I normally get my maintenance done at another auto shop, but was in the area and needed an oil change. Process was pretty straightforward and easy, but I know for a fact that I was charged more than I have ever paid for an oil change. I’m aware of what fair prices are since I’ve gotten work done on my car in multiple states. I do not believe it was an honest price. Some auto shops will charge you a higher rate if they think they can take advantage of you. Person at front desk was also rude and gave me an attitude. Interior mat on driver’s side was also not clean when I picked up the car, which was freshly cleaned when I dropped it off at their lot. Better prices and friendly mechanics can be found elsewhere.

Honest crew that always does good work on our vehicles. Ive been going for years and am always satisfied. Brakes, tires, oil changes.... They do mostly everything. They are also honest about work that is out of their wheelhouse which I appreciate.

FINALLY! A great local shop that wont try to sell you unneeded services/parts. The shop is clean, the were responsive and kept me informed while they inspected by brakes. Prices were reasonable and they were friendly. If youre looking for an honest place to take your car for service give them a call!

Friendly people. Quick service. My first time here. Google reviews are accurate. Place is 5💫 they have an early morning drop off which is before 7:30am make sure you call them. And then theyll call you when your car is ready. For someone who doesnt know how to parallel park, it was very convenient they have parking lots in front of the building which makes it easier for customers.

I had a flat tire in the morning. Was able to get it replaced by the afternoon. Price was fair and reasonable. Would go there again for tire services.

I stopped in at Gerrys without an appointment because I am not car savvy and could not figure out if they plugged/patched tires and did not want to make an appointment and waste their time/an appointment slot if they did not. Through previous experiences I learned that not every company patches or plugs tires. I had my tire plugged about a year ago somewhere else and it was all fine and dandy until I started driving around the city more frequently and noticed that I was constantly having to put air in my tire. Not only was the customer service spectacular, but I was able to have my tire patched within the hour at a VERY reasonable price. I was more than happy to pay whatever based on how pleasant everyone was and how quickly they helped me out even though I did not have an appointment. If you live in the city or in the surrounding area Gerrys is definitely the place to go. Easy parking with a full open lot across the street which is also great for anyone who may be unsure of city parking (me). For any future car or tire help I will be going to Gerrys. Great guys and great company, I cant recommend them enough. Thank you!!!

Stopped in one afternoon after realizing my tire was every low on air and no where around had a pump available. Very nice guy filled my tires up and then brought it to my attention my car needed 4 new tires pretty badly. Quoted me a very fair price considering we’re in the middle of a pandemic and was very honest, upfront, and nice! I paid the same amount for 4 new tires here as I did for 2 new tires two years prior at Firestone. Highly recommend this shop! I had been passing by it for years not realizing it was there. If you’re in the Fells Point/Upper Fells area it’s within walking distance if you have to leave your car and return later to pick it up.

Took my car here for the check engine light. Paid a lot to have it fixed. Check engine light came right back on for the same issue and the shop tried to tell me it was the computer in the. NOPE they put bad parts inWRONGResponse to service comment: well I brought my car there for a check engine light repair. After the repair the check engine light was still on. Took it to the dealer and they repaired the right part. You told me that it was a computer issue. No you repaired the wrong part. Would never recommend this shop to anyone.

I was searching for a new place to go to get my car serviced and I found it! Heard about this place from some neighbors in Baltimore and was glad I checked it out when I realized I was due for new tires. Gerrys Tires team was professional over the phone when scheduling me and everything was smooth when I got there to drop my car off. I already knew I needed new wiper blades and my air filter to be changed and they were able to do this along with the new tires. Everything was completed quicker than I expected and at a very affordable/reasonable price! Its not often that I write reviews but this place was really honest and wonderful :)

