I released a song through Distrophonix about 9 years ago. On youtube they claimed copyright on the song and took my adsense revenue. I have not been able to dispute the copyright claim.The track is still up on amazon and itunes, but I have never seen a penny from Distrophonix.Avoid this scam company

The customer service at Distrophonix is great. They responded to my email inquiries promptly, the song they mastered for me sounds amazing and they got my song back to me promptly even with all the things going on in Baltimore right now. I sent the same song to two other online mastering services and the finished product was much cleaner with Distrophonix. I will definitely be mastering my entire project with Distrophonix as well as making use of their Download Card service. Distrophonix is definitely the best bang for your buck and then some! A+ Quality...

I have been using Distrophonix for a couple of years for mastering and download cards for my band. I have had mostly ( with the exception of one time), had a good experience. Recently they have been bought out by another company and their service has been excellent since then. Amber guided me though the CD pressing process and I was very happy with the result.

Its been awhile since my last recording, so I appreciated dealing with one person I liked throughout the process, and never felt rushed or uninformed. The CDs and download cards were beautifully reproduced. they arrived right away. Just what I need and people are loving them! Excellent service.

I have had very good results with using Distrophonix for mastering. It compares easily to mastering I have paid much more for. I even had them remaster a few older songs and they sound noticably better than the original mastering job. I highly recommend!

You may look at the price and say there is no way in the world this will work but youre DEAD WRONG!!!Distrophonix is quickly becoming one of the best in the industry. From Duplication to mastering these guys are 100% professional and deliver exceptional service all the time!!!!!

Whatever you do, dont use Distrophonix ever for mastering. They offer a 48 hour turn around for completing your song, which never happened for mine. When finally emailing them asking whats going on, it took another couple days to get a response. They acted like they had sent it already, which is clearly a lie. When I finally listened to the master the only changes I could hear was the hard compression/limiting. They do no changes at all to make it sound any better. (Example, brightening the mix, adding the shine.) I was able to master my track within an hour, which sounded 100x better than their master.I sent them my version to show them how I wanted it to sound, and never got a reply for days. I opened a dispute on paypal because of this, which then I got a response instantly. They then re-mastered my track, which took a whole 5 minutes to do. When hearing it against my version, it still sounded worse.They refused to give a refund, Im still waiting for paypal to resolve the issue.Avoid these guys, its not worth cheaping out on a mastering service. Either pay a professional, or do it yourself. I guarantee anyone can master their own song better than Distrophonix.

At first when i released music through them, i thought it was a good investment. They did as they said and placed the songs on several platforms, however they do not promote the music much as they promised. Also, If you dont do so good in sales, they will accept money for barcodes for your next releases and not ever contact you about releasing/distributing the album.. That was my personal experience with them, and that was in 2012 and i have yet to receive a refund for the barcode. Customer service is sketchy.

Be careful. Same exact thing happened to me they never returned my calls and never acknowledge receiving my song.

Absolutely horrible they didnt do anything to the mix...its sounds horrible please dont waste your money....my master sounds completely unprofessional...I wish I would have read these reviews before hand.
