Very professional and excellent customer service!This is the first time I’ve ever used the services of a cobbler and I am very happy with the results.My brand new leather walking shoes needed to be stretched to widen. I am thrilled that I can now wiggle my toes when I wear it!

I was very excited to get my four pairs of shoes back. Over the weekend I wore a pair of my shoes and after dinner I got up and the sole detached from heel in the same exact spot again. Embarrassing to walk the rest of the night with a floppy shoe. When I called him and left a voicemail he told me that he’s sorry that my shoe “came apart“. Not apologizing for the fact that you did not correctly fix my shoe. So now I have to go out of my way to contact YOU when you re-open after vacation and also to find a way to get the shoes to you and then pick them up again. Very inconvenient for me and also not very happy with the quality of repair. I do not like when companies do not own up to the fact that they did a poor service.

The craftsmanship is very good. Customer service is also good. Repair prices are on the high end of moderate.

Although the shop had many repairs to do, he took the time out to work on my two pair of shoes while I waited and trust me, I really needed though shoes repaired for an important event. One of the best things about living in this part of the city is that you have everything. I was walking to work today when my left shoe’s sole started to feel like it was about to come off and the right one looked like it was about to follow suit. Took it to Clarke’s nearby and they did a quick repair.

They are really fast, I brought a pair of black dress shows with soles that needed replacing. I was told to come back the next day (about 12 hours), and when I got there, it was done. I’m impressed.

I had an old leather Rawlings glove that had the leather strap breaking on it. I took it in to Jim and he was able to fix it no problem. This glove had been working for 10 years and now Im looking forward to getting another 10 more thanks to Clarkes!
