Sign states appointment required for finger printing but I called multiple times but was unable to make a appointment over phone.I stopped by in person and got a bit lost due to Google maps showing wrong location. I placed a request to Google to fix.When entering I spoke to a polite police officer who got me access to the finger print area. The rest went smoothly even without an appointment.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced!! If I could give 0/5 stars I would. I had my fingerprint card sitting at the P.O Box for DAYS and had to beg for someone to pick them up before they were returned back to me. The staff was rude and very ghetto over the phone. I wish I could bypass them but this was the only option.

Once you find the building everything is good. The name is not on the door, but look for the green bench. Its right outside of the entrance.
Ive gone here a handful of times through the years with no issues. The wait used to be hours long, but with the appointment scheduling (due to covid) the wait hasnt been long.What has stayed consistent is that the receptionist and technicians are still trash. With the single exception of the secuirity guard outside, youd think that you walked into their living room and disrupted their day instead of them actually being at work. Listen, I dont want to deal with you either, but here we are...My last visit, the fingerprint tech was annoyed that I was pressing down and trying to help her. I tried twice to explain to her that I have nerve issues but she either didnt care or didnt understand.Ive not met a single person who doesnt hate having to come here - apparently the staff feels the same way. And it shows.

I have been waiting on my fingerprint results for two weeks. I called the number for CJIS as I was told by my police department if the results did not arrive in five days from my appointment. Took several tries throughout the day to get through, if they are too busy the system just disconnects your call. After waiting on hold for about twenty minutes, I gave the person on the line my tracking number. She said the report had been mailed the day after my appointment. I said I hadn’t received it yet, and asked what my options were. She replied that she didn’t know, it had been sent, and to contact the post office. I asked for tracking information for the report and she said there was none. I explained that I live two hours from Baltimore and that the report should have arrived by now, and she kept telling me they had sent it so she didn’t know.It would be great if CJIS could train their employees who answer the phone on how to properly handle issues that may arise as a result of their service. I paid for a service that I still haven’t received and was basically told that they can’t help me whatsoever.
It took a month to get the background check. And it was inadequate and incomplete with a remedy to fix the inadequate record.

Today I had to visit this agency. The wait time set up is fair, efficient and reasonable. The man at the desk ( I didnt get his name ) was very professional, friendly, helpful and explained everything in an easygoing comprehendible way. The lady that saw me, Marie, she was also very professional and polite. Everything went quicker and better than I anticipated. I had a good experience here today.
CON:Operator was anxiuos or mad became irritated when my fingerpeints failed only a few of us have failed prints and using hand sanitizers is not recommended but she insisted. Of course mine was rejected.PROS:the wait was short and costAffordable

I Work for a background agency and we submit backgrounds to cjis. A few weeks ago they had a technical issue and Usually companies will contact near by agencies that they work with and let them know. Cjis didnt. Even as far as telling customers that we didnt submit the information. So now we have customers angry with our service when the mistake was on their end.
Everyone was nice and courteous I waited about 20 minutes to be fingerprinted. I had an easy going experience. It was $50 for the background check and fingerprints for employment.
I was here to attend an interview for my job. Our HQ is on the 3rd floor but I have been in the fingerprint area for training also. It is nice to see they have increased security for Staff after several years. It is much more secure now which is good with the individuals we work with.

Pros: there was nobody there, so no one was in line and there wasn’t much of a wait time.Cons: The front desk staff was largely disinterested and dismissive. The woman who did the fingerprinting yanks your hand around, Provides no instructions, gets very irritated when you can’t follow/read her mind and interpret her non-existent instructions. I get it, these are state workers with no incentive to give a care, But that doesn’t keep me from wishing I had had that half an hour of my life back.
CJIS was on a list provided by my new employer for fingerprinting. Of all the locations CJIS provided the best business hours and location. Looking at the map it seems tricky to get to but it isnt. It is located at Reisterstown Rd Plaza but it is simpler to enter from the rear of the building closer to the Baltimore City Community College entrance. I am glad I chose this location because my employer instructions were a little vague and the desk staff here was very helpful in assisting me with clarification. Somehow they fit plenty of chairs into a small lobby which is nice. I would not bring children although it appears they are allowed. My wait time was short and their fingerprinting tech was very pleasant and professional. I would recommend this place to others. I suggest getting as much specific information as possible on the service you require before arriving in order to better help CJISs staff help you get out of there sooner.

Ms. Livingston (fingerprint technician) decided to have an entire conversation with her Co worker while she did her job. I would have appreciated more professionalism but Ive learned that some women cant fake it. If they dont want to be at work then that is that.They also take there sweet time getting customers out because she had my receipt and I finally stood up so she might return it to me. Mrs. Livingston please remember there are at least 100 people who want your job. So work like it . I also wish you would have allowed me to roll my own fingers in

Disappointed at how rude and unprofessional they were, especially since I was calling for business matters and my company uses them quite frequently. I will avoid using them at all costs going further, even if that means creating more work for myself. Itll be worth it to never have to get HUNG UP on again!

Baltimore MD I paid $50 for a electronic fingerprinting for the state and federal background certified nursing assistant.May 10th 2018. I got the results in less then a week. I am not a criminal.

Well if your looking for a place to kill a few hours in boredom while sitting in an uncomfortable chair then look no further. While getting my fingerprints took literally 3 minutes, the hours of waiting were less then satisfying.

I went there and the doors were locked. It was a Thursday when I went and it was around 10 AM so I am confused why ALL the lights were on and not employees were there.
