I booked a 3 night stay for Nashville (Dec. 29-Jan. 1) in early July. I received an email confirmation the next day giving me a booking ID so of course I thought it was all taken care of. I received an email Nov. 8 that my reservation was never actually booked. I phoned VMG to learn that the employee in July took my reservation and 1st payment (1/2 installments) but never booked this reservation with the resort.I spoke with the Director who said they are refunding me my 1st installment back and the employee responsible for the mistake is no longer with VMG and that the best they could do is offer me 10% off any future booking. The problem is that the hotels/resorts in the area of equal value of my initial booking are now double if not triple the cost so a lousy 10% off in the future does not help the situation VMG has put me in. So my recommendation is that if anyone has to deal with this company is to actually make sure they did their work, after you receive their booking ID, phone the actually resort to ensure they did THEIR job, if not you may be out your own time/effort/cost to find alternative accommodations, unless that is you want a lousy 10% discount off any future booking. Reservation made four month prior to the trip paid in full and confirmed under strict cancelation policy cancelled by Vacation Management Group (VMG) a week before the trip. A single hotel room with not enough sleeping places offered in replacement for two bedroom two bathroom condo one and a half hours away driving distance from original accommodation. That caused trip cancelation and loss of airfare and time scheduled for vacation.

Worked there. Shady practices and theft from within.
