They want more information than your doctor ! They want your bank account information.... are you kidding ? For a gym how simply is it to check the membership card of people who come in and out of the gym ? They have people at the door trying sell you memberships so why not check to make sure people have paid their membership ? No gym is getting my bank account information. When I walked in a guy stopped me and said can I help you he could have easily used that time to see if other members are up to date. Oh and they are paperless but not when it comes to money 🤑💰 . Ok maybe I am over reacting but the gym really ?

This YOUFIT is amazing! Beautiful and clean facility with all the right equipments for your workout needs. The staff has always been courteous and helpful. I feel bad every time I walk in because it feels like I should be paying double what I’m currently paying!

I went to this gym (Loch Raven) happily for about a year without any issues. However, when the COVID pandemic started and the gym closed, I realized only after the fact that had been charged for the 4 months the facilities were shut down. I reached out to a friend who was also a member here, and came to realize that I was one of many members charged without being notified. When I called to ask why I was charged without notice, I was given no explanation. Rather, I was informed that I could only use the paid fees for future months, or a personal trainer, but that I could not be refunded. Unfortunately I was moving out of the area, so this was not an option for me. I was told that if I had any hopes of being refunded, I needed to speak with a manager. When I visited to speak with a manager, I was told I needed to speak with a different manager. At this point I cut my losses and cancelled membership. This is a fine gym for a low membership fee, but be aware that the business is not run with integrity and values money more than your membership.

Watch out going there!!!! Signing up they forget to mention the _60 fee they charge for the year and the $60 they charge to cancel the membership. I had to pay $120 my 2nd month to cancel my membership!!!!! Because I waited until the 56th day of the 60 day no fee cancelation. But they charged me $60 to cancel and $60 for the yearly membership that I had for less than 2 months.CHEATS AND LIARS WORKING THERE!! STAY AWAY

Should be zero stars. So, Im one of those people who practically never leaves a review for anything, good or bad. However, the situation Ive experienced with Youfit warrants a review. Im leaving this review with the goal of deterring anyone whos considering opening a membership with Youfit. DO NOT DO IT! This company lacks integrity. I moved away from the Youfit location in Baltimore located in the Loch Raven shopping center at the end of August 2020. When I left, I had been charged for 3 months of my membership that should be refunded due to COVID. I cancelled my membership and was charged a fee that I shouldnt have been charged because I cancelled before the 10 day cutoff for the month. Nonetheless, I didnt sweat it too much and left awaiting my refund for May, June, and July. Its now October and I (along with thousands of other former customers per the BBB) have yet to receive a refund. Ive called the former Youfit location where I had my membership and have gotten the typical run around about managers not being available, theyll call me back the same day after speaking with management then no call. And the third time I called in September after being told it would take 60 days to process a refund, I was told that my refund was never processed because the paperwork was filled out incorrectly. So, they filled the correct paperwork out for the cancellation fee I paid (that I shouldnt have), but not for my refund...very interesting. Anyways, I try to be a laid back person and let certain things go. But, in this particular situation I thought itd be good to save people some headache and money. Just choose a different gym.

I loved coming until the pandemic hit and they decided to be unprofessional and unethical. They do not reply to emails and I have yet to get a refund. I lost my personal training sessions (which I paid for) in the process of being forced to cancel because they continued to take money out of my account when it was suppose to be paused due to the pandemic. Hate the company!

I went in IN PERSON TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT YOUFit staff did not give my refund. I PAID $10 DOLLARS IN PERSON To CLose My account. I SENT SEVERAL EMAILS An have been IGnOred UNAUThorized charges an YOUFIt will not honor YOUR REFUND. DO NOT BELIEVE The RESPONSE....Unauthorized charges to my account, and denied to give me a refund after I requested one in March 2020 and in August & September 2020 to close my account. Called several time, sent emails and no response. I refuse to patronize business in a black community that treat their customers disrespectful. I requested a freeze and to close my account so they would not keep charging my account. I went to in the gym several times and was told I had to speak to a manager for a refund. Finally, spoke to a manager, and they were just as rude as the staff. Charged my account $143 five months later after I requested to closed the account in March 2020, while they were closed. The regional manager Ian Burkely refused to Process my refund—disrespectful and rude staff, including the regional manager Ian. I will never use this gym again. I had to close my Bank account to stop the charges.

