Sadly my experience and happy nails was not so happy. The photos speak for itself. There is no apex the nails are poorly shaped. I received a rushed job on my nails. At least my pedicure came out nice. And the person who prepped my nails for Alex clearly must not be certified because they couldn’t even glue the nails on straight. On top of that the person glued another tip on top of the one that was crooked. I wish the experience would have been better but I won’t be back. At least I still gave them a tip.

Noah was so funny and made my experience comfortable and full of laughs with my friend. My nails Alex did match exactly the picture I wanted and I started to cry while Kim was doing my toe nails because I have never felt better about my feet. Before I wouldn’t let anyone glance at my feet now I feel comfortable posting them!! 10/10 best experience!!! If I ever recommend a place to someone it will be Happy Nail and Spa in Balch Springs. The staff and the service is amazing.

I love Alex! Her and her employees at the sweetest, which is not easy to find. Grade A work and design. Im temporarily living in Wichita Falls, 2 hours or so away, and I come into town every 2 to 3 weeks to have Alex transform my nails into another work of art. ❤

This is my go-to nail spot for the Mesquite-Balch Springs area. I tried a few different nail salons nearby and none compare to Happy Nails & Spa. There’s great space so it doesn’t feel crowded. Everyone is so friendly and does excellent work. I recommend an appointment or coming in much before closing time. Along with amazing service, they offer drinks so you can really relax and enjoy your time there.

Showed the pic of exactly what I wanted which including a very simple design... they did not deliver. When I told them that it was not what I asked for & that what I asked for & was quoted a price for included a design they tried to upcharge me at the end. Left an unsatisfied customer without the design I requested. Spent $113. My big toe nail was nowhere near even and it was way obvious. I had to get another employee to fix her work. Spent $113 and nobody so much as offered me a sip of water like other customers hmmm. Needless to say I wont be back! What I requested vs what I got... pictured below (the same pic I showed them). I gave them a 2 instead of a 1 bc Cao did a good job on my nails & actually asked if I was satisfied with them. Plus hes the one who fixed my lopsided toe nails.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! I love how professional and friendly the staff are. Alex and Tiffanie greets you by name soon as you walk through the door and I never got that at any other nail place I visited. The environment is cozy and welcoming. I have not had an appointment for a manicure or pedicure that didn’t turn out right. Not too pleased with the outcome of my nails. pedi: simple white tip is corked. mani: these are my natural nails with dip powder that was $45. the shaping is somewhat decent but couldve been better. They didnt tell me how much I was going to pay until I got the receipt my total was $68. I would not mind paying that if I would have gotten a better job done! Friendly employees but I will not be going back.

Had appointment. Please make an appointment before you go in. These workers do great work and its hard work. They dont need to be rushed. They take care of you and they are so nice. Alex greeted me and she was pleasant. Tina completed my services and did wonderful. First time getting a pedicure and she did great at being gentle. Im 50. Not scared anymore. Will be coming back. I visited this salon for the first time recently and I will definitely be coming back for all my nail needs!! The pedicure was amazing and Alex was so precise on my nails and they are beautiful! The atmosphere is incredible and the prices are great and their work is well worth every penny! I cant wait to come back!

On two occasions my thumb nail has broken off in a matter of days. I liked the atmosphere, i liked Emily and tiffanie but i dont like the managers vibes. Feels like she rushes through everyone. I requested a matte black with royal blue rose and i got like a navy blue in circles that sort of looked like roses if you squinted. With Emily she took her time, maybe more than she should have, but she was gentle. My friends have great experiences but i dont like that Im missing my thumb nails. Luckily I dont get them often enough to stress about it but i wont be returning. I appreciate how Tiffanie took her time to tend to my kid even tho she wasnt able to do the design we wanted. She made her happy by simply taking time for little details.

Im so happy they did a great job! I noticed texas is really into drinking lol. They had free margaritas there . Lol still sober! Dont mind my ankles lol they are swollen I walked a mile to get to nail place, I can afford uber I just wanted to explore .

I went to get my nails done. The nail tech(Alex) told me she does what she wants with clients nails. When I told her the style I wanted, she did her own style! She even overcharged me. I dont know how this place is still in business. I have seen women walk out because their nails were done incorrectly.I have never had such bad customer service

Very nice staff, they make you feel so welcome. Love their hours as they are convenient with my schedule. Jade did a great job on my toes and someone else worked on my nails! Though I’m very upset at how fast my nails break off. By Day 5, two nails broke. Today is Day 8 and I have four broken nails. $40 down the drain. ☹️UPDATE: Went back and got taken care of by Alex. She chose an AMAZING color and it is now Day 8 and all my nails are still on. 😁😁

I love coming to this place seriously.. Its been lil over a month since I was able to get in to get my nails redone... As soon as I walked In I was greeted with a hello Amanda we were just talking about how long its been we havent seen you.. Now that is customer service to a T... Today Alice did my nails I got an ombre dip we a full set of nails ( my real ones kinda broke) just 45$.. I just love the way they turned out!! I will always come back here for my nails.. Looked up this place on Google maps and I am so glad I did. Was offered a beverage as soon as I sat down. Jazz music playing in the background was soothing and was refreshing. Alex did my nails and they are AMAZING! I wanted something different but not too much and she helped create what I was looking for.... and only $40. Anywhere else this would have been much more due to the many polishes and designs on top of the regular full set price. I was in and out before I knew it. Even though I didnt get a pedi, I noticed they do put plastic bags over the bowls! This is a big plus for me!!! Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone willing to read the reviews and visit this shop

