Service reps are your interface with the department. My Service Advisor Cynthia Harvey is absolutely fabulous. She explains the work clearly, offering value and unexpected savings. All the work was well done and on time. I had to return for a back ordered body part. Cynthia was able to get me in and out in only half an hour for that part installation as a walk-in, no other Service Department does that. Outstanding dealer service thanks to awesome Cynthia and the professional courteous service technicians. The Koon’s Ford Baltimore Service Department receives full marks!

My rating applies to my experience with the personnel at Koons Ford specifically. They were professional, attentive, kept their word on keeping me apprised of what was happening regularly. However, Ford customer service was another issue. The part to fix my car was not available and my car was in the shop approximately one month. I have to ask why Ford would ever let a situation get to where they cannot provide parts to repair their own vehicles but that is what happened. Again. My dealings with the personnel at Koons ford to include Jay Stewart, my service writer and Tisha, the service manager were great. They did everything they could do for me.

The service was quoted to take 90 minutes, which is honestly about 30 minutes longer than anywhere else Ive been. Turns out, it actually took 3 hours and 15 minutes. I had to wait again for my car to be brought to me since they didnt have it out front. Then, once I got home, I noticed the scuffed/damaged one of my wheels. I have had good experiences visiting this dealership in the past to shop vehicles and have family that routinely goes for service, I certainly did not expect this to be my first and probably only service experience at this dealership.

Service Writer, Glenn Pierce was professional, courteous and proficient. My car hood did not open, he reviewed the problem, reached in, realigned the hood lever attachment and it opened. It took one minute. Then, the technician completed the oil change and tuneup.Glen provided timely and efficient customer service. Koons Baltimore Ford needs more service personnel like Glenn.

I have a 2021 Ford F-150. Just brought it. I have a electrical issue. Everyone is very good and professional, but my problem has not been solved after (2) visits. When my headlamps turns on, my left fog lamp comes on and it should not. Now this gives the appearance that the right fog lamp is not working. The fog lamp is on a totally different switch. Service has not fixed my problem and I am not happy about this. This is a brand new truck. Come on service let’s get this right. Signed Ocei A KARIM. 09/17/2021.

I had a really good experience here, rather than the one in Randallstown I usually go to. However Jermaine is the one who made my experience memorable. He was checking in and keeping me updated on my vehicle and he literally made the wait not feel so long . I think I waited an hour for an oil change and air filter change. Jermaine is what’s gonna keep me coming back, best advice book the earliest appointment on a weekday :)

The person that waited on me was not helpful. She was rude and she did not take the time to verify if I had a policy to cover my service. She wanted to charge me 154.00 just to find out why my hood would not open. I refused the service because it was nothing wrong with my hood. I had my son to bring my car back home and I open the hood with out an problem. I feel like who ever this representative is she could have taken the time to verify if this was something that my policy covered before applying charges for my services I did call and I verified with Matt that I do you have a policy to cover my oil change and whatever services what other services I was willing to pay for.

I went there to have the brakes & rotors on my 2007 Ford Expedition replaced only to find out that there was so many more items that needed to be replaced/fixed that it was going to cost me almost $5000 to do so. Glenn Pierce, the service tech, was very upfront about everything that needed fixing/replaced & sent me up to Robert Young, sales guy, to see if he could get me in a newer vehicle given my bad credit, divorce & a few other things. They both were very nice, kind, personable and I would recommend them and Koons Ford to my friends.

The technician that did the work did a great job. The communication with the advisor was horrible. I spent more time following up with them then they did with me. I had to keep calling when I was told car wouldn’t be done and then that day come and there’s a new date. Rental had to be extended twice. I had to do the follow ups to make sure that got communicated. Maybe same company but definitely not the same customer service as Koons Mercedes in Catonsville.

