out and has many potential possibilities. I was there for covid shots and that was very efficient and only took me in and out 20 minutes.

Ample parking, all lots within nice, short walk to the southwest entrance. Plenty of restrooms as well, easy to spot and find. Paul Bunyan also stands guard up front, in case youre wondering!

Very impressed with how it all moved! I did get a student who needed some guidance finding the injection sight, she was sweet, but it made me nervous and they ended up getting the paramedic for me about 7 min into my wait time. I dont have blood pressure issues, but apparently I did today. Even with this issue, im glad to have gotten my shot and everyone handled everything wonderfully.~ Second shot today and everything went great!

Their vaccine setup was efficient. Assistants help you through the entire process especially if you required mobility assistance. I was very impressed.

Cross Insurance Center team members did a fantastic job with the COVID vaccination process. Was very well organized and fast. Even though I booked at appointment online I still had to wait in a line to get in, however the line moved fast and everyone was friendly and efficient. Thank you Cross Center team and nurses.

My daughter & son received their 1st Covid vaccines at the Cross Insurance Center. Northern Light is very organized with how theyre processing this volume of people on a 15 minute basis. Very impressed!

Got my covid Pfizer shots here. They have a great setup. Very easy to get the shots done. Amazing the system they have.

Great organization of the flow through. The entire vaccination process took 30 minutes. All personnel were helpful and kind. Even the clients were cheerful.

Went to get my first Covid vaccination. It was fast and very organized. Everyone was pleasant.

PBR rodeo was a good show but event staff are too chatty with people and make the entering very slow and parking staff are very ignorant and disorganized and most dont even know parking prices if I was a event organization I wouldnt hold events using their staff

I was there for the vaccination clinic so didnt see the full arena. The facilities are very nice. Everything looks new and clean.

What a disappointed this center has become. Id been coming here for years only to find that the lobby entrance had been taken over by TSA. If you feel comfortable walking through metal detectors with your hands up like a hostage, you will love this place. If you enjoy people pawing through your stuff, dont hesitate to come running over. If freedom is not your thing, youll be glad that you wont see any sign of it! Maine, the way life used to be!☹️

I just called to ask about PBR tickets and the guys hung up on me. So I called back and was polite and refreshed my question and he said Lady this is a ticket broker and you have the wrong number. I double checked and it wasnt the wrong number and the site brought me to this rating. How rude!

Was so looking forward to the Pendletin Whiskey PBR tour. Sadly disappointed!! Not by the show but the price,the venue, and the utter lack of organization! Event began at 7pm. We didnt even get into the building until 7:40! Long line to even get in and park for $20!! Then had to wait in line outside! Really pathetic for the price.

Its always a great time. The seats are comfortable, set up for easy viewing pleasure, lots of food options and the sound system is crystal clear. This new Bangor arena is the best in the great state of Maine!

The show was wonderful. Actors did a great job of drawing you in to the show and were very professional. Not sure if Toto was drugged or not. Not very reactive and no tail wagging. Seemed to be falling asleep. The low stars rating is because of the venue itself. Seats (not location) were horrible. Most of the people around us bailed for the riser seats to get off the floor seating for which you pay more. The chair sit is so short it ends way up on the back of your legs. And you sit so low you cant see the bottom of the actors so no ruby shoes. Then there was a staff person watching from the side between riser sections with his walkie talkie going on and off. VERY distracting. So all in all I will not go back to see another show of this type here...rather go to the Collins Center. We have gone to the Cross for shows like James Taylor and that was fine from the floor, the chairs were different.

Our company hosted an event at the Cross Insurance center over the past weekend. We hold events in multiple convention centers every single week.The staff at the facility was outstanding! They addressed every need for our event. They helped solve a small problem we had with and outside company before it turned in to a big problem. This is one of the best run venues we have ever used

Easy to find. Can accommodate different functions. Seats are kinda tight. Lotz of hotels in walking distance. Casino across street.

This is not what Bangor Maine expected. The attendants are rude. I am in full agreement with all the reviews on this site. The building is beautiful but lacks character. You have know idea which entrance to go into. Why not post which entrance on the ticket website? I have also been told to go back out and around the building. I hope those who voted for this building are enjoying paying the extra expense. I think we lost a big piece of our character when we torn down the old to bring in the new. But money talks that is why it is no longer called the Bangor Auditorium.

