Nice sports bar with plenty of TVs to catch your favorite game. Great atmosphere and service. The buffalo chicken tenders were on point!

This was our first visit to this place the food was fantastic. I recommend the risotto bites. They are hard to share but the portion is big enough to share, you just may not want to. The service was good, very attentive but not overly so. They have several TV for viewing, the Cardinals were playing a day game. I like how the had the game playing over the speakers but it was not so loud that we could have a conversation. I will definitely be going back there.

Ordered takeout and ate in within the last week. Takeout was so good we wanted to eat in. Place gets crowded quickly, service was solid, they have a nice selection of apps, mozzarella triangles are very good, as are the pepper jack cubes. Daughter and her friend loved the pizza, and now they want all you can mozzarella app for our next visit. Seasoned fries are good, i had the patty melt -very good, on our return visit I had the stuffed cheese and bacon burger. I prefer the patty melt. But thats me.

Food was extremely salty. Waiter had to come back and retake the order and the dining room was filthy two hours before closing on a sunday evening.

Food was good, atmosphere pretty quiet unless its triva night. Then it gets so loud you cant hear yourself yelling the answers out....which is frowned upon....whoops..still food was excellent, staff was friendly, and the drinks are good. The trivia would have been awesome had I known about it. My bad for not looking, I may have missed the signs. Probably could have checked the website, but I was just hungry.

1st time here since its been run as1356. The food was excellent with large portions and the service was great! I think theyll be sticking around for a long time. Great menu options for anyone. Lots of TVs with sports on to see from anywhere you sit. A really great place!

This was a busy place with a mixed clientele, which is usually a good sign. Service was good and the fish & chips I ordered was done to perfection. Id definitely go back again!

We only had time for appetizers. Their hand bread mushrooms and homemade potato skins were both very good. Will definitely return.

The food is good. We really like the cheese wedges. I can say it is slightly elevated pub fare. One issue is the service. I have never had a terrific experience with service. Ive been here 4 times and they have messed up the order every time. I dont even change or substitute anything. Ive ordered a beer and never received it on every trip.

My fiancé and I love 1356 Public House! It’s the perfect spot to watch a Blue’s game and their bar specials truly cannot be beat. Everything we’ve ate has been amazing, but their grilled chicken sliders on pretzel buns are the best around.

The restaurant was a little loud but it was a Friday dinner service. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries and the food was good. I liked the bacon on the burger.

Mediocre at best. You can see the left over Kreigers dna on their menu. Apparently the owner worked for Kreigers and bought the place from them and was not original enough to upgrade the menu from the failed 90s style pub and grill menu filled with frozen mass produced Sisco food of the days gone by. The face-lift is decent though.

We have been in search of a great neighborhood bar and grill in the area and found it at 1356 Public House. With a robust drink menu, unique and staple food items and a full kids menu everyone in the family found something they were happy with. The kids mac n cheese was one of the best weve ever had, including reheated the next day! The buffalo chicken sandwich was crisp and well cooked and seasoned. I look forward to trying other signature dishes at future visits. This is our new go to neighborhood grill!

Food is great. Staff is slow and less than desirable. Clearly drug tests dont happen there. Once again though food tastes great.

Customer service here is terrible. Ordered food online and waited over 30 minutes past the pickup time for our food to be brought out. Called to speak with a manager lady who answered the phone was rude and told me the manager was busy she would call me later that evening. Never received a phone call from the manager.

Were told it was a 45 minute wait but there were 3 tables open. We asked if we could sit at 1 of the 2 open tables near the bar but were told names were on the wait list. Seems very disorganized. Ordered curbside and had to call to check on my order which was just sitting on the table. Wanted to patronize a local business, hopefully the service gets better.

Very good appetizers and prices during Happy Hour.Try the beef tenderloin sliders(MR). Outstanding.Is just a very comfortable place. The staff are very attentive.

Nice sports bar with good selection of American food, with a twist. Liked that bacon was IN the burger, as were the jalapeños. Instead of just laid on top.Good fries, nice union rings. Service was OK.All in all a decent place to stop for a bite and drink.

Have a rule that if they have lobster bisque order it. Am I glad I did! It was delicious. Had it along with a tenderloin sandwich and all was done perfectly. The atmosphere was very nice and service was great. When back in the area, I will visit 1356 Public House again.

Delicious! My go-to meal is the chicken Caesar wrap or the shrimp Caesar wrap. Their side options are good. Portions are generous, but I have had a couple occasions where they were noticeable small for some reason. I love their curbside service and helping support our local businesses.

Trying so hard to support local businesses right now. Love their Buffalo chicken salad. Try to order at least once a month. Last few times took 30+ minutes for a salad.. with estimate of 20 minutes. Today didn’t receive my order after 35+ min. Had to leave. May seem minor but leaving home with 2 babies at home, a little frustrating. Love that it’s right up the road but takes way too much time for a salad! Left hungry and angry tonight!