I took my car in for a diagnostic test for my engine light I was there for 5 hours informed what the problem was,and the next steps to be taken only for the service agent to quit when it was time for me to bring my car in for the actual repairs. The manager I spoke with after was not very helpful and ultimately the attitude I was given was oh well hes gone, you were miss informed and theres nothing I can do about it to make it right but schedule you another appointment for 12 days from now to start the process over.. Im not happy at all

Koons Ford sales and service are top notch. I purchased my vehicle there in June 2014 and very happy that I did. I am also happy that Koons Ford policy that customers can have a regular service representative to handle all service needs. Jay has been my service representative for some time now. He is professional, honest, and always recommends actual service needed. He is the greatest. I brought my vehicle in for a recall, oil change, and tire rotation. He highly recommended the special service package better than The Works for less money, a new air filter and front breaks that I immediately agreed to because I trust his judgment. Needless to say, I am a happy camper.

I was on my way to Virginia from New Jersey, my truck was running fine and then cutoff in Baltimore. Seeing as I was about three hours away from home, I thought it best to have the truck towed to a Ford dealership since I would have the repairs warrantied nationwide. The truck was towed in after hours on a Thursday evening. I filled out the drop off form and detailed the symptoms and felt the issue was likely related to fuel pressure (I was an automotive technician for years). By 10:30 the next day I received no call acknowledging the vehicle was dropped off, so I called the shop. I was told they would be able to get to my truck at the beginning of the next week. The next week came and went with no update, so again I called and left a message. The week after came and went with no update, so I left yet another message. On the third week, I still hadn’t heard back, called again, no answer and contacted Ford Motor Company directly, they too had no luck getting through. The next week I finally was contacted asking for approval to remove the valve covers, because they can’t figure out the cause of the lack in fuel pressure. During this call I asked about the lack of communication and was told the shop is two weeks behind, but why wasn’t I informed of this initially? Additionally, during this call, I was told by the service advisor he would have an update for me by the end of the week, latest being by noon on Saturday, yet again, no updates. Another two weeks went by with no updates. Ford corporate finally was able to get in touch and told me I would be updated that day, yet no update was provided. I finally had to contact the General Manager to get things moving and obtain updates. The General Manager was very efficient and effective and helping me out. Finally, I was informed my fuel pump pick up tube was broken in half and therefore couldn’t get fuel to the pump. This could have been easily diagnosed by checking fuel pressure from the tank at the in-line fuel filter housing and would have taken no more than 15 minutes. At that point the tech should have known the pump is likely failed and would have found the broken tube in the process. The shop called me saying the repair was almost $900.00 for an $80.00 part, the bulk of the $900.00 went to six hours of labor. Funny thing is, book time (which is how repair labor time is calculated) calls for no more than 2.5 hours to remove and replace the fuel tank, which is where the fuel pump is located. The fuel tank is big but only had several gallons in it, so it wasn’t heavy and draining it shouldn’t have taken very long.I’m glad to finally have my truck back, 1.5 months later, but I am far from satisfied in the overall experience. The only reason I’m not giving a “One Star” review is because how quickly the General Manager responded to my concern and helped facilitate some communication.In conclusion there are three unsatisfactory issues I have:1) Unacceptable lack of communication.2) A ridiculous turn around time, again with no updates provided explaining why.3) Extremely high labor times when compared to multiple labor guides widely used throughout the industry (Identifix and AllData).

I had my sunroof repaired and not only was my car ready in a day and a half, the cost wasnt over the top. It was clean when I left it and clean when I picked it up. No mess left after the service was completed.Jay Stewart is my service advisor and kept me informed the entire time. Although he gave me his direct contact number, I never had to use it because he always called me first! This was a good experience.

Worse collision center ever!! I have to call about updates on my vehicle. They tell me they will get back to me and never do. Vehicle has been in the body shop for 2 months and still not ready. Take your car somewhere else. For the prices, the customer service doesn’t match. Nothing but excuses. I do not recommend this shop and I’m regretting that I patronized this business.