I requested a refund and a cancelation after realizing that I was charged when gyms were shut down.My account has never been used and gyms were shut down shortly after I obtained it. They charged my card on March 30, when the State of Maryland was on a stay at home order and gyms were closed. I requested a cancelation and a refund and never received either. Now I was recently charged a $50 maintenance fee and another monthly membership fee of $24.99. It is highly unacceptable to charge people when they requested cancelation months ago.After filing with the BBB I received 1/4 of my money back. Im still out $75 and I have NEVER used this gym a day in my life.DO NOT SIGN UP HERE!

Im pleased with my membership at Youfit. Its conveniently located, classes are frequent and fun, love the fact that there is a sauna and it is always clean. The customer service is okay. Some employees are more pleasant than others, but besides that I have no complaints!

Youfit was ok before the lockdown...I was charged monthly when the gym was closed due to Carona Virus. I was never informed when they opened back up and I wasn’t given the option to down grade because there are no more classes and I was also charged a fee to cancel my membership.Overall I am disappointed with them and would not recommend them to anyone

I loveeee the Loch Raven location! Its bright and clean and the daycare option is great and convenient! The staff there are amazing and very polite and friendly and helpful! The Randallstown location is okay but its dark, outdated and small compared to the Loch Raven location. And no daycare makes it hard for me to workout at that location.

Clean and big. Lots of options for equipment and classes. They also offer childcare for $10 a month, per child. People at the front desk, never seem to have it together, but once youre inside, its great. I wish they offered a few larger lockers. But the sauna is awesome for pre or post workout.

Nice, clean, brand new. Safer parking than some other close by gyms. I always felt like half my work our at planet fitness was trying to not get hit by a car in the parking lot. Just opened this week. For the cost, it seems like a great medium between PF & YMCA. Interactive equipment. Child care. And cardio theater!

Perfect location...easy to get to. Only 15 mins or less from my house. Beats driving 25 to 30 minutes to get to LA Fitness. As for fees....I was paying more for LA Fitness.The only con is the locker space. It will definitely force you to downsize what you bring to your workout.Otherwise.....perfect!!! Would definitely recommend to friends!

Clean facility and decent equipment. However, very disappointed because it has been 4 months and the sauna in the womens locker room still has not been fixed, and they still do not have an estimated date on when it will be fixed. Also, memberships can only be frozen if you have a medical issue with a doctors note.

I like the corner area they have! Allows for a lot of different HIIT workouts and flexibility with workouts! The trainers are watching over you like a hawk there though because it is a little small

I just joined this club because of the convenient location and the price. I used to workout everyday, but got out if the habit and wanted to join a club that had convenient hours and was on my route home from work. So far, that old saying is proving true - you get what you pay for. I have never been in a club where people stare at you. Uncomfortable. The music in the Wednesday cycle class is so loud my ears were hurting. You would think a fitness club would know about high decibel hearing damage. Oh, and the WiFi didnt work so I couldnt listen to my workout music on my first day there. Im. Going to hang in there and do my own thing because you cant beat the $10 a month fee. This place seems clean and the staff is generally helpful.

I cancel my membership January of this year.. then they turn around and took the annual fee out. I call they said it take 30 day to refund my money back to my account.. its been almost 4 months now still no refund. Everytime I call to speak to a manager they said give it one more week. I called to cancel my membership after my 7 day trial and the employee on the phone said I had to mail in a request. I mailed in a request and was still getting billed. I then went in and the girl said they nevr got it and that I would uave to pay $10 to cancel and of course the manager wasnt there. Heedless to say this place is a joke compared to Planet Fitness and is extremely poor when it comes to customer service. Ive reported them to the MD Attorney general and am looking at taking legal action if they keep trying to bill me. Dk yourself a favor and join another gym instead.

Nice club but lots of rules. Silly rules. I was approached and told I could not have my gym bag on the gym floor. The bag was the size of a crown royal bag and only held keys, a small towel, and my phone. Just ridiculous. Realized this place isnt for me.

We were promised an experience that has absolutely not come to fruition at this gym. I was a member at the Pratt street Youfit before it closed and was promised the Loch Raven gym would be much better, fancier than the Pratt location. I would trade the bells and whistles any day and go back to Pratt if it were still open.Closing off a huge section of the gym during peak time in effort to make more money? Unacceptable. Telling us the movie area is open to all customers, then back tracking and making it a paid feature? Rude. Leaving the gym in general disarray, weights all over the place, when two or three people are working? Come on.I never experienced any of these things at the Pratt street location. Shame on you Youfit for promising me something you had no intention of delivering on.