I brought my car in late Wednesday and was back up and running the following morning. It was a quick and smooth transaction, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Great experience! I had a slow leak in a front tire and was close to needing to replace all four tires anyways. I went into Gerrys and John did a complimentary check of my tires. He recommended replacing four tires, although he was not at all pushy with the recommendation. Im confident that it was the smart decision. I had checked Consumer Reports to find a couple of tire options that fit my need. Gerrys had my #1 choice tire in stock, and the DOT dates were all less than 3 months old (very fresh tires). I dropped off my car in the evening and they had it done by 7:20AM the next day. Got exactly what I wanted at exactly the quoted price, all-in, which was very competitive. I had a great experience there! I got a nail in my tire and I was an hour from home. I saw that Gerry’s Tire Service was 5 mins away from where I was and gave them a call. Amazing customer service from the book keeper, Frank. He was patient with me and answered any questions I had. Wayne, the mechanic in charge of fixing the tire was great as well. A bonus is the facility is very clean (including the restroom) with a welcoming environment.

When Mr. Tire didnt have the right tire brand I needed when I got a flat, I called Gerrys and although they didnt have it either, they ordered it for me and got it within the hour! I brought in my car for the change and they were quick and efficient. Frank and Pat were absolutely great to work with. 10/10 would go back again if I need anything else for my car.

Friendly & fast with a fair price. We didnt discuss price at all before the work was done. I let that go on purpose, knowing what I wanted, but curious to see if theyd be fair. If I could give Gerrys Tire a 6-star review I would. I went to Gerrys on the recommendation of a friend (after Goodyear tried to con me into buying a set of new tires), and I was not disappointed. Their customer service is incredible. I brought in a flat tire and it was repaired in less than 2 hrs for a FRACTION of what Goodyear told me I needed to spend.Goodyear initially told me that they could not repair the flat and claimed that since I had a nail in the a another tire, I needed at minimum 2 new tires but that they recommended replacing all 4. The car is only 2 years old with less than 25k miles - theres no WAY I needed to replace all 4 tires! I didnt have enough car knowledge to dispute their claim that it could damage the car... but something about their immediate recommendation to buy an entire set of new tires was fishy.Instead, I drove the car to Gerrys Tires on Central Ave. Not only was Gerrys able to fix BOTH tires for $60, but when I told Pat what Goodyear had said, he immediately knew which location I was talking about and the name of the woman I dealt with there. Its clear that Im not the only customer Goodyear has tried to fool.Gerrys Tire has definitely made me a loyal customer and will be the only place that we take our vehicles from now on. After contacting larger tire dealers with national ads for discounts, such as buy 3 get 1 free, I realized they were all still priced the same and the deals werent quite real. I did another online search and stumbled upon Gerrys. After reading a few reviews I called Gerrys, liked what I heard, and was able to bring in my van within the hour, as well as get it back with great timing. It was a pleasant experience, a savings over the other establishments, and I will definitely refer others to Gerrys Tire Services.

5 stars for their timely service when I had an emergency and needed a tire plugged within the day. 4 starts because I think their prices are a little steep at $30 for a tire plugging that I can get usually for $15-20. Offered to replace tire with off brand tire around $80-90. I replaced brand name tires months later for less than $50 each. Good Service and timely service.

Had a hole in my tire and I thought I needed to replace it but they were able to just patch it up for a fraction of the cost. Its been fixed now for over 4 months no issues. Super quick- same day repair and very affordable. I Highly recommend.

Theyre courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely fast- they just put new tires on my car a few days ago, and it was done in less than an hour. Their pricing is extremely competitive too, and I like supporting a local business rather than going to a chain. Ill never take my car anywhere else.

Jon and Frank were both very helpful and straightforward. In fact, Jon suggested from the 2 tires I was looking at, one that was slightly lower in price, as it was just a better value with a longer warranty. They came highly recommended to me, and so this was my first time there, but I will be back for my other cars, very pleased with everything.

The guys here are extremely nice! Just got my tire replaced -- theres been a very small leak from months now and they found it! Usually dunking a tire in a bucket of water will produce bubbles with a typical leak, but this one required soap because it was so small. They could have fixed the leak had the abrasion been on the flat part of the tread, but being on the shoulder it wasnt likely to work. I appreciated the explanation and the attempt to fix the problem a cheaper way! Anyway, great staff, quick, will definitely be coming back here 👍

I went to this Auto shop thinking I was just getting a oil change an fluids but I was not prepared to walk into Cheers.... where everybody knows your name and they are ALWAYS glad you came! They were friendly, fast and efficient but most of all not expensive! I made a 6:30a appointment and was on my way 45mins later with a Smile.