My interaction with my service advisor was one of the most unpleasant and unprofessional experiences I have had in a long time. I dropped my car off on the night of August 16th for service for what I believe is a major problem brewing, along with a previously reported issue that was not resolved.I received an email on Tuesday morning that my car was checked in for warranty work. From Tuesdays morning email until my physical presence on Friday evening I received no communication from the service advisor regarding the status of my car after easily 30 calls into the service department. I left a message on August 20th for the service manager, I made sure to mention the number of calls I had made to check on the status of my car. After hearing the frustration in my voice message, as well as intentionally mentioning the number of calls I had made to the service department, there was still no return call from the service manager.After trying to check the status on Friday, with no success I left my job to head to the service department. First thing I notice is my car is parked in the exact same parking spot I left it in on August 16th..4 days later..the EXACT SAME POSITION.When I walked in, I saw the service advisor was sitting on a message from me that was taped to their chair, with no regards to even take the message off the chair to call me back. I expressed to the advisor I had easily made 30 calls into service department to check on the status of my car and I did not receive one courtesy return call, to which the service advisor advised me they were busy and had alot of other people calling and proceeded to show me a pile of post it notes to validate their frustration. Being busy is not a customers issue, nor is being busy permission to be rude or not demonstrating professionalism and common courtesy. I am not going to say I was not agitated because I was -- after 30 calls, who wouldnt be agitated. I am not going to say I didnt get loud, because I did - who wouldnt be, after being met with aggression and unprofessionalism. I would compare my interaction with the service advisor to that of a bar or personal conflict, rather than a service oriented environment. My reaction was provoked by the service advisors statement of What I am not going to do is.... There is NO arena other than bar or personal conflict where that statement would be used. The intent in that statement is to seek an adverse reaction. That statement in my community are not friendly words, its an act of aggression -- as it is a way to say: I am finished speaking to you, F* you or shut the f* up and be gone. Younger people are very versed and are able to communicate in a variety of languages/jargons/slang and I am sure the service advisor was well aware of what she said and the reaction she would get, if said. I am confident that such a statement would not have been said to a Caucasian person or for that matter any other nationality or group. There are many ways to be bias without using racial epithets and the service advisor did just that. Not only did the service advisor demonstrate a bias towards me and my situation, she also demonstrated her bias without regards to the other customers being serviced.To add insult, my car sat the entire time without being serviced. I lost 4 days of use of my car and will lose additional days of usage while I have to wait for the original issues be resolved.So when you ask me if I am satisfied with my last visit to Koons Ford. Absolutely not.I have discussed this incident with the GM and was looking forwarded to a more favorable resolution, but that is not what I received.So be careful when dealing with this location because this may happen to you too.

Bought the car from them used in April, and I have the inspection paper on what they did to get it to pass. Turned rotors and new pads and some other small items. It’s now august and they wanted to upswell me on turning the rotors again. I declined as it should have been no charge to take care of something in such a short amount of time. I wish I would have never bought the car from them in the first place. Pushy salesman and finance officer.

My only criticism is that the writer offered full price for brake service when there was a discount offered on your website. I would have thought he would know that. Our experience was so negative that I almost don’t know where to start. Took weeks just to get a phone call back after multiple messages to service advisors and then the department manager trying to get feedback on a reoccurring issue that was part of a series of repairs done by Koons 11 months ago. We finally were able to get an appointment scheduled for almost a week later and were told we’d have an assessment call within hours of arrival. 2 days later, no call and after being bounced around from associate to associate we were finally able to get ahold of someone who told us our vehicle was “in line” and we may get an answer within another week. When asked why we were scheduled to drop off if they didn’t plan to look at the vehicle for over a week their answer was that we “had to get in line”. Once seen, they didn’t even do the complete diagnostic review necessary to assess the issues discussed with the director who apparently is no longer with the company. They continually asked us if we wanted to just trade in the vehicle, so I told them that we refuse to ever buy a vehicle from their dealership. We have since found one elsewhere and offered to sell them the vehicle which then took almost another week to finally get an answer on.The one bright spot was the gentleman Will who handled the sale from the point we were put in touch with him. He was professional, courteous and on top of things, making the final step of the equation much better but for the rest of the staff and team, the lack of customer service or lack of care at all is exactly why I will never consider buying a vehicle at their family of dealerships, ever