I joined the gym thinking this would be a great new start I got a membership for my family shortly after I took Ill but continued to pay dues not a problem 60days later i was hit with 4 renewal fees (40-50$ a piece) charges and regular dues even for the daycare I was shown a clause in the contract however no reminder, no conversation, no email I will never recommend that others join this gym. Small gym Big fees lesson learned

When I was going to this gym, I had a very positive experience as the facility is quite clean and for convenience they have a childcare center, so there was absolutely no excuse to not workout.However, when circumstances arise and you are trying to cancel your membership account, they make it terribly difficult for you. At the time of cancellation they do the bare minimum to assist you with ending your membership.Like every gym I understand that they require you to be physically present, but they know that it is harder for most individuals when their situation change for the worst and they can no longer go to the gym.The gym sees it as a loop hole to make extra money from inactive subscriptions (which simply means you are unable to go to the gym, however, you are still paying for the service), they make a lot of money from this and they will protect this with all their might. That is the reason why they are not flexible and the banks are on their side as the banks do not classify this activity as fraudulent.I recently went in to cancel my membership with YouFit and I paid the $10 cancellation fee and did so within the 10 day period before the billing date, as required. After canceling my account I was still charged on the billing date.Along with my account I had a child care membership associated with it. When I went in to cancel my account I was under the impression that the childcare membership was cancelled as well. To my suprise, the gym attempted to charge my debit card for childcare membership. I called and asked why my card was being charged for the childcare membership after it was cancelled. Then YouFit advised me that it was not cancelled, as a second step was required. At the time of cancellation no one disclosed to me that a seperate step was required to the end the childcare membership.I was told to then write and sign a letter stating that I need the childcare membership to be cancelled and send it to management. Management then told me that in order to cancel the membership I owed them extra money, which I did not, as I was not supposed to be charged for the current month, as their staff did NOT do a good job at cancelling my account properly.In addition the store manger, threw a curve ball at me and said hey by the way 30 days notice is required to cancel the childcare membership before the billing period. That does not make sense as it requires 10 days notice and a $10 cancellation fee for adult membership. This is clearly a SCAM!!!!I will never enroll in this gym again, nor do I recommend it, unless you want a headache from trying to cancel your membership and still be charged after cancellation.

The clubs are fine, what you would expect for $10.00 a month; however, their cancellation process is horrible. I had to go in to cancel my membership and the man who cancelled it didnt process it correctly so they wanted me to come back to re-sign the paperwork, which isnt feasible with my current job (which is why I cancelled). They then charged me for the next month after they said they cancelled my membership, and after I paid the cancellation fee. I have been trying to get a refund since October of last year. Would not recommend this gym to anyone after all of this.Update: After contacting their customer service team, I received the wrong reimbursement amount. Do not ever use this club, their customer service is absolutely terrible. I cannot believe I am still dealing with this after six months. I will never recommend this gym to anyone.

They dont enforce policy. I had an incident with a guy recording me in the gym and when I told a staff member she responded, with a giggle, well you know some of these gym guys are creeps. Ive called, emailed and even attempted to contact someone via social media and no response. After my personal training sessions are over, Ill be leaving.

The gym has all the amenities of a LA fitness at planet fitness prices. Very clean, and well worth it check it out!

Horrible customer service ! The employees never know what’s going on and always find a way to mess up the schedule. They are rude, unprofessional and lack good customer service. I have already canceled my membership. There’s no way I’ll be coming back to a place that allows their employees to be disrespectful to their guest. There are thousands of other gyms that I can chose from.

Gym is okay, customer service isnt all that great. Only picked this gym because it was the closest to my school. I cancelled my membership because i was going back home. Then two months later i see Im still get charged a monthly fee. They couldnt do anything unless i came back up there. So, i had to drive a hour back to this gym because my cancelation didnt go through. The man finally processed it and said ill receive my refund in 30 days. Its been two months and still havent seen my refund.

Cardio movie theater, child care, sauna, state of the art equipment (including a functional training area), squat racks (yes ACTUAL squat racks), group exercise classes, and the list goes on. Worst customer service ever ! I was charged a monthly fee and never workout a day at Youfit. The day i came to the facility to check it out a rep walked me thru the gym and everything but manage to take my bank info and advised me that i needed to bring my bank card and ID with me of i wanted to join and also told me that everything would void if i dont come within 48 hours, so to be on the safe side i came back the next day and the front desk could nott find my name and he told me anyway if the previous agent told you everything would void then she is right so i left and next thing you know i was charged smh now it is a hassle to get my money back. The girl at the front desk Mara always tells me the the manager isnt there everytime i call and i have been calling for the past ten days straight smh.