The guy comes in and asked me if I wanted to get my tires rotated remembering that they put new tires on awhile back. They are very honest and have the best customer service in downtown Baltimore. I was in Baltimore on business and got a flat tire. I googled for the nearest tire shop location to make sure it was an ok place to go. It was so neat and clean inside and outside of this shop, I was so impressed, cleanest auto/tire repair shop that I have ever seen. Everyone was very friendly and they fixed my tire as soon as they were done with their lunch break. $25 and I was out the door. Great service and a great price. Highly recommend this shop!

Great place to have nearby- they have done a number of things for us- started with a flat tire repair, they they fixed my gas tank door for free (which was awesome because it not opening and I was nearly empty!). My husband had new tires, oil change, and new rearview mirror for a very reasonable price. We will be using them as much as possible for as long as we live in the area.

I live in Fells. Recently got 4 tires changed and balance. It was over half the cost what my car dealer quoted. Plus he found me a discount on the service. Ill definitely patronize this establishment as well as highly recommend.

These guys are the best!I drive three cars (a sedan, an SUV and a sports car) all for different purposes, at different times of the year, and have received excellent advice, service and pricing from Gerrys on every single transaction.They know automotive wheels, brakes, suspensions, tires, shocks, struts, et al. Experts in this area and also experts in knowing who to refer you to if you have another kind of problem (e.g. mechanical, structural, et al).If you give them notice, you can usually drop off by 7am and pick up by 3pm, same day. Amazing business! I went there in the spring for all new tires (after 2 glowing reviews from friends), and was shocked by the speedy service and price. We made an appointment, dropped the car off after hours the night before they said they would work on it, and by 11am, the car was ready to be picked up. Last week, after not being happy with where I had previously taken my car for oil changes, we called and asked if they did those as well....again we were given an appointment, dropped it off after hours, and called at 6:55am to get an estimate on when it would be done. We were told the car was already done and by 8am, we had picked it up, cheaper than I was used to paying, and with a tire rotation to boot! I will forever use this place as long as I live here!

Needed (2) tires & brakes all around. The service was speedy, the cost was much lower than a dealership, and guys have a great personality! Had a slight issue after with steering wheel shake and Terry took care of it right away.Oh, and the Circulator drops you off a block away. Much easy than going close to home and waiting for your car to be done.

I cant speak highly enough of this place. So much so that as soon as I left I wanted to write a review - and I never write reviews. I left for work and found I had a flat tire. Very frustrating considering I took it to a different mechanic the previous week and everything checked out ok. Took my car into Gerrys with no appointment. They were super accommodating, helpful and upfront - which I very much appreciated. I was in and out in about an hour. Worked on my laptop, connected to their free guest wifi. The prices are beyond reasonable and no pressure to have a service done that you dont want or need. Bottom line... these guys rule.

Historically, I have had horrible experiences with auto mechanics. So, I am usually very critical of auto service and work. I have taken my car to Gerrys on 3 different occasions (tires, brakes, and emissions failure inspection) and I have nothing but the highest respect for them. Can always get my car worked on within 4 days, excellent service and prices. My car is a Volvo and my Check Engine light was on, and they ran a test that indicated my car needed specialized work. They didnt even charge me for the code resets and gave me a referral to a shop that could perform the specialized work. Highly recommend you take your car to this place....its tough to find honesty in this industry.

You can trust these guys. Came in to get my brakes changed. They couldve easily changed front and back, but instead told me I still had time on the front brakes. Great prices also. Bought new tires a few months ago. Afterwards, checked online and saw they charged me less than some of the discount websites with great service and convenient onsite installation included. Summary: Honest, knowledgable, fast, cheap, no nonsense.