The price was outrageous. They itemized costs, then when I told them what I wanted to have done out of the 5 different items. They suddenly told me after 5 conversations that I could not do one without the other. Of course the add on item was the most expensive.Took 7 phone calls to get arrangements to pick up my car. I called 5 times that morning asking to have it pulled up so I could run in and out as I had appointments.Tried to pay in advance. Each time I called it took over 25 minutes to speak to someone or to be put into voicemail. No one was pleasant was told repeatedly they were busy.I arrive on time as I stated 10:35am walked through 5 staff all talking to each other across there work area not one greeted or acknowledged me. I excused myself for interrupting them and asked where I needed to go to my vehicle. I was pointed in the direction to the service team. One gentleman was at his station looking back and talking to the 5 women who I just walked through and ignored me. Never acknowledged me and they were talking about something personal not work related. The two gentlemen behind the desk were on the phone never looked up. I stood there for exactly 10.5 minutes. The other gentleman who was speaking to the women, never got on the phone never had another customer in front of him and never acknowledged me. I looked back at the women and the gentleman hoping that someone would say “can I help you “that never happened just then one of the service agents said are you waiting for some thing? I thought to myself really I’ve been here over 15 minutes now and you wanna know if I need something. I smiled and said yes I need to p.m. pick up my vehicle please he asked if I got a call that it was ready. I told him yes I had been trying to pick it up since Saturday and today was Wednesday. He said you have to go see the cashier which was the group of eight ladies that were all chatting and I had just come from that area and waste it now 18 minutes of my time. Once the cashier saw me walk over and stand right in front of the station she was very friendly. Said I needed to pay and proceeded to pull my car out of the box and call for it to be pulled around. I asked my car is not pulled around? She said no they’ll have to go get it. I said well I called five times this morning and told each person I spoke to to please pull my car around so I could be out of there quickly. I paid and then proceeded to wait another 22 minutes for my car to be pulled up. Hey service center person came out and apologized I told him that I had already been waiting for an extreme amount of time and had calledDo you have my car pulled up before I arrived. He apologized and said he doesn’t know what’s happening he will go check himself. My car arrived eight minutes later.We attended to wrap my car around apologized, I told him that it was OK I knew that it wasn’t his fault. You can’t blame the attendant for the lack of service and management of the whole entire service department. I have only owned Fords my whole entire life this is my 10th Ford. I’ve bought a vehicle from Koons prior not this particular location but I have use Koons before. I won’t be buying from Koons in the future based on this experience as it was atrocious.To add insult to injury I get into the vehicle and cannot reach my pedals. I am petite and short in stature. I told them that my seat was not working and to look at it but please make sure that it gets returned his position as I need to be able to reach the pedals. They then proceeded to tell me it was $500 plus plus to fix the seat. I declined as it is actually one of the three Ford‘s that I own and is an older model 2011 escape And only worth $1500. By the way it cost me more to do the one of the five items which became to six items over the amount that it was actually worth.I get into the vehicle can’t reach the pedals and of course the seat doesn’t work. They service person saw me struggling after sitting there for 10 minutes trying to get it to move up and asked me if they were something wrong. Horrible!