Absolutely horrible parking and event staff. This venue has insufficient parking for large events. Floor seats which are more expensive had less space than the seats that were half the price. Seats were so close that if someone overweight sat next to you, they were on your seat. Comic was great but cross insurance center made it unenjoyable so they could make a few more bucks by packing people in like sardines. First and last time for me.

Recently purchased a ticket for an event. Checked out website to get info. on the venue. Read that will call tickets would be available at southwest entrance 2 hours before event. Parked up by race track. Walked to southwest entrance ticket window. Closed. Followed signs all the way to rotunda entrance which is on complete opposite end of building. Upon entrance I was told that my Leatherman wasnt allowed. Explained that I saw no mention on website that a multi- tool wasnt allowed in facility. I assured them that I would not be using my Leatherman. They gave me grace and let me pass. The event took place in the ballroom. Floor seating with raised stage. I purposely chose an aisle seat for better viewing. Event started. Didnt take long to realize that viewing angle wouldnt let me see stage floor action. Retreated to the wall and stood for the rest of the event. Will not be returning for event with same venue.

I have been to the Cross Insurance Center many times and its great every time! No matter what the weather is outside it is always nice inside the cross center. The seats are very comfortable. The concession stand is a little pricey...Ive learned to pre-game if Im going to an event that is appropriate to drink at. I saw Ron White recently, Ringo Starr and the All Starr Band, Disney Live (last year I believe), we saw the Circus there one year. Its a comfortable venue and it brings a lot of great shows/events to Bangor. Its also a great alternative to the waterfront! People at the cross center, from my experiences there, have been friendly. I dont think anyone plans to go there and get plastered. Its a nice crowd.

Concert would have been better if hadnt wore someones beer 3 separate times, and the seats werent so crammed in there

I attended a high school tournament game tonight. The parking was horrible. I parked by Bangor Daily. While walking around the building, looking for an open door, I came to the south east ENTRANCE. When I stepped in an elder man said hold it right there, mister!. Confused I said what?. He said I asked you to leave once. I said impossible, I just drove from Skowhegan and have been walking a half mile trying to get in. He interrogated me for 5 minutes then said go around. He then asked where I was from, Hermon, I replied. He then told me I should know my way around then but since this is a new building it was my first time.My daughter played in the band and when trying to find us at a particular exit, she asked an elderly man in a Cross coat for directions and he reluctantly helped. She got turned around and asked the same gentleman again, he said I already told you!I wonder if the Cross family knows they have such rude people wearing their family name and treating paying customers this way? We felt teased, bullied and harassed by these men. We will not be back nor would I recommend this site for anyone looking for fun. The staff ruined our first time. Shame on you! Stay home and be retired if you cant be polite!

Great time watching Professional Bull Riders Competition.

Most of the staff was very rude. Very limited food choices which were also highly over priced. Also the handicap ramps were not cleared of ice making it difficult to maneuver my mothers wheelchair.

Clean venue, convenient parking across street, could use maps posted in entrance and more concessions open during conventions

As a full time law enforcement officer with ID I wasnt even allowed to have a pocket knife on me I will never attend another event there as long as this is in effect

Tight ship

I have been to three sporting events at the facility: UMaine mens basketball game, Eastern Maine Regional Cheering Competition, and a quarter final Eastern Maine basketball game. The ticket entrance is inconvenient and inefficient. Perhaps being able to pre-purchase tickets for ALL events and being provided a seperate entrance for those ticket holders would make it a smoother experience? This facility is probably near perfect for the big ticket entertainment events but I give it major thumbs down as a facility for the beloved MPA high school basketball tournament competitions. It is not a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, at all. It is full of employees groomed to expect that people in line with a sippy cup for their toddler are actually using the cup to ferry alcohol into the facility. I know another instance where a worker berated a mother with an infant for crossing her leg such that her toe rested against the back of the chair in front of her so that the infant would be in a position that is conducive to feeding under such cramped quarters. I am sad that something that could be so nice is being made so unpleasant because thats the way it is everywhere else. This is Bangor, Maine. Can we not condition our population to become the heathens the facility is apparently expecting? Self-fulfilling prophecy can be an unwanted thing.