Absolutely perfect Ive had a lot of problems with nail salons cutting up my fingers or putting too much pressure causing quite a bit of pain this particular nail salon did a fantastic job and paid very close attention to my comfort and made sure that my fingers were not bloody when I left although the nail job that I did get was for Halloween so it is a bloody look to it and the artist (Kieu) did a fantastic job thank you so much will be coming back for sure

Im not a fan of my pedicure at all. Ive seen so much better. I will not be back. The work is mediocre. She didnt clean my feet the way Im use to like as far as cleaning underneath my toes, her massage was OFF. Just ugh. Issa no for me. $40 down the drain.

I visited this place whenever I needed to do my nails and it seemed to me that I was doing a good job, but the last time I did the job tiffany did not do it well, my nails began to peel off only three days had passed and I had to go back so that I would do it again because I had paid $ 35 but this time I came back it was done by his other wife, but he had to charge me $ 35 more in a few words than between Thursday and sunday for my nails I had to pay $ 70 and it is not fair because it was something that they They did not do well and it was obvious that I did not have to charge, but since I do not like the problems, I had to pay again and they gave me a $ 5 discount card, off but what I did was that I left them there I said I didnt need it because the truth is that I didnt like it, its not fair and they were very unfair to me. So if I could give it 0 stars, I would give it to you, but as there isnt, I have to give it one, but I dont recommend this place to anyone because those people you Yes they can understand them But they cant understand it when they know that the business has it for the clients they robbed me of my brazen $ 70 Dollar Thursday ($ 35 $ and on ($ 35) Sunday is not fair 😡😡😡

Absolutely love this nail salon, I was happily welcomed and offered a complimentary drink as I had my service. The technician David was very professional and did a wonderful job on my dip acrylics, will definitely make this my every payday stop.

Showed them what I wanted they said they could do it. But it didnt come out like what I showed them. Paid a lot for them and now I gotta wait it out. They can do plain stuff but nothing complicated. Do recommend this place for plain nails or simple nails. Also the lady doing my nails was very distracted. Not sure if that contributed to the outcome.

I have been coming here for 3 almost 4 years. The last 4 or 5 times that I have came in and got my nails done they start breaking with in the first few days. They usually fix them but today I was told by Alex since it was a tech that did them I would have to pay to get them fixed. I dont believe this is fair due to me having to come in everytime I go here to get at least one or two nails fixed. My nails should not break every time I come in. I am disappointed and I wont be back.. im not going to spend 100 + every time I come to be treated like this..

I first visited this salon about a month ago and returned to get my nails done 02/13. The first time my experience was great with David so I requested him again. I got the dip powder and wanted the word love in black on white nails with one nail red. David did excellent on my nails however he had to refer me to Alex for the design. I showed Alex who is also the manager how i wanted it and what she did was not to my liking. When I said something she said well I cant do it like that, which was all she had to say from the beginning and I wouldve chosen something else. She then took it off (without fully cleaning my white nail) and did a simple heart in black. Later that day I noticed cracks in the nails. I knew it had to be from her adding the design because it didnt happen previously, so I went back today while I was off. David was busy so I dealt with Alex again and she simply buffed the nails and added another top coat. When I asked about the design she said that it would crack again and that Valentines was over (even though I paid extra for the design and asked if it would work with dip nail before I got it.) Overall, I think David is a great nail tech however Alex is a careless, unprofessional manager. As a manager you should treat everyone with respect as you could gain a customer for a lifetime.

First time here... got manicure, pedicure and eyebrows... Alex did my nails,David did my feet and I cant remember here name I think is was Lisa (maybe) she did my eyebrows..They all did amazing!!! Great first experience.. I will definitely go back

I got a pedicure February 2,2021 by Paul it was my first time there I paid $75 and tipped $10 he cut up my heels pretty bad I can’t put any weight on them and it’s very painful I do not recommend this place the least he could’ve done is let me know he cut me only reason I went was because I saw they had a 4.5 star review. Happy Nails...its the best. My sister had been there before and said I should go. I finally did...now its been over a year. Alex is the person I prefer to do my nails...always the best. Just remember she gets extremely busy. So heads up.As for my pedicure...ask for KIEU people!!! She always does an amazing job... make sure to ask for the Happy Feet selection ladies, youll not regret it! Your feet will REALLY be happy.

Walked in and asked how much to have dip powder removed from my nails. Was told the price. I agreed to pay the price given. Nail tech kept asking did I want additional services and I continuously declined. When leaving he started speaking in another language to the lady at the register. Next thing I know they charged me double the price and said I had received additional services. The nail tech was dishonest. Do not recommend.

We just visited this salon for the first time and it was amazing. I got a pedicure and my daughter got a manicure, my tech was Tan and hers was Kevin. Both gentlemen were sweet and did awesome work. Everyone who works there welcomes you in and puts you at ease. Both men were very gentle in comparison to the work done at other shops.
