In response to our customer who felt that Cheers was attempting to force her into incurring a Delivery fee rather than picking up the items herself. Cheers has a responsibility to our clients as well as the general public to ensure the safety of all. Cheers takes this responsibility very seriously which is demonstrated by our requiring our customers to pick up rental items with an enclosed vehicle so that items will not fall out of an open vehicle onto a public roadway thereby causing an accident. To those that feel that our questions pertaining to vehicle requirements are offensive, we apologize and offer you our Delivery service for your convenience. If customer pick up is the only acceptable option for our customer, Cheers will be glad to refer them elsewhere if safety is not as important to them as it is to us.

I called to get a very simple quote for chairs for my wedding. I have never been spoken to so rudely in my life. She called my idea silly and ridiculous and told me that her company was immeaditely not for her, and that she didnt think any company would be able to make my request, even though I am more then willing to pay fees and charges. Ive worked in customer service for seven years and know that they need to learn how to speak to customers.

I happened to see the sign for the party rental place as I drove by & turned in to get more info for an upcoming event. Its not the easiest to identify as you pull in & once I figured out which buisness they were I was informed that they do not accept rental requests at the location because it was warehouse.I was directed to the website for their phone number & called to obtain pricing for an 8ft table & several chairs. I spoke with Ira who provided the info I requested, but when I asked if I could pick up the items myself, he became patronizing. He asked several questions about my vehicle & insisted that it was too small although I told him several times that I had previously fit the same length table & the amount of chairs in my mid-sized SUV. He then insisted that I would be charged for the items if I opted to use my vehicle & the items didnt fit. It was almost like he was trying to intimidate me into using their delivery service. I should have ended my relationship with the business then given Iras subpar customer service, but moved forward because they were closest to my home.When I arrived to pick up the items & Ira realized who I was he continued with his snide remarks about my miracle vehicle. When all the items fit as I knew & said they would, he snidely conceded that I knew more about my SUV than he did.The items held up well for the event & the price was decent. I would have rented from them again had it not been for the poor customer service. Perhaps if Ira focused on the party rental business rather than the car business I would be more inclined to utilize this service again. Proper customer service is important in business & Ira could use some training in that department.
