I’m giving them 3 stars and not 1 because I have calmed down after my experience I had. Although they do a fantastic job and are reasonably priced, I’m very disappointed in the way my day went with them. I dropped my car off at 11:30am. I know this is a process and it’s not a quick 15 minute job (good things aren’t done quickly) but when I was told there was 3 cars in front of me and they would be done by 2-2:30 it sounds right. Fast forward to 2:15 and the car hasn’t even been put in the garage yet. They also left my engine running once they finally started my car and since my car is a 2021 it alerted me on my phone that my engine was turned off by my car itself because it was idling for 30 minutes. They told us the car would be done at 3 and it wasnt done until a little after 4. My boyfriend was also told they stopped working on my car to take lunch. Which I understand but why couldn’t you have eaten before or after you finish a car? They’re a great shop and do a great job but I recommend getting your windows done on a day you have nothing to do since I had work at 2pm and my boyfriend had school at 4 (which he was able to make).

Mixed feelings about this place. Had one vehicle tinted here and it was done well, however, they dont do appointments and it can be a huge time sink. Tried to go here on a Saturday at open and there were a ton of cars waiting and 10 minutes after their open time, they still hasnt opened. I ended up going to another place nearby to have my work done.

I had to get tint removed from my back window. They managed to remove it WITHOUT damaging my rear defroster wires!!! One step better the Price was decent!The Staff was knowledgeable too. The techs on deck taught me that Some car manufactures pre tint the Windows from the Factory. So you must be aware of the factory tint percentage when selecting their products.Too many times customers have ignore advice on the legal limits forgetting to do the math of the composite visiabity with factory and after market tint combined. So very well informed techs

Little shady business practices to get more money out of you. They rather remove your tint then you remove it... claiming youll make their job harder and they have to charge you more. Complete bs. I took a lot of my cars to them but when they charged me $70 for ONE window.... yes ONE WINDOW like come on. They are in parkville so I guess they want to squeeze all the money out of people since its a decent area.

Really love the level of service you get from these guys. Very friendly. Between myself and my family, weve had 10+ cars done here and each time weve had awesome service.

This was an overall poor experience. The tint shop rushed us and never took the time to discuss exactly what we wanted tinted and the percent tint involved. They also are very overpriced. I should never have spent over $200 dollars for a window tint job. I later found other places that do quality work for $100 and found out that $200 is way too much!I am not a happy customer and have warned those I know to not use this tint shop.

Poor customer service. the workers act cocky and the next day, the back window bubbled. they tried to tell me that since I didnt get the warranty, there is nothing they can do. REALLY! In less than 24hrs the tint is bubbling and you tell us there is nothing thst you can do. Its unfortunate that this bad experience is going to cost your reputation. Really poor service for no reason

My boyfriend went in to have his windows tinted and asked for 35% (this is state legal). He went to have his car Maryland state insepected and they told him the tint was too dark since it was 27%. He called back to Kustom Tint about it and they told him that the manufacturer tint was not actually 35% and that if he wanted state legal, he should have said that. They wanted to charge him to have it removed and replaced with their “state legal” tint which I believe was 40%. Wouldn’t you consider this false adveritising???? Not only did he spend $140 to have it put on, but now you want to charge him another $200 to fix it??? No thanks.

UPDATE 06/11/2016:I will never go there again, my friend went there to get a tint job and they told him there was a $9 credit card fee, and when he asked when did this start, they couldnt tell him nothing. The job was for $60 plus tax which should have made it $63.60, but they charged him $69. When he questioned it the employee got very nasty and only gave him $3 back which still means they got away with $3 over what it should have cost. I dont know if it was because he was white or not, and I was on the phone with him when this happened, so I heard everything. They are running a scam as far as Im concerned, and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone at this point. What was a good place to deal with has turned into scammers, and untrustworthy business. Stay away!