I purchased a vehicle from Koons in 2017, no more than 2 months later I had to replace the drive-train. Since then Ive put more money into the maintenance of the vehicle than the loan I have on it ($1600 one month, $1200 another month, $1400 two months after that...). When I took my concerns about the extensive and constant repair needs to the Service Manger, Dan Reid told me I had to produce the service receipts from 2017 to prove Ive been having issues since I purchased their vehicle. I took that concern to the GM, Dennis Koulatsos, and asked why the service department didnt keep records of the vehicles they serviced and why does the customer have to produce 3.5 year old records for better assistance. He told me not to put anymore money into my vehicle, its not worth it. So hed have one of his sales managers call me and help me get into something better. A sales manager DID NOT call me, a regular sales person called. In fact, the SAME sales person that sold me the first vehicle. I went in to see how they would help me and I was treated like I owed them something not like they were trying to right their wrong, or even like they wanted to acknowledge that a wrong had been done. I wanted the same model I have but they continued to try to downgrade me into something I absolutely did not want. They refused to discuss the vehicle I wanted. I was told they werent going to contact the bank for those vehicles. I was also told the vehicle I want is not a good vehicle, its not worth the money it costs. I believe they had too many of the vehicles they were trying to sell me and they were trying to force them on customers. Eventually the sales person told me to contact Ford. So Im doing so. Lesson learned, dont do business with Koons.

I was advised to bring my 2012 Ford Focus in for a recall to check the door latches replaced a couple of years ago. After the latches were replaced I received an email from FoMoCo to send photos of the the latch serial numbers which I did and which FoMoCo acknowledged were the replacement latches. I was called the day of my recall and told the latches had been inspected by Koons during a previous visit by me.

I was very aggregated I dropped off my Van for an an appointment set oil change my van was there for almost 4 hrs and the oil change was never done, I rescheduled to try again if I experience the same issues I will be going to the BBB about my experience and I will not be back!!!!

After taking vehicle in for AIR BAG AND BRAKE FAILURE recall was told of a master cylinder AND brake booster failure HOW EVERY THEY NEEDED TO DO A FUTHER DIAGNOSTIC (WHICH I Tried To DECLINE but Glen STATED NEEDED TO BE DONE AT A COST OF $140.)VERY very SHORTLY AFTER GLEN (service rep) CALLED ME BACK TO TELL ME THAT WAS THE PROBLEM ($1900) REPAIR. Told me car is old should replace it he would like to connect me with sales department. ( I think) GLEN KNEW THAT WAS THE PROBLEM HOW EVER HE FELT HE HAD TO STICK ME FOR THE $140. I took car to a mechanic they replaced master cylinder and bleed brakes car is running and stopping fine. Less than $300 repair. This is why people dont want to take car to dealer. Afraid of getting hosed.THEY LOST A CUSTOMER.Mr M

I love my service advisor Mr. Green, but waiting 4 hours for a oil change and 35,000 check up is not right and having a low air in a tire.. I made an appointmen, you should honor that. My time is valuable and I just dont think you guys get this. I was offered a ride home, but was not going to be stuck there till you decided to bringback my car

I gave you this rating because your mechanics dont care about keeping vustomers car interior clean. My car is old but very clean inside. The mechanic who did my oil change put grease on my sun visor. If his hat is that dirty he should take it off. The last time that i got an oil change the mechanic got grease on my seat in 2 places. Then i was told that you all dont have leather cleaner. I had to buy leather and clean my own seat. My interior is light beige and very clean. Im very disapointed with your mechanics.

They changed my oil but I couldnt afford the other services like lug nut replace to high to replace and I feel the lugs that they put on the OEM part are cheap and they will not put good lugs on the the car from the start and to high for filter replacement

Dead battery and transmission acted up shortly plugging in a snapshot device from Progressive Insurance. Transmission shifted roughly and sluggishly, and would not go into high gear. Koons was able to troubleshoot and fix by reprogramming onboard computers.

I bought a car on May 28 2021 from Koons Ford of Baltimore and on August 11 2021 the car completely failed on me while driving. After two days of calling this dealership I was told to tow the vehicle in for a 9:30am appointment. Two days after my appointment I called for an update and they stated they “couldn’t find my car” 5 minutes later they found my car (I assume they didn’t even look for it the day of my appointment) Now they are telling me I need to tow it to bmw because they can’t work on this brand of vehicle. I’m just frustrated and still haven’t gotten an update on my vehicle(8 days after towing it to Fords dealership) wouldn’t recommend buying or servicing any vehicle here