This place is TERRIBLE at takeout Order accuracy. Shame on us for not checking our orders until we get home everytime. But no one expects their orders to be wrong 75% of the time. It really is amazing. TERRIBLE.Seated service is far better. Food is pretty good and reasonably priced. They just need to work on their takeout accuracy.

Food and service were very good

While in high school during the 90s we would frequent the previous named restaurant every Wednesday night, what an amazing change and upgrade! I was with a party of 8, and did not have a single complaint from anyone. The burgers were cooked exactly to order, the seasoned fries and tator tops the right about of crispy. The staff was friendly and prompt. We will be back.

Ordered online and picked up at the restaurant. The food was ready and hot. And boy it was really, really good. I ordered the veggie wrap and it was terrific. With crunchy onion rings and wonderful fried cheese. We made the right choice on our quick visit to st louis.

Ive been eating here since I was 16 and had my first job as a busser. They were Kriegers then. The new owner kept the old favorites but improved quality for alot of the items. I order from there about twice a month. I have to have my shrimp Caesar salad and seasoned fries. Their house made ranch is also the best in STL.

Placed a Pick up order for lunch received my receipt via email with the click when arrive option for them to bring it out. I arrived at the assigned time and hit the notification button waited no response did it again no response did a 3rd time no response finally went inside. Nobody apparently had Uploaded the order so food was not ready. Told them I did not have time to wait please give me a refund. Refund not given multiple phone calls made and still dont seem to have my money back given up hopes on actually getting it. Have been told management will contact me every time by multiple people and again still heard nothing apparently management could careless.

This place has amazing food, it’s really cheap and you get so much of it. I usually just get my blackened grilled chicken sandwich. But I’ve heard that the rest of the food is delicious as well. I go at least once a month and will be consistent with this one

This place used to be called Kriegers. We loved it for over 20 years in its various locations and will continue to visit when we return to the St. Louis area! The blackened chicken sandwich is the best! Seasoned Fries are always good (and I think Bottomless?) My wife always likes to get the burger on a pretzel bun. Always a great meal!!

Love this place. Best place for Sunday football! They have nice clear TVs with enough to watch every game played and repeat a few. The drink and food specials are amazing. It doesnt hurt that the food taste good and to get a deal it is the icing on the cake. Their staff is super cool which makes the experience enjoyable.

Had a wonderful burger, but the fries, while tasting good, werent hot. Barely warm, at best. Will still go back, eventually.

My fiancé and I Googled “burgers near me” and this place pulled up in the list. It was one of very few that were open currently, after Corona, so it got our vote. We dipped in to find a little bar/restaurant that shocked the hell out of us‼️‼️‼️ The bartender, Sue (if my receipt reads correctly) knew her stuff. Having moved from Alaska in November, I had been unable to find a Cadillac Margarita like they made back home... until today❣️👊🏻🎉 Not only did she hold down the bar and the whole restaurant but she handled our service like a boss. My honey requested to sample some of the wing sauces and she was happy to oblige. He was excited to find many to his liking (aka HOT as all get out) and even more elated when they tasted even better on the wing! Evidently they coat the wings, fry them, coat them again and fry it again so… I don’t have to tell you it’s amazing! Additionally, I had THE BEST fried mushrooms 🍄🍄 I’ve ever had in my entire life. And then, but wait there’s more, I ordered grilled shrimp 🍤 🍤 off the appetizer menu and they were grilled to perfection. Plus...!!!... the steak 🥩 skewers were so DA BOMB that we regret not ordering multiples. IDK who the chef 👩‍🍳 is behind the scenes but they do not miss a beat at this place. We will be back and ordering more than we can eat so that we take home lots of left overs home with us❣️

Happy hour specials until 7 most evenings, as well as late night happy hour. Easily accessible location near 141 and Big Bend. Plenty of lighted parking lot space. Grab your friends and go!

This spot gives wonderful service as well as delightful food. One of the best restaurant in the area. The meals served quickly and the prices are reasonable. Will definitely recommend this place.

Fun place to watch a game, have drinks with friends, and to eat lunch or dinner. Their new pretzel is to die for-best pretzel I’ve ever had. It’s sprinkled w poppy seeds and sesame seeds and they offer cream cheese & chive dip or hot cheddar. Next time you’re there start with the pretzel! 🥨 🍻

Went with some friends and enjoyed their wings. I ordered the 5 alarm wings. They were crazy good and killer hot! My lips were numb and I loved them! The beers were ice cold, everything was reasonably priced and the wait staff was SUPER friendly. Will go again!

Came with family for late dinner. Got seated right away but didnt see server for ten minutes. Ordered burgers, wraps, special sirloin steak and prime rib sandwich. Burgers were great. Steak was over cooked and had no flavor or seasoning. Band was playing so it was loud and hard to talk. Good band though.

Went for a Christmas party. Nice private room. Service and food were decent. We should have had two severs instead of two for me attentive service. Old specials and houseb beers were posted, but unavailable. Would go again, but with lower expectations.

The food was fantastic and the service was great. When we arrived, with a party of 9, they said our wait would be 45 minutes. They got us a table in less than 15. The bet selection is a little obsessed with IPAs but thats trendy.
